Will there be a new roundabout at the intersection of Womma and Stebonheath Roads? The Department for Infrastructure and Transport which is responsible for the care and control of the Stebonheath/Womma Road intersection will be developing a roundabout here. The project is expected to start in early 2021. Learn more at: dit.sa.gov.au/infrastructure/road_projects

How do I apply to mow my own verge? We certainly encourage and appreciate you to maintain your own verge. To do this you’ll need to read the landscaping guidelines and submit an application. Depending on your location, the application may require an inspection. If approved, a green marker is installed on your kerb which lets us know not to weed-spray or mow it. For more information visit: playford.sa.gov.au/verges

Why is there tape around hard waste? Items left on a kerb or in any public area is considered illegal dumping, which is a serious offence and can attract an on-the-spot fine of up to $1,000 and in some cases, court action. We tape off illegal dumping in residential areas to allow time to make contact with the person who left it and avoid a fine.
