• Peninsula fields are dry and fast with fall sports speeding through the season. Pop Warner football teams will hold final home games at PV high today, while Pony League baseball and girls’ softball begin their off seasons. Middle school flag football and girls’ volleyball take the stage this week, and we continue our coverage of high school and community events. Next edition will be out Oct. 25.
