The Eastern Province’s Inaugural Founders’ Day Celebration

On Saturday, January 7, 2023, the Eastern Province of Kappa Alpha Psi hosted its’ inaugural Founder’s Day Celebration The event was hosted at the Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa at Short Pump in Richmond, Virginia. In observance of the 112th year of existence of our noble clan, the celebration was appropriately themed “Investing in Kappa’s Future” Although Reuben A Shelton, III, Esq., 34th Grand Polemarch of Kappa Alpha Psi, could not be in attendance, he issued a letter of congratulations to the province for hosting the inaugural celebration. Over 600 brothers registered for the event, including several undergraduate brothers There was only one alumni chapter without representation

There was only one alumni chapter without representation.

Immediately following the banquet, brothers engaged with community members in social gathering. Many other members of the divine night showed up to this event to help celebrate 112 years of Kappa Alpha Psi There was an awesome disc jockey present and brothers thoroughly dancing through the night. The venders stayed around for a great portion of the night Brothers, and other Greeks present, engaged with the venders and purchased some nice paraphernalia.
