The Royal Odyssey project, by Rotary Club of Chennai Royals , Rotary District 3232, was flagged off recently by the Rotary District 3232 Governor, Rtn. Babu Peram, the Prince of Arcot, Rtn.Mohammed Abdul Ali and the CMD of Sri Krishna Sweets, Rtn. M. Murali. Royal Odyssey project is a road trip by three lady Rotarians, Rtn. Jeyalatha Martin, Rtn. Ruckmani Sekar, Rtn. Anu Ajay to create awareness on Road Safety.

A team of transgenders also travelled with the team and conducted road shows at traffic signals to impress upon people the importance and necessity to wear helmets and seat belts.

After the Royal Flag off at Sri Krishna Sweets, TNagar, the Rotary convoy with two cars adorned with Rotary logo , moved to Nandanam Signal to conduct a Roadshow.

The Police Commissoiner, Traffic Police and his team joined in the roadshow.

At both the Signals, Rotarians and friends stood across the road, holding placards and distributing bookmarks that has the road safety guidelines to all the people at the signal. When the Signal turned red, the transgenders dressed as hostesses acted out instructions regarding road safety in accordance to the recorded instructions that was played on the loud speaker.

The team sensitised people on road safety.

The Same road show was repeated at the Ega Theater Signal.

The Chennai Traffic police was very supportive for the Road Show.
