Welcome

SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER 2020 EDITION

In This Edition...

Life goes on... It feels good to have been back up and running for a couple of months now, but it’s hardly back to normal. Last issue I was welcoming everyone to the ‘new normal’ (that phrase is beginning to grate a bit now!), but we’ve still got a bit to go. Since our last issue the health of the nation has improved enormously, and we’ve had some freedoms returned, but caution and special measures are very much embedded in our way of life for a while yet. The imminent return of schools is the next big challenge. It does appear that caution is paying off, and we are all playing our part while we hope for an early vaccine success. It feels like we’ve been here before. Local businesses need you as much as they ever have, perhaps more than ever, so that they can survive through this extended health and economic crisis, and keep delivering their community focussed products and services to all of us in the years to come. Since last issue, commerce has returned, albeit in restricted form, so those businesses can now see a light at the end of the tunnel. Without the resources and contacts of national and multinational businesses, local businesses rely

on us as much as we rely on them. Government backed loan schemes, grants and tax deferments have helped many businesses to stay afloat, but of course it is customers they really need. That’s us. Let’s keep it local after lockdown! Katrina, Lisa, Simon & Paul The Park Life Team

GLASGOW STUMP REMOVAL

Park Life | Business

Glasgow, Edinburgh & Stirling Tree & Hedge Stump Removal What we do with your unwanted tree stumps.

Using lawn-friendly specialist stump grinding machines, Glasgow Stump Removal will grind your tree stumps into mulch, removing stumps 6 to 12 inches below ground level. The mulch is used to fill the hole to ground level. This enables the ground to be restored back to grass or flower bed, or it can be paved over. We use various machines to efficiently and effectively grind stumps of different sizes and in awkward access locations.

Arborist Services We also provide full arborist services through our associates, including felling, crown thinning and lifting, pollarding etc.

he Games can survive this crisis and plans are going ahead to bring them back bigger and better than before for 2021

With August almost finished, we’re seeing SHGA member games doing lots of things to mark the occasion of their events and keep interest up among supporters. uring the Covid-19 lockdown there was a huge uptake in cycling. Already a popular pastime the local bike shops were inundated with customers looking for exercise and keen to explore their local area on two wheels. Killearn even got a new bike shop! This feature is all about the amazing bike routes within the Park Life area. The hills may have put some off but now there are e-bikes, which will help you to effortlessly manage the inclines. A good e-bike can cost around £2,000, although thanks to the e-bike loan from the Energy Saving Trust each household can receive up to £6,000 of an interest free loan over 4 years to fund up to two bikes. Alternatively, you could hire an e-bike or trial one. Details on next page. Most people can cycle around 10k in about 30 minutes on an e-bike. Here are some ideas on routes and destinations.

west lomond cycle path

Distance 28km / 17 miles From Balloch follow the western shores of Loch Lomond along the West Lomond Cycle Path to Tarbet. It’s well signposted, mostly on pathways and fairly flat. Get great views of Ben Lomond and Loch Lomond and take a slight detour into Luss village.

18 |

www.parklifescotland.co.uk

Lochs & Glens Way (NCN7)

This national network cycling route connects some of our villages, with a mostly off-road cycle path. www.visitscotland.com/see-do/ active/cycling/national-routes/map

balloch to drymen

16km / 10 miles This section starts at Balloch Castle Country Park and then follows quiet country roads through Croftamie and into Drymen. NCN7 combines with the John Muir Way and West Highland Way in places. It’s mainly flat and easy to cycle.

drymen to balmaha

Return distance is 18km / 11 miles Start at Drymen Village Square and follow the cycle signs for Balmaha, heading through Buchanan Estate and along the pathways and road cycle lane towards Balmaha. Instead of returning along the same route consider taking your bike on a Cruise Loch Lomond waterbus service, West Lomond Cycle Path and NCN7.

drymen to aberfoyle 16km / 10 miles

From Drymen Square go past The Clachan and up Old Gartmore Road passing the primary school. More gradients, but easy and narrow water board and forestry roads. Through Gartmore and finally into Aberfoyle along a cycle path.

Aberfoyle to Callander 22km / 13 miles

One of the best and most scenic stretches of the National Cycle Network. Through the forest just past Aberfoyle and onto the Three Lochs Drive, past Loch Drunkie and then Loch Venachar. You will be very tempted to stop and explore the wonderful countryside.

Callander to Killin

39km / 24.5 miles

trossachs explorer

As the NCN7 route through the National Park gets more spectacular, unsurprisingly the hills get steeper. This is where an e-bike takes on the hard work. From Callander head north along the old railway line, alongside the shores of Loch Lubnaig, stop at Strathyre for something to eat and drink. The highlight of the route is crossing the two viaducts at Glen Ogle. At Killin there is the Falls of Dochart cutting through the village.

27km / 17 miles return From Kinlochard to Stronachlachar through spectacular scenery along a mostly quiet B-road. An excellent cafĂŠ awaits you at Stronachlachar.

Two new ways to take to the water on Loch Katrine T

wo new cruise boats have gone into service on Loch Katrine this summer Rob Roy III and Osprey

Rob Roy III is named after Rob Roy MacGregor who was born at the head of Loch Katrine and continues the tradition of boats named after the famous outlaw. The last Rob Roy boat carried Queen Victoria when she visited Loch Katrine in 1859 to open the new water works. Rob Roy III joins the Lady of the Lake with frequent cruises each day. Osprey is named after the magnificent bird of prey that nest each year on the banks of Loch Katrine. This small boat is available for family groups to enjoy their own exclusive private tour

of Loch Katrine. The size of the boat allows it to get up close to the wonderful scenic shorelines, rich with wonderful wildlife and nature. This is ideal for those in a social or family bubble to experience a special adventure. Loch Katrine have introduced sailing timetables and other measures to ensure visitors will have a safe and comfortable visit to the attraction, full details of these are available on their website. Sadly, the Sir Walter Scott Steamship isn’t sailing this year as it requires significant boiler repairs. A public appeal will be launched soon to raise funds necessary for the repairs. Book on-line at www.lochkatrine.com or call 01877 376315.

We are continuing to care for people both inside the building and, increasingly in people's own homes. Our running costs are largely the same as always and we rely on voluntary income of £12,900 every day of the year. share your west highland way memories from the last 40 years

T

special anniversary year. COVID-19 has, of course, affected this but we can’t let this moment pass without celebrating the incredible success of Scotland’s first long distance route.

The campaign, part of a special anniversary project funded by the LEADER programme, is now underway and is appealing for stories, video and photography from walkers, runners and cyclists whilst on the West Highland Way. This content will form the basis of an on-line exhibition to celebrate the 40th anniversary on 6th October.

At the start of the year we released a special West Highland Way passport, with walkers receiving stamps along the route. We are keen to keep the public engaged in the celebrations, which is why we also decided to stage a virtual exhibition in October. Key to this will be the incredible stories and moments experienced along the 96 miles by the many thousands of people who have enjoyed their time on the West Highland Way.”

he West Highland Way celebrates its 40th anniversary in October 2020 and is looking for stories, photos and special moments from the public from their time spent on the much-loved longdistance route.

Jane McGeary, Business Development Manager for the West Highland Way, said: “Many people feel great affection for the West Highland Way and various activities had been planned for this

if the walls could talk... A

t 280 years old, if the walls of Gartmore’s Black Bull could talk, they’d have some cracking tales to tell. But nothing can compare with the remarkable story of the last 12 months. Last September, with the building in need of much TLC and facing an uncertain future, it was bought by the people of the village - to go with the community owned shop they had saved 21 years ago. In doing this, Gartmore became unique in Scotland. But none of us saw a global pandemic coming. The sale of the pub went through at 4pm on September 2 2019 and two hours later, full of optimism and enthusiasm, our volunteer army opened the doors — and kept them open every day onwards, including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Right through the winter, relying on volunteers and a paid chef, we served food and drink while we started sprucing up the pub on our shoestring budget. The response from within the community was extraordinary - everyone did something: professional musicians cleaned toilets, interior designers washed pots, grandmothers and builders pulled pints, vets sanded tables, young people rigged IT systems, retired people gave advice or served tables. Celebrity chef Tom Kerridge was so impressed he came to advise us and feature the Black Bull in a BBC TV series coming soon.

30 |

www.parklifescotland.co.uk

A month ago, when we opened our newly painted and planted beer garden, Tom Kerridge flew up to congratulate us, along with local MSP Bruce Crawford. A week later, we were delighted to finally reopen our bar and restaurant with a new chef and two paid members of staff - and our trusty volunteers still filling in behind the bar, waitressing and giving free lifts in our community minibus at weekends. The place looks amazing and it’s warm, smart and friendly. The response from the village and visitors has been tremendous, with the restaurant fully booked on lots of nights. We used to worry the room was too big - but it’s come into its own by allowing tables to be widely spread, so diners are safe and comfortable. We think we’ve achieved a small miracle. We’d love to share it with you.

Then disaster, in the form of Covid-19, struck. No more making plans for a summer season and refurbishing gradually - we had to close at the end of March. We kept the pub going by serving takeaway meals for the community. As soon as it was allowed, our volunteer army came back, carefully socially distanced, and got stuck into the mammoth job of redecorating and refurbishing the bedrooms, bar, hall and new heritage room. The outside was repainted and our signs spruced up. Hundreds, if not thousands, of hours of voluntary effort have transformed the old place while it was shut to the public.

Our restaurant is open for lunch and dinner every day from 12.30pm with last orders at 8pm - be sure to book your table online - and our beautiful refurbished bedrooms will be ready to receive guests from September. We’ll be running weekend specials so look out for offers on our website www.blackbullgartmore.com and facebook and instagram @blackbullgartmore. We’ve also got an electric bike charger and welcome cyclists.

Park Life RECIPE

Scotch Eggs

P

Makes 6 delicious scotch eggs, take 25mins to prepare and 15 minutes to cook

Ingredients • 8 Eggs • Plain Flour, to dust • 500g Sausage Mince • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce • 2 tbsp finely chopped chives, plus extra, to serve • Breadcrumbs, to coat • Vegetable Oil, to deep-fry

lace 6 eggs in a saucepan of water. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat to low and cook for 3 minutes for soft-boiled eggs. Drain eggs and plunge immediately in a bowl of iced water until cool. Peel eggs and pat dry with paper towel. Dust with flour and set aside.

Flatten each portion of mince in the palm of your hand until 1 cm thick. Place a boiled egg in the centre and mould mince around egg to enclose, ensuring there are no cracks. Repeat with remaining mince and eggs.

Meanwhile, place the sausage mince, Worcestershire sauce and chives in a bowl and knead until combined. Season with salt and pepper, then divide the mixture into 6 portions.

Fill a deep-fryer or large saucepan one-third full with oil and heat over medium heat to 170°C (or until a cube of bread turns golden in 15 seconds). Working in 2 batches, gently drop eggs into the oil and fry, turning halfway, for 6 minutes or until crisp and golden. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towel. Cut eggs in half and scatter with extra chives to serve.

Whisk remaining 2 eggs with 1 tbsp water in a bowl. Place the whisked eggs and breadcrumbs in separate shallow bowls. Set aside until needed.

Dip eggs in eggwash, then coat in breadcrumbs. Repeat process once more, then place on a plate and set aside.

eat, drink & be merry... The gradual return of the local hospitality sector By Mike McGinn

T

he hospitality sector, particularly restaurants and pubs, has been hit badly by lockdown restrictions which are only beginning to ease now. The reopening of food and drink outlets has been subject to some understandably cautious restrictions over social distancing and hygiene, and is consequently unlikely to pick up to anything like pre-COVID levels for quite some time yet. But they are back, and customers are returning. Keeping the required distance between customer ‘bubbles’ means that customer numbers are severely down on capacity, but in some cases customers are still nervous about returning to shared spaces, especially where there is an exemption reducing the distance required from 2m to 1m. Of course, this exemption comes alongside a whole host of required protective measures to mitigate the risks, so there should really be no significantly greater risk in the pub compared to the supermarket. We are lucky here in the environs of Loch Lomond, in that we have restauranteurs and publicans who all belong to our community, and provide their services with that in mind - keeping their customers safe means keeping their community safe, and of course this safeguards their future business.

36 |

www.parklifescotland.co.uk

rules into law. Thankfully, we have not seen any instances locally where business owners have not fully followed the rules, so nothing will change for us when that happens. There are government support schemes tailored for the hospitality sector, as with other sectors, and these have helped ensure that most businesses have survived until now. These schemes will end in due course, and hopefully by that time customers will be back in numbers. An eyecatching scheme to help that happen is the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ discount scheme, which most restaurants are running with. This has proved an instant hit, with Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday restaurant bookings noticeably improved. Aside from helping out restaurants, there is the feelgood factor of getting out of the house for a change of scenery to relax! There have been some unfavourable reports from parts of the country (not here!) which have prompted the government to turn some hospitality

Our local restaurants and takeaways are strict with social distancing, staff wearing masks and tables well-spaced, so they are doing what is needed to keep us safe. This shows that we are again very lucky to be where we are.

Let’s hope this slow return of commerce and hospitality continues to work for us. But not too slow - see the interview with Sandy Fraser on pages 42 and 43 highlighting the hurdles from a local business point of view. Sandy and his fellow entrepreneurs deserve our support every bit as much as we deserve the services they provide.

As we get used to our gradually improving environment, we can all provide that support by enjoying our returning freedoms.

Exciting times ahead

A

lot has happened since we wrote our word of thanks for the Summer edition of Park Life magazine.

We have been allowed to reopen the doors to The Inn at Kippen and have been kept busy both inside The Inn and with our takeaways and contactless deliveries. As we look back over the beginning of 2020 we are overwhelmed by the support of our local community, and want to take the opportunity to say thank you once again for all of your kindness and enthusiasm over these difficult months. As the guidelines change and we learn more about how to operate in our new normal of 2020, we have some exciting plans in the pipeline for The Inn and our takeaways/ deliveries over the coming weeks and months. As well as our Calendar of Events noted here, we will be keeping our facebook page up to date with any changes to our guidelines or events happening over the next few months.

New for Aberfoyl

working through lockdown

Park Life chats with local businessman Sandy Fraser Interview By Paul Saunders

S

andy Fraser is known for his positive outlook and enthusiasm. This drive and vision have encouraged him and his family to expand their business significantly during recent years. We recently met Sandy at The Oak Tree Inn, on the day before his business would be able to open more fully to the public. Even for such a positive person the necessity to close their business for 15 weeks must have been incredibly challenging. However, we were greeted with the usual warm welcome. As Sandy explained the support from customers and staff for the reopening of the business has been overwhelming. ‘During lockdown my son Stuart and I were the only working employees, with over 100 staff on furlough. As the largest employer in East Loch Lomond we feel a huge responsibility to keep people in work. The staff have all been fantastic, incredibly helpful and loyal. They’ve kept us going with their huge support and good wishes. As lockdown eased and we shared our plans for reopening, explaining all the measures to keep customers safe and comfortable we a received tremendous reaction from our customers.’ Supporting Sandy and Stuart have been their family and extended family members, all of whom have lent their practical help to get the business re-opened. During our visit a major refurbishment was being

42 |

www.parklifescotland.co.uk

undertaken of the kitchen and toilets. Throughout lockdown Sandy played a key role as part of the representation of Scotland’s tourism industry, talking through concerns and challenges facing the industry directly with the Cabinet Minister for tourism. As Sandy explains the most difficult decision was to temporarily close the Village Shop for the duration of lockdown. ‘We were aware that despite lockdown people living outside the National Park would still want to visit and were keen not to provide facilities that would attract them and in turn add pressure to the local community. Instead we offered an on-line delivery service of local supplies for the local villages, something that we hope to continue to develop.” Sandy and his family have been incredibly frustrated by rubbish disposed of inconsiderately by a small minority of visitors. Just before Covid-19 the Oak Tree Inn were about to launch a major initiative to keep the village clean. This will be revised in accordance with new guidelines and introduced in the near future. In the meantime, the family and staff of the Oak Tree play a major part in keeping Balmaha tidy, collecting and disposing of litter. As Sandy explains lockdown proved to be a difficult time for litter along the eastern shores of Loch Lomond.

‘At a time when only local residents should have been in and around the village there was a sizeable number of visitors. Sadly, this resulted in a large amount of litter, which understandably upset local residents.

"

During lockdown my son Stuart and I were the only working employees, with over 100 staff on furlough

"

Sandy Fraser

Litter, like parking and public toilets has been a major challenge for many years and despite the formation of the National Park there has not been an effective solution or improvement. Whilst we welcome any campaign and educational message there has to be a greater investment of infrastructure at the most visited locations. Popular places, such as Balmaha must receive increased bin capacity and greater resources to empty them more frequently, especially after busy days. It is vital that we preserve the beauty and protect the international reputation of Scotland’s first National Park.’ Recently the Frasers opened a new car park with 70 spaces, to help relieve the pressure on the village on busy days as the existing car park quickly reaches capacity. This significant investment made by their business was designed to prevent the need for cars to park illegally, which sadly had occurred too frequently on weekends and warm days. The family have got an excellent reputation for preserving the beauty of the village and investing in visitor facilities. Infrastructure support from government agencies would help to further improve the village for both residents and visitors.

where to send your items Do you have an old or unwanted pair of binoculars, telescope, spotting scope or tripod which are in good working order, collecting dust in the cupboard? If so, we can put them to use in a conservation or educational project somewhere in the world. Please send your items to the address below: RSPB Second-hand binocular scheme Unit 17 St Martins Business Centre St Martins Way Bedford MK42 OLF Please note - we can only use items in good working order. Alternatively, you can take your donation to your nearest staffed RSPB nature reserve or regional office/country headquarters, or send it in via your RSPB local group, where your donation will be forwarded to us.

how the scheme works When we receive donated binoculars, telescopes, spotting scopes and tripods, staff and volunteers check the condition of the items. Useable optics are then stored in the RSPB Business Centre until needed. BirdLife International Partners and other organisations within these countries that have heard about our scheme send us many requests for equipment. We do everything we can to fulfil each request. To keep costs to a minimum we often rely on someone visiting the country from which the request has come to deliver the optics. We also keep a record of where we send the equipment and ask that the society/project agrees to help to stimulate interest in conservation, and not to sell the equipment for profit.

We have been able to provide equipment for a range of initiatives across the world that have helped educate people and protect many different species. Without it, the projects would have been much more difficult to run, as many of the organisations could not have afforded to buy binoculars and telescopes.

what has been achieved Since it began in 1985, the RSPB's second-hand binocular scheme has provided more than 12,000 pieces of optical equipment to conservation and education projects in more than 90 countries. From Vietnam to Greece, India to Ecuador, binoculars and telescopes have found their way to projects in some of the world’s most remote communities, often delivered by RSPB staff and supporters.

As they upgrade their equipment, lots of people put their old binoculars and telescopes in the back of cupboards and forget about them. This is a really good way of putting them to a good use. The initiative has helped a range of projects, including equipping Angola’s first-ever bird hide, the chance for Tanzanian school children to see close-up views of wildlife at a national park and for park rangers on a Brazilian rainforest reserve to protect wildlife from illegal hunters. For more information, please call 01767 693690.

Mohammed Dilawar, formerly from the India community projects – now working for the Bombay Natural History Society, India.

helping projects around the world ‘The students were thrilled with the experience of seeing the birds so close up. This is a very good scheme and I am trying to make it popular in India so that people here also start donating their optics.

'The donated scope has helped us to study bird’s behaviour without disturbing them. Many schools have approached me to take their students for birdwatching trips. This has started an all new chapter in functional conservation in Nashik city and all the credits go to the RSPB for helping me.’

Eight Wee Hills with Big Views You don’t have to be an experienced hill walker to enjoy Scotland’s most spectacular views. Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park boasts a range of ‘Wee Hills with Big Views’ that can be enjoyed by people of all levels of fitness and experience.

Ben A’an

In the Trossachs, the 4km walk up this lovely peak offers a surprisingly big experience with many of the ingredients of a mountain hike such as an atmospheric forest, open moorlands, views of crags and a superb vista of the surrounding landscape at the top.

Gouk Hill

On the east of Helensburgh, Gouk hill is 277m high and forms part of the long distance coast-to-coast walk, the John Muir Way.landscape at the top.

Take a walk on the wild side...

Glen Striddle hills

56 |

These hills offer a fine hike from the village of Luss and to the highest point, Beinn Dubh at 657m. You could choose to simply walk out and back on the same route, or complete a 12km horseshoe circuit taking in another hilltop, Mid Hill at 623m.

Ben Gullipen

Starting from Callander, this is a 414m hike up a wellestablished path. The reward is breath-taking views of the Wallace Monument near Stirling, Loch Venachar, Ben Venue and Ben Ledi, as well as the Munros Stuc a’Chroin and Ben Vorlich, and the Menteith Hills.

Callander Crags

If you’re looking for something a little less challenging, these crags offer a very pleasant walk through beautiful woodlands, over the crag tops and to a cairn at 343m. Many people also take in a visit to the stunning Bracklinn Falls.

Dundurn

In the north of the National Park, Dundurn is a rocky knoll only 112m high where a Pictish Fort once sat. Filled with local history, en-route to the top you can visit a burial ground and the remains of St. Fillan’s Chapel, dating back to the 1300s.

Conic Hill

A short but fairly stiff 361m climb beginning in Balmaha, Conic Hill offers magnificent views of Loch Lomond. It comes with the added bragging bonus of being able to say you’ve walked part of the West Highland Way, one of Scotland’s most famous trails.

www.parklifescotland.co.uk

Inchcailloch island

If you fancy a boat trip, cross over from Balmaha to the enchanting Inchcailloch island, and then follow the easy-going way-marked trail up to the island’s highest point (85m). Enjoy a panoramic view of the peaks of many mountains.

season of mists and mellow fruitfulness...

S

eptember is harvest time, but it’s also time to plan ahead and start sowing the vegetables that will provide valuable winter harvests and earlier spring and summer pickings.

In autumn the soil is still warm, so seeds will germinate quickly. If the weather is still fine, the growing season can continue for several weeks. Browse a list of vegetables you can sow in September, below.

one

four

Spring cabbages and spinach can be sown now for pickings next spring. You will need to cover the spinach with fleece from October onwards.

Radishes mature in just a couple of weeks, so it’s worth sowing a late batch of seeds now, for a late crop.

two There’s still time to sow salad crops to harvest in the coming weeks. Sow in a sheltered spot outdoors, or grow in pots. Try mustard leaf, winter salad mixes, mizuna or mibuna. Winter lettuces such as ‘Winter Density’ can be sown under glass.

three Sowing broad beans in autumn means plants can establish over winter and crop earlier next spring. Broad beans and peas are hardy, but it’s advisable to cover plants with fleece during hard frosts or snow. Try broad bean ‘Aquadulce Claudia’ or pea ‘Feltham First’.

five Turnips are another fast-growing crop that can be sown on bare soil in September – they do best in cool, moist conditions. Harvest as golf-ball sized, baby veg in around six weeks. Perfect for the Christmas table.

six Planting onion sets in autumn means you will get an earlier crop next year. Choose a variety that’s ideal for autumn sowing, such as ‘Troy’ or ‘Radar’. Garlic can be sown any time between now and spring.

keeping the colour going;

W

hen the days are shortening, we really appreciate the hard-working flowers that wait defiantly until the end of the year to bloom. When others have faded, these stalwarts are just getting into their stride and their vibrant colours shine out against the greyest skies. I love giant perennials that remind me of the wonder sensed as a child peering up at plants taller than me. Helianthus Lemon Queen is a 2m giant that produces vivid yellow daisies like a single flowered dahlia or a dainty sunflower and it partners purple asters, (now known as symphiotrychum) particularly well, such as Jindai, an upright, well behaved variety. Symphiotrychum Prairie Purple is my all-time favourite, a deep sumptuous purple that I like to pair with verbena hastata; let them fight it out to see which can grow the tallest. Other statuesque autumn stunners are aconitums - Bressingham Spire is a super blue, japanese anenomes in white and pinks and also the fluffy headed eupatorium – look for Riesenschirm with its strong deepest pink flowers. Shorter perennials to clothe the feet of the giants, or to shine in a smaller space are hesperantha coccinea, rudbeckias and nerine bowdenii, a delicate lily-like flower. Toad lilies, trycyrtis are very exotic looking, like orchids, yet are robust and strong flowers that take up very little space.

late summer perennials

by Holly Nairn

While shorter plants are readily available from garden centres, it’s worth shopping at small specialist nurseries and online for taller plants that can be delivered in spring before they start top growth. These generally aren’t sold commercially due to the extra packaging and transportation costs involved in moving tall plants and they aren’t easy to display in garden centres as they blow over in high winds. I guarantee, they’ll be worth the wait. www.hollynairn.com
