VISIONI Il Museo del Bijou di Casalmaggiore ha l’onore di ospitare la prima mostra personale dell’artista veneta Eleonora Battaggia, designer orafa che con il marchio “Caracol” ha saputo imporsi nel panorama italiano del gioiello contemporaneo risultando vincitrice in due categorie del concorso nazionale Bijoux d’Autore 2012 e seconda nell’edizione del 2011. Eleganza, stile, originalità sono le caratteristiche estetiche del lavoro di Eleonora Battaggia, cui si unisce il profondo senso etico-ecologico che connota la sua stessa vita privata: le sue creazioni si ispirano e promuovono la natura, il rispetto per ogni creatura vivente e per le risorse del pianeta, uno stile esistenziale sobrio e (de)ontologicamente attento alla Terra. Le sue “VISIONI IN MARGINE” sapranno raccontare queste esperienze di vita e di estro, e parlare a tutti i visitatori della mostra con il linguaggio, pulito e semplice, della bellezza.
The Bijou Museum of Casalmaggiore has the honor of hosting the first personal exhibition of the Venetian artist Eleonora Battaggia, jewelery designer that under the brand "Caracol" has established herself in the Italian panorama of contemporary jewelry resulting winner in two categories of the national competition Bijoux d'Autore 2012 and second in the 2011 edition. Elegance, style, and originality are the aesthetic characteristics of the work of Eleanora Battaggia, which combines the profound ethical and ecological sense that connotes her own private life: her creations are inspired by nature, and promote, respect for every living creature and the planet's resources, a style, sober and existential (de) ontologically attentive to the Earth. Her "VISIONS IN MARGIN" will recount these experiences of life and inspiration, and speak to all visitors of the exhibition with the language, clean and simple of the beauty.
iNMARGINE Eleonora Battaggia è nata a Mestre (Ve) nel 1964. Ha studiato presso l’Istituto Statale d’Arte di Venezia conseguendo diploma di Maestro d’Arte e Maturità d’Arte Applicata in Arte di Metalli e dell’Oreficeria, successivamente diploma di Qualifica Orafa e attestato di Qualifica Professionale Specializzazione di Incastonatura a Vicenza. Per alcuni anni è stata titolare del laboratorio orafo artigianale “Il Rubino” snc di Mogliano Veneto (Tv), poi per parecchi altri, insegnante di Laboratorio Orafo a Bassano del Grappa. Nel tempo, la scoperta e la consapevolezza dell’impatto dell’oreficeria sull’ambiente, sull’uomo e sugli animali, ha fatto si che Eleonora cercasse alternative valide per potersi esprimere, rispettando le proprie convinzioni e scelte di vita. Nel 2011 il progetto, studiato e sperimentato per molti anni, diventa realtà professionale, conseguentemente alle dimissioni dalla scuola e alla registrazione del marchio. Nasce così Caracol, progetto creativo/artistico di libertà espressiva, ricerca stilistica e di tecnica personale, come veicolo di idee da raccontare. Caracol OrnaMenti eco-contemporanei è realizzazione di complementi estetici per il corpo, non solo bijoux, non solo gioielli, ma OrnaMenti intesi nel senso primordiale dl termine, che raccontano di chi li realizza e di chi li indossa. Eco_contemporanei perché compatibili con l’ambiente e lo stile della vita degli esseri consapevoli del nostro tempo. Aspetto fondamentale è anche l’attenta anima Vegan con cui Eleonora sceglie i materiali, che devono essere coerenti, ma anche indossabili e lavorabili secondo la sua espressività. Eleonora disegna, progetta e realizza l’intera produzione personalmente, interamente a mano, in modalità non seriale e quantità limitata. Vive e lavora a Preganziol (Tv).
Eleanora Battaggia was born in Mestre (Ve) in 1964. She studied at the Art Institute of Venice obtaining a diploma of Master of Art and Maturity of Applied Arts in Art of Metal and Goldsmith, after she got a diploma of Goldsmith qualification and certificate of Professional Qualification of Embedding Specialization in Vicenza. For some years she was the owner of the goldsmith's craft "The Ruby" snc in Mogliano Veneto (Tv), then for several years, she was lab Goldsmith teacher in Bassano del Grappa. Over time, the discovery and awareness of the impact that goldsmith has got on the environment, humans and animals, has meant that Eleanora tried alternatives in order to express, respecting their beliefs and lifestyle choices. In 2011, the project, designed and tested for many years ,became professional, reality consequently the resignation from the school and the registration of the trademark. Thus was born Caracol, creative/ artistic project of freedom of expression, stylistic research and personal technical, as a vehicle for ideas to tell. Caracol ornaments eco-contemporary is the realization of aesthetic additions to the body, not only bijoux, not only jewelry, but ornaments conceived in the primordial sense of the term, which tell of who created them and the wearer . Eco-contemporary because they are compatible with the environment and the style of life of conscious human beings of our time. A fundamental aspect is also the careful Vegan soul with whom Eleonora chooses the materials, which must be consistent, but also wearable and workable according to her expressiveness.
