International talent search Olympiad for Maths, English, Aptitude and General Studies was conducted for Std.3 to Std.8 at Sri Chaitanya Techno School (Manapakkam) in the month of November and December. New millet health mix on sale

S.Vijayalakshmi (resident of LIG Flats, 7th Avenue, Ashok Nagar) prepares a health mix with millets like ‘varagu’, ‘thinai’, ‘samai’, ‘kuthiraivaali’, ‘kambu’, ‘cholam’ etc. The mix can be used to make porridge for breakfast. ‘Dosai’ and ‘adai’ can also be prepared using the mix.

Before starting this venture, Vijayalakshmi attended a training program on millet products conducted by Tamilnadu Agriculture University Information & Training Centre. She exhibits her product in ‘can bazaar’ in which women entrepreneurs sell their products.
