Give the gift of fitness! Gift Certificates are available for purchase in all denominations.

When Peachland faces challenge or adversity – Peachlanders come together. For 2017, we challenged organizations to embrace the Canada 150 theme and to really celebrate as a community. Every organization imbedded the theme of Canada 150 into their activities and events. Our MP Dan Albas and MLA Dan Ashton both commented that they had not seen this kind of engagement throughout our region. Peachlanders always rise to a challenge. As well, in 2017, we survived a once in 200 year flood and yet we still hosted one of the best Canada Days! Peachland is famous for coming together, working together and celebrating together. Mayor and Council wish to recognize those of you who make Peachland a better place. On March 2, we will be hosting the annual volunteer breakfast. For more details see p. 27.

As we head into the holidays, exercise often takes a back seat. Before you sit down to the amazing indulgences of the season, why not incorporate some movement into your celebration! The Community Centre is open until December 22nd for fitness, Pickleball and Open Gym. Centennial Way is open (be prepared for snow and ice) and our mountains are a treasure for snow shoeing, winter hiking and cross country skiing. Starting on January 2nd, we will be ready to help you with the most common New Year’s Resolutions – get in shape; stop procrastinating; improve concentration; reduce stress; live a happier life; improve sleep; meet new people; and become more active. If any of these things are on your list….have a look through the guide and try something new! If you are new to our fitness programs or fitness room, your first day is always FREE! We hope you will come by to give us a try!
