Walker, who served for some 25 years was seeking a seventh term with the backing of local Democratic leaders, was outpolled by former city Councilwoman Deborah Reynolds with 2,408 or 53% of the votes cast. The City Controller congratulated Reynolds and noted she (Walker) served the City of

George Latimer won Westchester County's Democratic Party primary for county executive, cruising to victory on Tuesday over Ken Jenkins.
In the White Plains mayoral Democratic primary, incumbent Mayor Tom Roach handily defeated challenger Milagros Lecuona. As of late Tuesday night, unofficial tallies from the Westchester Board of Elections had Roach with 2,111 votes to Lecuona’s 785, with 76 percent of districts.
