Step into the heartbeat of life with Pulse: Dance Showcase 2025, a dynamic dance performance that explores rhythm, energy, and the intricate web of human connection. This collection of pieces celebrates the pulse of dance itself its spontaneity, creativity, and raw physicality—inviting audiences to reconnect with their own emotions and movement.

Drawing from a rich tapestry of musical and cultural influences, Pulse pays tribute to the diverse rhythms that shape our shared world. Through powerful choreography, the performance navigates the highs and lows of human relationships, revealing how our connections can create harmony or discord. Pulse is both a celebration and a reflection, urging us all to feel the rhythm that binds us together.

This year, the Year 12 Dance class was fortunate to have worked with nationally and internationally regarded dancer and choreographer Laura Boynes.

The PLC Dance Company, have had the opportunity to work with two incredible choreographers over the last semester including Kesh Olivierre and Tom Leo. They have created two striking and inspiring pieces that have really pushed the dancers. We would also like to acknowledge the choreographic contribution of Hannah Leo and Rylee Hollis who have created exciting and challenging works with the PLC Dance Collective.

The PLC Dance Department is proud to present Pulse.
