OUR MISSION IN LIFE(STYLE)

BY SARAH O’DONNELL, MANAGER OF LIFESTYLE SERVICES

It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as the newest member of the Power Ranch lifestyle team. I joined the team at the end of December, closing out what was such a difficult year for so many with excitement and a grateful heart. I’ve been asked by many what interested me in the job; the answer is simple. The reputation of “community” at Power Ranch is well known across the East Valley and I was excited for the opportunity to continue to develop that community pride and create experiences and memories for residents to cherish for a lifetime. I live in the Chandler area with my husband, two children and golden retriever and have a great appreciation for a supportive and thriving community. With over 18 years in hospitality and corporate events, I’m excited to bring that experience along with my passion for unforgettable experiences to the community where I can engage with residents on a daily basis. I am inspired by one of my favorite quotes from the great Maya Angelou, “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and style.” My intention is to use this to guide us in the experiences we create for the community. I invite you to call me at 480-988-0960, write to me at sodonnell@ccmcnet.com, or drop by our office to say hello. I sincerely appreciate those that have already provided such a warm welcome. I’m proud to call Power Ranch my new home (away from home).

DISCOVER THE NATURAL HEALING POWER OF YOGA

BY NICOLE FONOVICH, M.Ed., R.Y.T.

If there’s one thing to know about yoga, it’s this: You do not have to be slim, trim, and super-flexible to enjoy yoga. I was drawn to yoga because I was born with a weak back and learning yoga helped me to fight back and make the rest of my body as strong as I could make it. Nine surgeries later, I can tell you that yoga has made it possible for me to work through my depression surrounding my back issue and has helped me successfully and naturally manage my pain. There have been periods in my life when I wasn’t able to do any physical activity at all and I also learned to explore sound healing and meditation as other powerful ways to gain strength and not feel pain. I am a graduate of the Southwest Institute of Holistic Arts in Tempe where I received my Holistic Practitioner degree. Instead of opening a typical brick-and-mortar yoga studio, I decided to start my own mobile company in 2017. I now have an incredible team of dozens of advancedcertified yoga instructors and holistic practitioners who travel directly to people inside their homes. My slogan is, “We bring the ZEN to you!” We offer private, customized sessions in: yoga, sound healing, personal training, nutrition coaching, massage therapy, hypnotherapy, and many other holistic modalities. We also offer yoga-themed bridal showers, bachelorette parties, ladies’ nights in, and travel to Airbnbs, VRBOs, hotels, offices, and outdoor settings. For more information or to book a session, call Nicole Anne Yoga & Holistic Wellness at (847) 840-7277 or visit www.NicoleAnneYoga.com
