Message From The Province Reporter

Brothers All:

I am pleased to bring you this Winter 2023 edition of the Eastern Province Khronicle My committee and I have worked tirelessly to bring you this edition This edition of the Khronicle features several chapter submissions and a feature article from our Inaugural Eastern Province Founders Day Program

We are excited that there has been an increase in interest for hard copies of the publication However, there has been a significant delay in processing hard copies and getting them to brothers. Brother Hill (Assistant Province Reporter) and I are aware of the delay, and we have been working with our current vendors to manage the delay accordingly In the near future, we will be working on a strategic plan to vet new printing vendors The plan will address the quality of the print, the cost to the brothers, production time, and timelines for shipping

Thank you all for your patience as we have navigated the various processes associated with getting the Khronicle to you The number of submissions for the 2022-23 fraternal year has quadrupled compared to those from the 2021-22 fraternal year; therefore, reviewing submissions has taken the committee a little more time. The committee also manages submissions to the Journal of Kappa Alpha Psi, and there has also been significant interest in those submissions We are dedicated to producing a neat, professional document, and most importantly, allows chapters to tell their storywhich becomes our story as a province

Finally, I would like to thank the 29th Eastern Province Polemarch, Brother Charles E Exum, Jr, for his leadership and for sharing his renewed vision for the Khronicle. His support to this committee has been immeasurable.
