Thanks for taking the time to review our sale catalog. We’re proud of the bulls we’re offering at the Basin Bull Sale this year. They’re thick, structurally sound and uniform from the top end to the bottom.

What’s more, they each come from a dam that you’d be excited to have as the paternal grand dam to your next batch of replacement heifers. We’ve been raising registered Angus cattle since 1969 and have always believed that the advantage of our breed lies in the superiority of the Angus female. Consequently, we strive to stack in our pedigrees generations of individuals with bred in maternal quality or in other words the kind of cows that will keep you in the business. We also believe that alot of the selection pressure being placed on the Angus breed as a whole today is antiethical to making a maternal, productive cow herd. Broadback and Wideback Jack lineage both decend from the same originating cow. We felt she was a superior cow in our herd and wanted to propegate her influence. BAR Broadback 928 is the maternal grand sire to several of the bulls selling.

Cow Maker. Maternal grand sire to several of the bulls selling, his daughters have tight utters with short teats and give ample milk.

Dark Canyon sons will fix what’s wrong with your cow herd. Thier daughters will be good uddered, easy fleshing, and fertile, and what’s more you wont need to own a feed wagon to support them. That’s the way angus cows are supposed to be.

We chose to use OCC Boulder in our M line of cattle with his maternal pedigree in mind. He was a direct son of PBC 707 1M F0203 with F0203 also being his maternal great grandsire. The next bull back on his dams side was Rito N Bar. F0203 is the bull that Ohldes infuse in their bloodlines over and over. These bulls daughters will be easy fleshing and good uddered.
