• The Palos Verdes Basketball Association held its annual "Championship Sunday" last week. Third Grade to 8th Grade boys championship games were held at the Peninsula High gym. Girl championship games were held at the Palos Verdes High gym, while 1st/2nd Grade and Kindergarten teams played games throughout the day at the Peninsula Field House. PVBA is one of the most popular leagues on the Peninsula, with close to a thousand players and 100 teams participating.
Get The Rebound . . . The Comets and Red Bulls played tough during 1st/2nd Grade Division action at the Kelly Field House Sunday.
