What’s on your mind
Here are some of the most reported and searched items and frequently asked questions from our community in the past couple of months.
Will there be a new roundabout at the intersection of Womma and Stebonheath Roads?
The Department for Infrastructure and Transport which is responsible for the care and control of the Stebonheath/Womma Road intersection will be developing a roundabout here. The project is expected to start in early 2021. Learn more at: dit.sa.gov.au/infrastructure/road_projects
How do I apply to mow my own verge?
We certainly encourage and appreciate you to maintain your own verge. To do this you’ll need to read the landscaping guidelines and submit an application. Depending on your location, the application may require an inspection. If approved, a green marker is installed on your kerb which lets us know not to weed-spray or mow it. Why is there tape around hard waste?
Items left on a kerb or in any public area is considered illegal dumping, which is a serious offence and can attract an on-the-spot fine of up to $1,000 and in some cases, court action. We tape off illegal dumping in residential areas to allow time to make contact with the person who left it and avoid a fine. Further information available at:
