... supports over 40,000 organic and Fairtrade farmers in India and has partnered with People Tree for over 10 years. The organic and Fairtrade certified cotton grown by Agrocel farmers is transformed into beautiful clothing by Assisi Garments in Southern India.
ARTISAN HUT
... works with over 250 artisans in rural areas such as Narshingdi and Jhenaidha. By focusing on traditional hand skills, like hand weaving, block printing and hand embroidery, a huge number of people can benefit from making clothes, that otherwise would not.
CREATIVE HANDICRAFTS
... is a social enterprise working to empower disadvantaged women of the slum communities of Mumbai through economic independence. Many of the hundreds of women who work for Creative Handicrafts are the main bread winners for their families.
KUMUDINI
... is a social business in Bangladesh. People Tree partners with Kumudini to make gorgeous hand block printed and hand embroidered dresses and tops, reviving traditional skills to make unique contemporary designs.

... is based in Kolkata and has production units in Kolkata and Delhi, India. The organisation was set up in 1934, and they are a pioneer in organic garment manufacturing in India seeking to combine high quality tailoring with a fair deal for farmers and workers,

... is based in South India. Assisi Garments makes many of People Tree’s most popular jersey garments in soft organic and Fairtrade certified cotton, from dresses to leggings to t-shirts.
BOMBOLULU ... Workshops is a Fair Trade social business in Mombassa, Kenya. They create beautiful handmade jewellery in brass and silver plate, providing support for physicallychallenged people and encouraging sustainable development in Kenya.
KTS
... is based in Kathmandu, Nepal. Kumbeshwar Technical School (KTS) employs 2,273 artisans who produce a collection of hand knitted and embroidered cardigans, jumpers & accessories for People Tree. Artisans are mostly women who work part time and, as they mostly work from home, are able to look after their children at the same time.
MANDALA
... is an ethical enterprise based in Pondicherry, South India. They manufacture a wide range of woven and knitted clothing and accessories and are proud that 90% of their in-house production is in certified organic cotton.
TARA
... stands for Trade, Alternative, Reform and Action. The artisans who work with TARA Projects in Delhi, India and the surrounding villages, make a collection of delicate, beautiful jewellery and crafts for People Tree.
