Peninsula wide reciever Aiden Lieb makes a leaping catch during the Panthers big win over Culver City.
The Peninsula freshman football team scored their fifth win this season and remain undefeated after beating the Culver City Centennials on Sept. 29. With just a few seconds into the game Aiden Lieb scored a touchdown for the Panthers and the team rolled to a 49-20 victory. Henry Thomas also proved to be very promising himself throughout the game getting major plays for the Panthers. The Panthers are having a promising season and have been working tirelessly after their season was cancelled early last year. The Panthers have a great win streak going so far and are prepping for their next game, which was Thursday against Mira Costa at Peninsula. The coaching staff for the freshman team include Larry Campbell, Rick Smith, John Hangartner and Chris Duffy. They have all done a great job with preparing the team this season after the doubts on how Peninsula football would start up again.
