FrequentlyAskedQuestions FAQ

How can my school participate in a PRA Campus Career Day?

To sign up, a school administrator must contact us by completing the inquiry and interest form on our website. Someone from our organization will reach out and schedule a time, date, number of participants, and to discuss logistics and scope of the experience.

We host Xperiences during the week and on Saturdays. Xperiences are not available on Sundays.

Currently, the school must also be located in the southeastern region with a focus on schools in the Georgia/Metro Atlanta area. It must be a middle school or high school as this program is for 6-12th graders. We hope to expand to schools out of state in the 2024-2025 calendar year.

How many scholars can participate in the program?

Our experiences are scalable and can accommodate as few as 15-50 students. The fewer students, the more intimate and immersive the learning environment will be allowing for more hands-on time per individual.

Does our school need to provide anything?

Yes. We ask the schools to provide at least 1 chaperone per 15 students. Additionally, schools may elect to waive the travel package* in lieu of adequate district provided arrangements.

We also ask that schools assist with having students fill out an online entrance survey at least 3-10 days prior to the Campus Career Day event taking place at your school. This will allow us to create a call sheet and assign roles to students in advance.

Power will also be a necessary requirement. We will travel with a small, portable generator as well that will need to be set up outdoors near an exit. For larger audiences, we may need to rent a small generator to power the amount of equipment needed.

A solid internet connection is preferred that does not have a firewall. Please let us know in advance if your internet system has firewalls/restrictions so we can provide our own alternative.

All students will need to be seated in chairs or bleachers during the presentation portion of the program.

FrequentlyAskedQuestions FAQ

How much space do you all require?

At a minimum, we will require at least 1,000 SF space for classes up to 25 students. This could be an empty classroom, portion of a library, or other flexible support space. For groups larger than 25, we recommend using the school cafeteria or gymnasium.

Please note that the larger the audience, the more equipment that will be needed to host a successful hands-on experience for all participants.

Once our truck is unloaded, equipment will be staged in a pile in the room or in the hallway. As part of the setup, students will assist with removing it from the pile and setting it up.

How do we book and how early in advance should we book?

To book a Campus Career Day Experience, visit our website at www.productionrockstaracademy.com or call 1-855-725-7871

We recommend reserving your experience at least 2-3 months in advance, however, there may be slots available with less notice. Reach out as soon as possible to check availability as we are currently able to offer one program per day.
