Welcome to January… O.K. so by now we all should have closed the chapter of 2010 and eagerly look forward to starting a new chapter in 2011. Last year was a hard year for many of us, but with the right mindset we have been able to overcome many challenges. As a nation we were able to overcome Social Disasters, Natural Disasters and even the aftershocks of the Financial Crisis. And many people ask me… is this financial crisis over now? My answer... Who knows? We may have not even seen the full impact here in Australia and maybe we never will.
What counts is that in 2011 you need to make your No. 1 focus to bring prosperity into your life. Whatever crisis the world has seen there has always been rich and poor people throughout these times. Right now your destiny is in your hands. You can decide to spend money on things now and live it up while we are in prosperous times, and this is completely fine. But the people who will be prosperous no matter what the financial world has in store are those that invest into their prosperity for the future. These people find a financial vehicle, and use this to attract wealth and abundance into their lives. These kinds of people take action on the points and information given in this newsletter… and it’s these people that have followed through with the Goal Setting module, which I released last month and are already busy achieving those goals in 2011. 2011 will be another busy year for many of us. But while being busy please never forget your dreams. You have your dream in your hand and your heart… now is the time to take action and make these dreams a reality. Whether your dreams entail money, business or relationships you should have a vision and plan set out before you, which will bring prosperity in your life during 2011 and long into the future. DISCOVER THE FIRST STEP YOU NEED TO MAKE TO UNLOCK THE GATES OF YOUR FUTURE… And no it’s not pretty…It will require you to let go of your past. To bury it once and for all and start welcoming your future…a new future…a future of prosperity.
This motivational factor and the desire to prove his teachers wrong, propelled him forward to become one of the most content and prosperous entrepreneurs I know.
So what is the first step?
The thing that he realised is that…
First of all you need to use your past mistakes, hurts, fears and failures as a springboard to your future success.
Your prosperity quotient has to be bigger than your disappointment quotient.
I’ve got a friend who was constantly told by his high school teachers that he would never amount to anything. For a while he let this influence get to him. Until one day he woke up and realised that he is in control of his future.
Because it is in the sight of adversity that the real truth about you is revealed… In times of adversity you’ll not only learn who you really are and what you’re made of… but what you really believe.
He realised that he can amount to more than he was lead to believe. So he used his anger, hurt, mistakes and past failures as a motivational factor to prove his teachers wrong.
For my friend, he started to believe in himself in his time of adversity. Not what he was led to believe over all those years, causing him to lead just an average life. The truth is that life it not as it happens, life is how you perceive it.
So to take the first step towards prosperity we’ve got to get fed up with our old problems. We need to get to a stage where we can say good-bye to our hurts and pains. And when we get to this stage, the burial of our past, we can commit to new solutions and prosperity in our life. So for you to succeed at this I wanted to take an example from one of my courses. In this example we’ll make use of a little trick that I’ve used numerous times to bury my past and take that first step through the golden gates of prosperity.
So let’s begin. 1) Firstly take out a blank piece of paper and write on it a list of seven things from your past which have caused you pain. 2) Now take that piece of paper and do one of two things with it. a) put it up on a wall and look at it every day and see what your life gravitates towards or… b) tear up the piece of paper and flush it down the toilet and get on with your future. 3) If you choose the second option write up a new list of dominant images of what you can become and post this on a wall, which you will be able to look at every day.
Don’t underestimate the power of this simple technique. People are always lost with the first step to take… They read a whole book or do a whole course but fail to take the first step. By taking action with something as simple as writing a few past mistakes on a piece of paper and burying them you are taking the first step towards prosperity and it will give you motivation to take the next step… especially when you realise you’re finally heading in the right direction. So, don’t let yourself be governed by your past mistakes, hurts and problems. Use them today to drive you forward and become a bigger person. A person who reaches prosperity and understands that the problems of their past, are the keys to their new future. Pat Mesiti

Why You Must Go Back To
Relationships 101 In Order To Build Stronger Relationships In Your Life… With our next Relationship Weekend fast approaching I felt the need to write an article about why I think relationships are everything in life. But before I do, I feel the need for us to go back to Relationships 101. You see, when I talk about relationships people think I’m only talking about the male and female relationship. Although this plays a huge part in the field of relationships, it is just one aspect of the whole picture. When I talk relationships, I mean your kids, family, friends, colleagues, employees, clients, investors and anyone else you have a relationship with or who affects your life in some way.
Industry. You start nourishing that relationship and rather than just being associated…. take the relationship to the next level and get connected with these particular “players”. For many people this could mean financial breakthroughs, million dollar business deals and a new, more prosperous future. I can teach you how you can make all this happen at my next Re l a t i o n s h i p We e ke n d i n February…but the key point I’m focusing on is that everything in our society revolves around relationships. Not just the emotional male and female relationship, but all other kinds as well.
It is necessary to nourish the relationships you have with your customers or clients in order to prosper from these relationships in the long term. So have a think this week… have a think about the relationships you have which could give you a more prosperous life? Think about what little things you can do to make a difference for that person… how can you foster this relationship to build a fruitful bond? As I said… the principals of relationships are very similar across the board. It’s never just about you… but it is all about you making a difference and nourishing those relationships. When you understand this principal your relationships (no matter what level or kind) will blossom and you’ll truly be able to attract prosperity into your life.
When I think about this I have hundreds… No! Thousands of people I have a connection, association or involvement with.
In my new to be released book “How To Stay Together Without Falling Apart” I reveal a story about a young couple. First when they fell in love… and then what happened Ten years later. Ten years down the track the relationship is totally different, and they wonder what happened…

WHY SPEED IS SO IMPORTANT Time is finite isn’t it? That’s why SPEED is such an important thing for so many reasons. You need to push hard, especially at start-up, to get momentum. You need speed to get the runs on the board and to fill you with justifiable optimism. When you go slowly, nothing much happens, and your enthusiasm may falter as the weeks drag into months.
Enthusiasm is everything for the entrepreneur! Put it this way: It’s like taking a child fishing and you catch nothing… don’t even get a nibble; the only bites you get are from the Mosquitoes and Sand Flies. It’s disappointing, but the promise of another day’s fishing usually gets a sparkle in the child’s eye. Usually, to get the child to go fishing again takes little coaching. But if you go fishing again and then catch nothing… it’ll take a bit more positive reinforcement for the kid to go again. You’ll be able to do it; you just need to do a bit more coaching. But, go fishing again and STILL get no fish… then it’s going to be pretty hard getting the child all worked up about going fishing the next time. I wish you luck. The kid’s enthusiasm is at an all time low. This is understandable. The child got motivated, took the necessary steps, and nothing happened. In fact, the child then repeated the steps twice more; and twice more he took a beating. There’s no more juice left in the tank. It’s the same in life and business. We need to keep moving, keep busy, and get a few runs on the board to give us the energy and
excitement to keep moving forward.

Speed isn’t just important in StartUps, it’s everything. Doing things one at a time might sound good in some lame-brained Business Book written by some old University Professor; but in the real world, doing things one at a time leads to stagnation and death. So you need to be able to let go, delegate (a skill I’m still learning), juggle many different hats and have many balls in the air. Realise you’re always going to be playing catch up but that’s the price we pay for success.
If you have a manager, he or she must be made aware of the importance of sales. If you have a business partner, this MUST be made clear from day one. You’re a marketing company, not an administration company. I’ve seen too many businesses stagnant and ultimately fail because no one was focused on the key to winning in business: Getting sales!
But more than anything speed gets results quickly. If results are bad, you can correct your course and then draw some first blood. Because just like the kid without any fish, an entrepreneur without any wins is as dead as a dinosaur. Not only financially, but his or her confidence takes a battering. Confidence is the #1 thing we entrepreneurs need in abundance. Here’s another tip for Start-Ups: 80% of your time must be focused on sales. Don’t worry about the office furniture or a great location. Don’t worry about putting in complex and costly systems. What’s the good of systems without sales? Get the sales first. Get busy making sales. Get the money in. Then you can clean up the mess with systems. But in the beginning, SALES and plenty of them is what’s needed… and that’s where you should be focused. This Sales Process should NEVER be delegated. Sure, delegate the grunt work; but we all should be the marketer of our businesses. Call in outside help such as copywriters and consultants when needed; but
This is the attitude that MUST prevail throughout your whole company… from managers right on down. Any plodders should be offered the door without hesitation. Here’s a secret: Mediocre people get flustered with just a few things on their plates. Successful entrepreneurs are different. We thrive on the chaos, revel at the mess we’ve created and we’re juggling numerous projects at the same time… from major ideas right down to the nitty gritty minor details, all without breaking a sweat. This is what we live for! If you do NOT feel this way, making a lot of money in business is going to be very tough for you. Because this is how success is made… in a messy kitchen, with many chefs, and with multiple dishes to prepare. Plodders should not apply.
