For people living with disability interested in
Welcome to the Positive Futures Expo 2025! Here, we share stories of empowerment and opportunity. This longstanding, yearly event is all about helping people living with disability find their path to success.
At the expo, you’ll find lots of different resources and services all in one place, so everyone can get the info they need to make their lives better.
The expo is here to help guide you in practical ways. Whether you’re discovering your strengths, interests, or career options, we’re like a helpful guide pointing you in the right direction.
This expo wouldn’t be possible without teamwork. We work closely with local
businesses, schools, and the community to make sure we offer the best support and advice to everyone who attends.
We’re also inspired by the Playford Community Vision for 2043, which aims to make our community prosperous, livable, and happy.
By offering opportunities for learning and growth, we’re helping to make this vision a reality.
So, as you explore the expo, remember to dream big! Whether you’re looking for a job, new friends, or just a sense of belonging, we’re here to help.
Together, we can create a future full of possibilities.

I am Pete, business owner and head baker at just 18 years old. I love to cook, it makes me happy and enables me to have a job, ‘despite my disabilities I too can have a job like anyone else’.
I am very excited to have my own business and that people want to try my food. Baking makes me happy and lets me and my team explore our creativity in making cakes, cupcakes and slices that people enjoy. I am supported in my business by family, friends and my mentors. I bake to order. I currently run my business
Monday, Wednesday and Friday and on other days as needed.
In my spare time I play basketball for the Special Olympics and in 2022 was selected for Team SA to participate at Nationals in Launceston in October 2022.
I also love to travel, explore and taste foods from around the world. Contact us and me and my team will do our best to fulfill and deliver (if needed) your order.
