• Peninsula families are slowly transitioning to winter as the fall sports season begins to wind down. The PV Mavericks are in Arizona this weekend playing for a chance to play in the Pop Warner national championship in Florida. AYSO soccer officially ends its regular season this weekend, but with playoff matches for Division U9 thru U14 continuing all over the Peninsula. The Palos Verdes High girls tennis team won a CIF championship, while the PV football team continues its playoff drive. We don’t slow down for winter, check out the next edition of Panorama on Dec. 3.
