About People Tree People Tree is the pioneer of Fair Trade and sustainable fashion, championing traditional handskills. We work with 50 Fair Trade groups of organic cotton farmers and artisans in 8 countries around the world, providing some of the world’s most marginalized communities with a sustainable living. We use carbon neutral, organic cotton and handwoven fabrics and embellish them using hand screen and hand block printing as well as hand embroidery. Spring - Summer 2015 People Tree’s Spring Summer 2015 collection reflects a relaxed lifestyle with a naturally soft colour palette of antique pink, evergreen and navy. This season’s prints in organic cotton poplin and organic jersey, reflect contemporary abstract designs whilst still drawing inspiration from nature. Our hand block prints are ethnic inspired in feminine ruffle blouses and tunic dress shapes. New stripes in double faced navy, Oak Leaf and Nero adorn our relaxed shapes, perfect for layering at the weekend or by the pool. Drawstring and gathered waists are key details on trousers, skirts and dresses and rolled up hems on trousers and sleeves all add to an easy tailored look. New shapes for this season include maxi dresses, our first ever organic parka jacket and a tailored, hand woven coat. The award winning ethical fashion brand For Lucy Embroidered Dress, see page 27
