Free medical health check-up camp held
In connection with 150th Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji, Multi Speciality free Medical health check-up camp was jointly organized by Tamilnadu Udavikkaram Association for the welfare of differently Abled(TNUAWDA) functioning at 9th Avenue, Ashok Nagar, Chennai and International foundation of peoples welfare and development(IFPWD),exclusively for differently abled persons and to their family members, on Oct.2 at Dr.MGR Janaki Matriculation School, Saligramam. Dr. S.Selvakumar (Assistant Commissioner of Police, Central crime branch, Vepery) was the chief guest and inaugurated the camp by honouring a Cerebral palsy affected differently abled boy with a shawl and a memento. State President T.A.P.Varadakutti,State General Secretary Aavin K.Gopinath,State treasurer M B.Nandakumar of TNUAWDA, Medical Superintendent Dr. N.JAMBU of Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Prof. A Kanagaraj, Chairman of Jaya Group of Institutions, Dr. Latha Rajendran, Principal of Dr.MGR Special School for hearing impaired, N Panchapakesan, Founder president of Chennai Sai group of Matrimonials, Dr.M.Arunkumar, Managing trustee of IFPWD and other dignitaries participated and graced the occasion.
