Mentorship

Mentorship is an important part of the PSVI Coach Academy It will provide our coaches with insight, advice, and emotional support in their coaching journey. It will also provide our mentors with an opportunity to develop from reflection and connection with the coaches in the program creating a mutually beneficial situation for both mentee (Coach Academy coach) and mentor (PSVI recruited coach)

There are four main elements of mentorship that we will look to highlight in this program These include a) focus on knowledge acquisition, b) support and assistance with career development, c) be mutually beneficial for mentee and mentor, and d) involve direct interaction between mentor and mentee

In each phase, mentors and mentees will have two meetings to check-in, discuss current coaching roles, and develop a relationship that focuses on career and psychosocial support for both the mentee and mentor
