CANON PIXMA TR8620 WIRELESS HOME OFFICE ALL-IN-ONE PRINTER REVIEW The Canon Pixma TR8620 is an all-in-one inkjet printer that is particularly made for small businesses and home offices. Canon Pixma TR8620 does not stand well when it is compared to its predecessors. Yes, the photo quality is great and gives out some vibrant textures and nice detailing, but the color accuracy is just okay and not too promising like the other Canon Pixma printers. In Canon Pixma TR8620, the wireless connections are top-notch, thanks to the amazing Bluetooth support and the companionship of the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.

There are some user complaints that the black cartridge needs to be replaced often. The printing speed is so slow when it's compared to the other Canon Pixma printers. One major advantage is that the cartridges are easily affordable and offer a good value to printing in color.

The Canon Pixma TR8620 has a 20-sheet ADF that will allow you to send multipage documents to the scanner, so it doesn't need to be done manually. If you are scanning a 2sided document, you have to flip and put it back for the second side.

DESIGN The Canon Pixma TR8620 printer has a fair build and a good outer design. The body of the printer is entirely plastic and you will feel the scanner lid and parts of the printer a little loose (because of the plastic). It can also help in clearing paper jams. Unfortunately, after using Canon Pixma TR8620 for a long period, the touchscreen gets unresponsive at times.

SCANNER The scanner is one big plus for the Canon Pixma TR8620 printer. But on the downside, it does lack duplex scanning, so you have to flip the double-sided documents. For office use, there is integrated fax. The scan resolution is 600 DPI and you can boost this up to 1200 DPI from the Control Panel or using the Canon IJ Scan Utility app.

CARTRIDGES The Canon Pixma TR8620 printer comes with a total of 5 cartridges (2 black and three color ones). As mentioned earlier, black ink often gets replenished and needs to be replaced. On the other hand, the color cartridges give out good value. You can also use third-party ink cartridges, but this will only tamper your chance for a warranty replacement.
