The second season of the cruise port “Amber Cove” in the Bay of Maimón, west of Puerto Plata, now is over. His family had to leave Haiti in 1963 under the dictatorship of François Duvalier. After the earthquake in 2010, Haiti descended into chaos. Vicente Luis García Guillén was born in Santo Domingo on the 30th of March 1983 into a family of artists. His father comes from a family with classical pianists, his mother is a sculptor. At the age of twelve, Vicente stole a classical guitar from an aunt and started to play and compose. At home there was heared music of Herbie Hancock or Peter Gabriel.
