ECAYLP inauguration held at Velammal
Velammal Main School, Mugappair campus inaugurated the ECAYLP on July 20. Mohamaad Ghibran (Indian film composer) was graced the occasion. Mega live musical concert performed by students expressed a Tamil culture and tradition in this event. Graduation was given for ECAYLP students. Eye catching Yoga demonstration and wide variety of cultural performances gave a feast for the audience.
Installation Ceremony of Lions Club of Chennai Mugalivakkam was conducted on 21st July 2018. It was named as ‘Mupperum Vizha”. The club launched a scheme for school children called ‘Karka Kasadara’ through which a neibourhood government school has been adopted. It honoured the rank-holders of Std 10 students who passed out last academic year. Teachers and students of primary section were also felicitated. Saplings of ten numbers were planted in the school premises by one of office bearers of the club. During the Vizha, new toilets for the physically challenged were inaugurated which was sponsored by one of the members of the club. The team’s family members participated in the function. PMJF Lion Dr.K.S. Babai who installed the team and other officers were present.
