PRPG.mx’s PerspectivasHumanxs arrives nearly two years into a worldwide pandemic. A time in which we were all forced to examine our bodies, our bodies in physical space, our bodies in relation to others, our bodies as an expression of politics, our bodies as a potential threat, our bodies as salvation. We dawn masks, keep our social distance, and develop rituals to protect ourselves from the unseen and known threats.
Seven artists, in 6 spaces explore the human form, our perceptions, our experiences, and the stories we tell. These stories comfort us, remind us, educate us, and bring us together as HUMANXS. We seek commonalities and honor the diversity of these voices. Traveling the gallery spaces within PRPG.mx we hope the viewers, the experiencers, the HUMANXS are challenged.
