Celebrating Our Retirees

Three beautiful educators retired this year from Phoenix Christian. Combined, these educators represent 128 years of experience and wisdom, thousands of lives impacted, and three shining examples of living curriculum.

MRS. JAIME ROSS has served as a Christ-centered educator for 40 years, including 20 of those years serving on the Phoenix Christian faculty. Each of us will always remember our Kindergarten teacher. Her unwavering care for the personal growth and wellbeing of each student is a beautiful embodiment as if Jesus were living her life.

MRS. RUTH ZAPPE has served as a Christ-centered educator for 45 years, serving three Christian Schools. God brought the right person at the right time to our Elementary School. Her unwavering determination to trust in our Lord, leaning not into her own understanding, has inspired her guidance of three Christian schools and is a beautiful embodiment as if Jesus were living her life.

MRS. JAN WOLFE has served as a Christ-centered educator for 43 years-with all those years with Phoenix Christian. Her unwavering celebration of beauty, Godbreathed creativity, loving presence to students, and steading presence (through many challenging seasons) to new teachers and administrators is a beautiful embodiment as if Jesus were living her life.
