Flossenbürg, památník koncentračního tábora a zřícenina hradu C1

Zřícenina hradu založeného již kolem roku 1120 za účelem ochrany zemské stezky. Jeho jádro tvořila mohutná hranolová věž, obytný donjon typický pro francouzská opevněná sídla.

Ruine einer schon um 1120 zum Schutz des Landeswegs errichteten Burg. Ihren Kern bildete ein mächtiger, für französische befestigte Sitze typischer vierseitiger Wohnturm (Donjon).

Thirteen stops on this 9.5 km trail familiarize visitors of the history of the erstwhile glassmaking settlement Stará Knížecí Huť, of former local inhabitation and of local nature.

Naučná stezka Po zaniklých obcích Českého lesa D–F2–4 Tři trasy procházejí pohraničními oblastmi, které byly zrušeny kvůli vzniku tzv. železné opony. Místa více než 50 zaniklých osad označují tabulky s česko-německým textem.

Cesta brusičů skla, Glasschleifererweg, Georgenberg C1 Trasa začíná u starého mlýna Gehenhammer a spojuje řadu obcí, v jejichž historii hrála důležitou roli výroba skla a jeho zpracování.

Die Route beginnt an der alten Mühle Gehenhammer und verbindet mehrere Gemeinden, in deren Geschichte die Glaserzeugung und –bearbeitung eine wichtige Rolle gespielt haben.

The trail begins at the old mill of Gehenhammer and connects a series of villages, whose history is closely linked to glassmaking and its refinement.

Muzeum techniky a řemesel, Koloveč E4 Unikátní expozice s více než 6 000 předměty představuje všechna tradiční vesnická řemesla. Součástí muzea je hrnčířská dílna, v níž vzniká tradiční kolovečská keramika.

Die einzigartige Exposition mit über 6 000 Gegenständen stellt alle traditionellen dörflichen Handwerke vor. Zum Museum gehört eine Töpferwerkstatt, in der die traditionelle Kolovečer Keramik entsteht.

Zříceninu hradu, vybudovaného v 2. polovině 13. století pod názvem Hirschenstein a pobořeného začátkem 16. století, tvoří zbytky dvou věží, hradeb a příkopů. Daleký výhled.

Die Ruine einer in der 2. Hälfte des 13. Jh. unter dem Namen Hirschenstein erbauten und zu Beginn des 16. Jh. teilweise zerstörten Burg bilden Reste von zwei Türmen, Wehrmauern und Gräben. Weite Aussicht.

Castle ruin built in the latter-13th century under the name Hirschenstein and razed at the start of the 16th century, with remains of two towers, walls and trenches. Distant vista.

Peat bog with rare flora and fauna, protected as a nature reserve since 1975, accessible by nature trail leading along a boardwalk.

Haltrava a Skalky na Sádku E3 Přes vrch Haltrava (881 m) a po stejnojmenném hřebeni vede červeně značená Baarova stezka. PP Skalky na Sádku ochraňuje skalnaté útvary a původní bučiny. Über den Berg Haltrava (881 m) und den gleichnamigen Kamm führt der rot markierte Baar-Pfad. Der Naturpark „Felsen auf dem Sádek“ schützt Felsformationen und ursprüngliche Buchenwälder.

The red-marked Baar Trail leads over the top of Haltrava (881 m ASL) and along the ridge by the same name. NP Skalky na Sádku protects rock formations and original beech forests.

Statek, na němž se narodil Jan Sladký Kozina, je upraven na malé muzeum zaměřené na rebelii Chodů, rod Sladkých a národopis. Socha Koziny od Čeňka Vosmíka nad vsí.

Der Bauernhof, auf dem Jan Sladký Kozina geboren wurde, ist zu einem kleinen Museum umgestaltet worden, das auf die Rebellion der Choden, das Geschlecht der Sladký und die Volkskunde ausgerichtet ist. KozinaSkulptur von Čeněk Vosmík oberhalb des Dorfes.

Falkenberg B1 Hrad založený zřejmě již v 11. století patřil dlouho klášteru Waldsassen, za třicetileté války byl pobořen a obnoven byl až v letech 1936–1939. Dnes kulturní centrum města.

Die offensichtlich schon im 11. Jh. errichtete Burg gehörte lange dem Kloster Waldsassen. Im Dreißigjährigen Krieg wurde sie teilweise zerstört und erst in den Jahren 1936–1939 wieder aufgebaut. Heute ist sie ein Kulturzentrum der Stadt.

Castle roughly from the 11th century belonging for ages to the Waldsassen monastery, razed during the Thirty Years War and not restored until 1936-39. Today the city‘s cultural center.

Součástí expozice umístěné v někdejším sídle Černínů je prohlídka tzv. Andělského pokoje a černé kuchyně. Další expozice je věnována životu a dílu Josefa Dobrovského, jenž zde působil jako vychovatel černínských dětí, a jiným osobnostem spojeným s Chudenicemi.

Bestandteil der im einstigen Sitz der Czernins untergebrachten Exposition ist die Besichtigung des sog. Engelszimmers und der schwarzen Küche. Eine weitere Exposition ist dem Leben und Werk von Josef Dobrovský, der hier als Erzieher der Kinder der Czernins gewirkt hat, und anderen mit Chudenice verbundenen Persönlichkeiten gewidmet.

This exhibit located in the erstwhile seat of the Černíns includes a tour of the so-called Angel’s Room and black kitchen. Another exhibit deals with the life and work of Josef Dobrovský, who taught the Černín children here, and with other personalities associated with Chudenice.

Hauswaldská kaple, Srní C2 Výjimečné poutní místo opředené legendami o zázraku uzdravení, nazývané též „šumavské lurdy“, tvořila od roku 1820 kaple postavená v blízkosti pramene s léčivou vodou. Roku 1957 byla kaple zbořena a její základy byly roku 2005 spolu s pramenem nově upraveny.

Den ungewöhnlichen von Legenden über das Wunder der Genesung umsponnenen Wallfahrtsort, der auch das „Lourdes des Böhmerwalds“ genannt wird, bildete seit 1820 eine in der Nähe einer Quelle mit heilkräftigem Wasser erbaute Kapelle. 1957 wurde die Kapelle abgerissen, und ihre Fundamente wurden 2005 zusammen mit der Quelle neu hergerichtet.

This unique place of pilgrimage steeped in legends of miraculous healing, referred to as the Šumava Lourdes, includes the 1820 chapel nearby a healing water spring. The chapel was torn down in 1957, and its foundations and spring were restored in 2005.

Jezero Laka C2 S 2,53 ha nejmenší a s nadmořskou výškou 1 096 m nejvýše položené ledovcové šumavské jezero se rozkládá pod horou Plesná. Pohyblivé ostrůvky na hladině.

Mit 2,53 ha der kleinste und mit der Meereshöhe von 1 096 m der höchstgelegene Gletschersee des Böhmerwalds liegt unterhalb des Berges Plesná (Lackenberg). Schwimmende Inseln auf dem Wasserspiegel.

At 2.53 ha, it is the Šumava‘s smaller and highest elevated lake (1,096 m ASL), lying under Plesná Mountain. Moving river islands.

Prášilské jezero C2 Ledovcové jezero o rozloze 3,7 ha leží na severním svahu Poledníku v nadmořské výšce 1 080 m. Na hrázi pomníček na památku Ottokara Kareise, utonulého roku 1927.

Glacial lake 3.7 ha in size lying on the northern slope of Poledník at 1,080 m ASL. The shore has a monument to Ottokar Kareis, who drowned here in 1927. Stálá expozice je věnovaná skřítkům, strašidlům a pohádkovým bytostem Šumavy. Součástí areálu je pohádková stezka, dětský ateliér, minigolf, miniatura hradu Troškov a další atrakce.

V zimním období jsou zde v provozu dvě sjezdovky a snowpark, v létě lanové centrum s dvěma okruhy, tratě pro nemotorizované slalomové káry a trampolínové centrum.

In der Wintersaison sind hier zwei Pisten und ein Snowpark in Betrieb, im Sommer ein Seilpark mit zwei Parcours, Strecken für motorlose Slalom-Karts und ein Trampolinzentrum.

Two downhill ski slopes and a snow park operate here in the winter. In summer, visitors enjoy the rope center with two circuits, non-motorized go-cart slalom course and trampoline center.

Expozice v prostorách městského úřadu představuje dřevěné lidové hračky regionálního původu, které se tradičně vyráběly až do druhé světové války v nedalekém Skašově.

Die Ausstellung in den Räumen des Stadtamtes stellt hölzerne volkstümliche Spielzeuge mit regionalem Ursprung vor, die traditionell bis zum Zweiten Weltkrieg im nahe gelegenen Skašov hergestellt wurden.

Exhibits share the history of Czech puppetry and work by its main contributors. It is the country‘s only museum to showcase the Czech circus phenomenon.

Die hölzerne Wallfahrtskapelle der Jungfrau Maria ist ein einzigartiges Beispiel der Volksbaukunst und Schnitzerei. The wooden pilgrimage Chapel of the Virgin Mary is a fine example of folk architecture and wood carving. It stands above the rock formation Stožecká skála over the town of Stožec, whose infocenter has a popular attraction - an exhibit of the Eurasian elk found here around Lipno.

Plešné jezero a Plechý E3–4 Plechý dosahující nadmořské výšky 1 378 m je nejvyšší horou Šumavy. Pod ním leží ledovcové Plešné jezero (1 090 m) s rozlohou 7,48 ha a karovou stěnou o výšce 260 m.

Das in der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jh. errichtete Sägewerk wurde 1912 zu einem Wasserkraftwerk umgebaut. In der Nähe entstand außerdem das Wasserkraftwerk Vydra, heute mit einer Exposition „Energie des Böhmerwalds“.

The Velhartice mechanical nativity scene is displayed in the shop of Šumava woodcarver Karel Tittl. It measures 4 x 2.5 x 1.2 m and has nearly 70 figures inspired by the 14th century.
