A Peninsula Rite Of Passage . . . The New Year began with cold and wet baseball and softball tryouts held all over the Peninsula for ball players of all ages and sizes.

• The action doesn’t slow down for Peninsula families as PVBA, baseball tryouts and tournament soccer action keeps the action going in winter. A new sports season is well under way with high school, middle school and youth athletic teams playing winter sports with an eye on the upcoming spring season.
