Il Gruppo Armani ha aperto la sua prima boutique Giorgio Armani a Porto Cervo, situata lungo La Passeggiata che si affaccia sulla piazzetta principale. Il concept del negozio, unico nel suo genere, è stato appositamente studiato da Giorgio Armani con il suo team di architetti e si inserisce nel contesto architettonico dell’edificio esistente, denominato Il Leccio, con il tipico portico antistante. La boutique, la cui apertura segue il ritmo stagionale, si distingue per la presenza del motivo stilizzato di palme blu e oro chiaro. L’ambiente è illuminato anche dalla luce naturale proveniente dalle tre vetrine che lasciano intravedere l’interno del negozio e animato dalle immagini delle collezioni che scorrono sul videowall posizionato all’ingresso. Il punto vendita ospita collezioni di abbigliamento, accessori e occhiali donna e uomo, la collezione di alta gioielleria e il corner dedicato alle fragranze Armani Privé. The Armani Group has opened its first Giorgio Armani boutique in Porto Cervo, located in La Passeggiata, which faces the resort’s main square. The unique concept design of the store has been specially studied by Giorgio Armani in collaboration with his team of architects and fits perfectly into the architectural context of the existing building, called Il Leccio, with the typical portico in front. The boutique, whose opening follows the seasonal rhythm, is characterised by the presence of the stylised pattern of blue and light gold palms. The detail is also present on the tables dotting the space, on the display elements, as a furnishings background, and on the windows, creating a visual connection between interior and exterior. The store houses clothing, accessories and glasses collections for men and women, the fine jewellery collection and an area dedicated to Armani Privé fragrances.

Il 2022 sarà un anno davvero speciale. Perché oltre ai 60 anni dalla nascita della Costa Smeralda e ai cento dall’autonomia di Arzachena, ci sarà da festeggiare anche un altro importante traguardo storico: i 50 anni dall’inaugurazione del campo del Pevero Golf Club. Era il 1972, infatti, quando questo sport sbarcò per la prima volta in Sardegna portando sull’isola un nuovo concetto di turismo sportivo. Il merito, come del resto per tutto ciò che è stato poi realizzato in Costa Smeralda, fu del principe Karim Aga Khan che ingaggiò l’architetto numero uno al mondo per campi da golf: Robert Trent Jones. Il fine era quello di disegnare uno dei Green più belli al mondo incastonato tra il golfo del Pevero e la baia di Cala di Volpe.

2022 will be a remarkable year: in addition to the 60 years since the birth of the Costa Smeralda and the hundred years since the municipal autonomy of Arzachena, there will also be another important historic milestone: the 50 years since the inauguration of the Pevero Golf Club course. It was 1972 when this sport landed for the first time in Sardinia, bringing to the island a new concept of sports tourism. The credit, as well as for everything later achieved in Costa Smeralda, was of Prince Aga Khan, who hired the world’s first architect for golf courses: Robert Trent Jones. The aim was to draw one of the most beautiful greens in the world nestled between the Gulf of Pevero and the bay of Cala di Volpe.

Il piccolo borgo di San Pantaleo , incastonato tra le montagne granitiche del massiccio di Cugnana, ogni giovedì mattina fino alle 14.00, da maggio a ottobre, diventa il centro del mondo grazie al suo famoso mercatino artistico. Attorno al piazzale della chiesa e tra le viuzze del paese, stanno in bella mostra bancarelle cariche di prodotti tipici, dolci, vini e formaggi della regione. Ma non solo, perché qui sono presenti anche piccole botteghe dove acquistare creazioni in ferro battuto e ceramica di artisti e artigiani locali. Con le sue colorate esposizioni di abiti esotici, tessuti e pizzi antichi, il mercatino di San Pantaleo è sempre più capace di attirare un pubblico vasto ed eterogeneo. The small village of San Pantaleo, set in the granite mountains of the Cugnana massif, represents the cherry on top of Gallura’s panorama. Every Thursday morning until 2 pm, from May to October, its streets teem with tourists, travellers and curious because local artists and artisans set up an art market amid Sardinian scents, sounds and a riot of colours. Around the church square and in the alleys, stalls full of typical products, sweets, wines, and cheeses of the region are on display. Small shops where to buy wrought iron creations, ceramics and much more from local artists and artisans are also located right here. With its colourful displays of exotic dresses, ancient fabrics and laces, and products of skilful craftmanship cultivated with love, the village is undoubtedly able to attract an increasingly large audience.

Dopo le Cinque Vele, massimo riconoscimento conferito da Legambiente e Touring Club Italiano al comprensorio “Baronia di Posada”, il mare di Budoni riceve la Bandiera Blu. La località è caratterizzata da una spiaggia di sabbia rosata incuneata in una insenatura di roccia, bagnata da un mare limpidissimo e dal fondale sabbioso e leggermente degradante verso fondali multicolori. Una punta di diamante di un patrimonio molto ampio di spiagge che costituiscono il litorale budonese, sul quale ci si può spostare anche grazie a una fitta rete di mezzi pubblici e monopattini in sharing.

After Le Cinque Vele award, the highest recognition given by Legambiente and the Italian Touring Club to the “Baronia di Posada” area, the sea of Budoni receives the Blue Marina Awards. A beach characterises this town with pink sand wedged in a rocky bay, a crystal-clear sea and a sandy sea floor slightly degrading towards a multicoloured seabed. It is the jewel in the crown of a vast heritage of beaches that make up the coastline of Budoni, which also enjoys a dense network of public transport and scooter sharing.

Il Comune di Arzachena ha predisposto il calendario degli eventi estivi con oltre 60 giorni di appuntamenti da giugno a ottobre dell’Arzachena Summer Festival. Tra i grandi eventi uno dei concerti della XXXV edizione del Festival Internazionale Time in Jazz con l’esibizione della Sudoku Killer, band guidata dalla contrabbassista Caterina Palazzi e il Festival internazionale Isole che parlano per l’anteprima della XXVI edizione alla tomba dei giganti di Coddu Ecchju. Per animare l’intero territorio tornano anche l’Italia Polo Challenge Porto Cervo, il festival musicale Sette Not(t)e, il Cinema in piazza, il Silent Festival con le serate sul mare di Silent disco, le Notti bianche nel borgo di Cannigione e nel centro storico, gli Incontri con l’autore a Baja Sardinia, le serate con musica e fuochi d’artificio di Ferragosto a Baja Sardinia e Cannigione, le sagre dei piatti tipici galluresi, la X edizione del Rally terra Sarda e la III edizione del torneo Beach volley Time with Stars. Il 2022 vanta un calendario ricchissimo di regate di livello internazionale organizzate da YCCS, il club voluto dal principe Karim Aga Kahn. Se luglio e agosto sono tradizionalmente riservati ai soci del club, con la Coppa Europa Smeralda 888 e il Campionato sociale, settembre si conferma mese delle “big boats”, con la Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup (edizione 32) seguita dal raduno mondiale delle barche Swan, che porterà a Porto Cervo una flotta di oltre 100 imbarcazioni. Tra la Maxi e la Rolex Swan Cup, l’inserimento di una nuova regata di altura tra Porto Cervo e Monaco, con cui lo YCCS è gemellato da oltre 20 anni. Tra gli eventi anche la regata d’altura Palermo-Porto CervoMontecarlo a fine agosto, e il supporto all’Accademia Navale di Livorno e all’omonimo Yacht Club in occasione della Ran 630, una regata di altura di oltre 600 miglia. 2022 boasts a vibrant calendar of world-class races organised by the YCCS club wanted by Prince Karim Aga Kahn. I sessant’anni dalla nascita di una delle destinazioni turistiche internazionali più esclusive, celebrati con una mostra di foto, documenti e video all’Art-Port Gallery dell’Aeroporto di Olbia, al primo piano delle aree partenze e inaugurata lunedì 13 giugno. “Happy Birthday Costa Smeralda” raccoglie foto, documenti e video per celebrare l’eredità culturale della Costa Smeralda. Le immagini, provenienti dall’archivio del fotografo Nello Di Salvo (@Coast Magazine), del Consorzio, dello YCCS e dell’architetto Enzo Satta, restituiscono il passaggio dai toni del bianco e nero dei primi anni Sessanta con la creazione di un modello, uno stile e un linguaggio architettonico unico, che ha portato nel mondo il marchio e il nome di “Costa Smeralda”, ai colori brillanti e vividi degli ultimi 10 anni. Nel mese di luglio “Happy Birthday Costa Smeralda” sarà spostata al piano terra.

The sixtieth anniversary of the birth of one of the most exclusive international tourist destinations was celebrated with an exhibition of photos, documents, and videos at the ArtPort Gallery of Olbia Airport, on the first floor of the departure areas. Inside the exhibition, a collection of photos, documents, and videos celebrate the cultural heritage of the Costa Smeralda. The images, coming from the archive of the photographer Nello Di Salvo (@Coast Magazine), the Consortium, the YCCS, and the architect Enzo Satta, convey - as in a dream - the transition from the black/white tones of the early 1960s (with the creation of a model, a style and a unique architectural language, which has brought the brand and the name of “Costa Smeralda” into the world), to the bright and vivid colours of the last ten years. In July, “Happy Birthday Costa Smeralda” will be moved to the ground floor.

In Sardegna, e in particolare nel Golfo Aranci, è molto facile avvistare i delfini Tursiopi e i Stenella striati. Tra le tante località di avvistamento, al nord spiccano la zona di Alghero con l’Area Marina protetta di Capo Caccia e Isola Piana, il Golfo Aranci e Stintino. Anche l’arcipelago della Maddalena è un buon punto di osservazione, così come la Costa Smeralda, con in testa le coste di Olbia e Porto Cervo. Sono moltissime le escursioni organizzate dai tour operator nelle acque del Golfo Aranci, un luogo davvero privilegiato dai delfini. Da questa lingua di terra, la cui punta estrema è Capo Figari, partono le escursioni in barca all’insegna del dolphinwatching. Durante la gita è possibile ammirare anche le isolette di Tavolara e Molara.

In Sardinia, particularly in the Golfo Aranci, it is pretty easy to spot dolphins. The species usually encountered are the Tursiopes and the Striped dolphins. In the north, there are many places where it is possible to observe dolphins in the wild: the area of Alghero with the Marine Protected Area of Capo Caccia and Isola Piana, the Golfo Aranci and the beautiful marine resort of Stintino. The Maddalena archipelago is also a good observation point, as Costa Smeralda is, with the coasts of Olbia and Porto Cervo in the lead. Tour operators organise many excursions to spot dolphins in their natural habitat, particularly in the waters of the Golfo Aranci, where those mammals like to get noticed.

Nei quattro punti cardinali del borgo e del porto di Porto Rotondo, con il patrocinio del Comune di Olbia, in collaborazione con il Consorzio di Porto Rotondo, la Fondazione PortoRotondo, lo Yacht Club e la Marina, è in mostra l’installazione d’arte urbana del maestro Marco Nereo Rotelli, costituita da quattro grandi opere di libri in marmo di Carrara, che rappresenta il dialogo più profondo tra uomo e natura, attraverso le citazioni scolpite nel marmo di celebri poeti e autori di fama internazionale. Comunicare cultura accompagnando visitatori, armatori e collezionisti è la mission di Porto Rotondo per l’estate 2022, per coniugare i valori del mare unitamente all’arte e alla joie de vivre. In mostra dal 14 giugno al 20 ottobre 2022. Da segnalare Le Voci della Lirica Internazionale, la grande artista Amii Stewart ad agosto tra gli ospiti della serata di celebrazione della festa dei 60 anni nella piazzetta principale di Porto Cervo e Aka7 e Myss Keta per i più giovani. A luglio sarà inoltre presentato un libro dedicato alla Costa Smeralda pubblicato dalla prestigiosa casa editrice Assouline di New York.
