In our Spring issue, we highlighted the partnership between non-profit VIDA, Volunteers for Inter-American Development Assistance, and Otis McAllister, in which much needed medical equipment and supplies are gathered and sorted by VIDA and shipped by Otis McAllister to various Latin American countries. Otis McAllister Chairman and CEO, Royce Nicolaisen, in an interview with ABC7’s Cheryl Jennings, explained how once a container is offloaded in Lima, it gets broken down and distributed by trucks that deliver the vital equipment to the mountainous and hard-to-reach towns of the Peruvian Andes. VIDA, based out of Emeryville, has hundreds of volunteers here in the Bay Area, reports VIDA Executive Director Adam See, but even with all those volunteers and

partners, there is now a call to action to aid our global communities – we need your help, reader. Peru was recently struck with a tragic calamity. The worst flooding within the past two decades occurred this Spring. AccuWeather Meteorologists reports that in one single 24-hour day, 55mm of rain fell along the northern coast of Peru – for reference: Piura, the capitol of the Piura Province in Northwest Peru averages only 75mm of rainfall a year. Swelling rivers and weeklong rain fall plagued the northern and central regions of Peru, destroying invaluable infrastructure and homes. Coastal cities, like Lima, are at high risk. The heavy rainfall in the foothills and Andes sends dangerous river run off downhill to these vistal port cities.

And on its way downhill, that flooding estranges communities and families, destroying powerlines and making communication essentially impossible. Further, the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) reports that the flooding, which began early December, has affected over 650,000 Peruvian citizens, and additionally damaged more than 145,000 properties. The European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations informs that at least 400 hospitals have been damaged by the insistent flooding. Dreadfully, there have been more than 80 lives lost during this horrific natural disaster. While both VIDA and Otis McAllister have been working tirelessly to offset some of the damage done by the flooding – Victor Umana,

Operations Manager of Otis McAllister has personally and swiftly worked to expedite the containers full of much needed humanitarian aid. We still ask for your help. For every dollar donated to VIDA $150 in medical aid can be provided to the people of Latin America. Last year VIDA made 62 shipments, funded by folks like you who donated what they could. And if you are or know someone who is in the medical field and would like to make a medical supply donation, VIDA has a list of their most needed supplies online. Every little bit of effort helps to rebuild Peru. Over the next couple of months Adam See would like to make a total of 8 shipping containers to Peru of humanitarian aid. Adam has personally been to Peru to help offload the containers and distribute the supplies. Adam has seen firsthand the damage caused by this flooding. Roads, bridges, and entire communities have been washed clean. In such a divisive time, it is important for us to come together and help pull up our friends, family, and neighbors â&#x20AC;&#x201C; both in our local communities and our global communities. And while this tragedy is terrible, it does present a unique opportunity for us to raise our pious and charitable standards. The humanity common to us all is a beautiful thing. Health & Nutrition Welcome to the newest addition to the Otis McAllister newsletter, our Health & Nutrition Column! Each quarter, we will feature a piece that explores an aspect of food and nutrition as they relate to a healthy and active lifestyle. At Otis McAllister, we constantly strive to provide our customers with healthy and delicious foods. Whether we are working on a new flavor profile of our La Sirena sustainable seafood or developing quick cook whole grains from Village Harvest, we hope that our foods inspire healthy and delicious meals around the family table. This column will highlight the many health benefits of our products, feature recipes and other inspiration for incorporating healthy foods into your diet. To kick things off, we want to begin by talking about one of Otis McAllister’s most popular and beloved products, Village Harvest’s line of whole grains. Most of us now know that whole grains are an important cornerstone to a balanced diet. But let’s take a step back: what exactly is a whole grain? By definition, a grain is the seed of a plant. Whole grains specifically retain all of the edible parts of the grain including the germ, bran and endosperm. Refined grains like white rice and traditional white flours have had the bran and germ removed- as a result, processed grains lose the grain’s most important sources of fiber, vitamins and other nutrients. The bottom line is that whole grains are an important source of fiber, antioxidants, important vitamins and minerals. So what kind of impact can whole grains have on our health? A big one!

1. They may reduce the risk of cancer* An analysis which combines results from studies conducted in the United States, the United Kingdom and Scandinavian countries (which include health information from more than 786,000 individuals) found that people who ate 70 grams of whole grains per day had a 20% lower risk of cancer mortality compared with those who consumed little or no whole grains in their diet. 2. They may reduce the risk of Type-II Diabetes* In a study of more than 160,000 women whose healthy habits and diet were followed for up to eighteen years, women who averaged two to three servings of whole grains per day were 30% less likely to develop type 2 diabetes than those who rarely ate whole grains. 3. They may reduce the risk of heart disease* Eating whole grains substantially lowers total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein (LDL, or bad) cholesterol, triglycerides, and insulin levels. An analysis of seven major studies showed that heart disease (including heart attack and stroke) was 21 percent less likely in people who ate 2.5 or more servings of whole-grain foods a day compared with people who ate fewer than 2 servings per week. 4. They contain high amounts of fiber and are digested slowly* Whole grains are digested more slowly than processed grains which helps to stabilize blood sugar and insulin levels. In addition, by keeping stool soft and bulky, the fiber in whole grains helps to prevent constipation and other digestive problems. *All information sourced from the Harvard School of Public Health

This year, the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas took place in Orlando, Florida from March 27th through March 29th. Otis presented the full assortment from both categories at the tradeshow booth, highlighting 2017 novelties such as the Lindt Lindor Mango & Cream Tube, Lindt Napolitain Trolley, and new flavors across all brands. The team utilized the time at the tradeshow to strengthen business relationships with retailers/suppliers and identify opportunities for growth. Overall, it was another successful year at the tradeshow with nonstop business meetings and events. Within the short timeframe the Otis Travel Retail division has managed the Mondelez confectionary brands, there has been a robust sales growth of 59% year to date. According to Justin Nee, Confectionary Sales Director, “Sales growth has been driven by a more focused assortment, specifically with Toblerone Tiny Bags and 360g Bars, contributing to a 65% YTD sales growth for Toblerone. Matt Panara, Sales Manager, adds that “Otis has been able to secure prime placement for Mondelez brands through strong promotional offerings, successful in-store execution of the brand ambassador program, and staff trainings.”

JFK International Airport was targeted by Mondelez and the Otis Travel Retail division as the key USA airport opportunity for scale, as well as the most individual retailers. The Otis team traveled with Mondelez to JFK in late May, with the strategy to educate the retailers on the Mondelez WTR brands but more importantly empower them with Mondelez’s strategy of “More Shoppers, Spend Often” and rules of merchandising (Color Blocking, Best Position, Front Facing). Otis and Mondelez trained over 100 retail sales staff in two days, and Otis will continue the training sessions in Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Jennifer Knight, Associate Buyer for International Shoppes (IS), has pointed out that since Otis McAllister acquired the Mondelez brands, “Otis runs a welloiled machine which has greatly impacted our lead/ turnaround times in a very positive way. IS is able to order efficiently because of the service level Otis McAllister provides.”

Festival season is upon us! Between big multi-day music shows, and downtown Wine and Art events – it is easy to stay busy on the weekends. If you’re looking for a weekend activity, come on out to one of The Good Cider’s events. Check out some of the local artists in your community and meet our friendly staff! At this year’s Livermore Streetfest we sampled out over 30 cases of The Good stuff. We had one patron who had followed TGC to Walnut Creek’s Art and Wine show and another attendee from Livermore frequented our sampling booth so much, she was proposed to right in front of our booth! The happy couple is featured below enjoying The Good Cider!

While in Walnut Creek, we poured full bottles of cider and had a chance to meet so many neat people! Sunday night, we also got to enjoy the wonderful Warriors game outside in the event’s bustling beer garden, which was full of local breweries. Our cider was showcased alongside classic cars and soon to be released cars, just kitty-corner from the stage. It was such a blast to watch every dance and be merry. was born and raised in Orinda, and though she attended school at the University of Richmond, in Virginia she is happy to be back in the Bay! During her time in college, she studied Business Administration with a concentration in management and a minor in healthcare studies. There, she was on the dance team, and a member of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity. Alaina studied abroad in Valencia, Spain, and is always looking to practice her Spanish. She is so excited to be part of the Otis McAllister team as the new product development intern! Alaina Hyde nació y creció en Orinda. Everett Golden and Graciela Beck enjoyed a toast to business and friendship during a recent visit to Los Angeles with Otis long-time customer Jeff Nestande. The sunshine, the flowers, the ambience, the company and the food was outstanding and in typical LA fashion. The dining establishment was the famous Beverly Hills "Ivy" Landmark restaurant which is also known for celebrity sightings. None were present, though. Still a lovely day. By Jenny Hyman, Supply Chain Manager For the past few months the Rice Department has been searching for two new Canadian warehouses. In the beginning of May, I made a trip up to Toronto and Montreal to visit the warehouses we had been in contact with to determine which would be the best fit. While there were some strong candidates, two out shown the others. Our new Toronto warehouse is Keele Logistics. Located a stones throw from the rail ramp in Toronto the warehouse is one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen. James Appelbe, president of Keele, was very welcoming and knowledgeable out the ins and out of his warehouse. Keele specializes in smaller customers, which is perfect for our Toronto business. They have excellent certifications as well! Our new Montreal warehouse is Transplus. They are partnered with our Vancouver and Calgary warehouses, both of whom have excellent customer service. Transplus has a fully automated inventory system and one of the best inbound container SOPs I’ve come across. Gerard Levesque was not only attentive throughout the entire visit, he also set up a session on how to use their website. As with Keele, they have excellent certifications! We will start moving inventory into both of our new warehouses as soon as we deplete the existing inventory in our current warehouses. We’re excited to begin working with both Keele and Transplus!

Hidalgo also serves our Rice division as a southeastern warehouse. Gema Norbeck, Vice President of Sales, Hidalgo Group, has been great in helping with our demanding needs as well as making space for all our products. She has gone above and beyond to make Hidalgo one of our best warehouses. The warehouse itself is over 66,000 sq. ft. with temperature and humidity control. They also handle many major accounts including Royal Caribbean, Carozzi North America, Levi’s Strauss, and Ritz Carlton. Every member of the Hidalgo team works hard to accomplish dynamic logistics solutions that will result in bottom line savings opportunities for Otis. To ensure that we receive the best customer service, Gema went as far as to hire an Otis-exclusive account representative. I would like to introduce Daris Mendez, our account representative at The Hidalgo Group. He was born in Cuba in 1989. We immigrated from Cuba in 1992 and has lived in Miami Lakes ever since. Before coming to Hidalgo, he worked in the Duty Free industry as an Import/Export Customs Coordinator Supervisor from 2010 until May 2017 for Duty Free Americas (one of the Travel Retail customers). He joined Hidalgo in May 2017 as the sole representative for Otis. He has worked diligently with us to insure timely delivery and great customer service. We look forward to working with him and the Hidalgo team in the future.

By / por Elena Hausser SeĂąor Recently I was able to go on a mission trip to Ecuador with fellow UC Berkeley students where we worked with local school kids and organizations on promoting sustainability, biodiversity, and specifically sustainable agriculture. During my time in Cuenca, we worked on a community owned farm run by a womenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s cooperative. We helped them weed, build sheds for compost, and plant seasonal plants without using any harsh chemicals. In the second part of our journey we traveled to Bahia de Caraquez. This city had recently been devastated by an earthquake only one year prior. Yet the richness of culture and quality of life was still prominent despite the condition of the town. Here we connected with the local global student embassy students. Their devotion to their school gardens and improving the ecological state of their community was

incredibly inspiring and motivating when helping them with their goals. Together, we participated in an array of projects during our time in Bahia. On the beach days, we collected shells and took samples of the sand with local marine biology students in order to help them collect data for research on marine biodiversity. We also participated in beach cleanups, collecting over 25 trash bags of garbage. In addition, we planted papaya trees on a local farm and macheted down invasive plants. On another farm, we learned about the principles of permaculture and helped design and execute several compost circles for the banana trees we then planted to use for nutrients. Throughout this time, I was able to bond with the local students and hope that I was able to inspire them as they inspired me with their dedication to the environment. Thanks to Otis McAllister for supporting me throughout this journey and motivating me to continue working with Latin American countries to promote sustainability.

Recientemente tuve la oportunidad de ir en una misión al Ecuador con unos compañeros de la Universidad de Berkeley donde trabajamos con estudiantes y organizaciones para promover programas de sostenibilidad, bio-diversidad y especificas formas de agricultura sostenible En la ciudad de Cuenca trabajamos en una granja donde la comunidad es copropietaria y está manejada por una de las mujeres de dicha cooperativa. Les ayudamos a desyerbar, construir almacenamientos para abono y sembrar plantas de temporada sin utilizar químicos dañinos. En la segunda parte de nuestro viaje, nos desplazamos a la bahía de Caráquez. Esta ciudad había sido recientemente destrozada por un terremoto el año anterior. Aun así, la riqueza de su cultura y la calidad de vida todavía prevalecía a pesar de las condiciones. Aquí trabajamos con los estudiantes de la embajada global estudiantil. Su devoción a los jardines de la escuela y la mejora del estado ecológico de su comunidad fueron

A’s Opening Day Día de Apertura de los A’s By / por Stina Hokenson Hey it’s April again and that means it’s time for BASEBALL! “Batter up!” Opening Day at Oakland’s Coliseum with the Oakland Athletics (Go A’s!) opened in grand fashion on Monday, April 3, with thousands of A’s fans and guests. Before the main event, a good friend and I joined in for a beautiful late afternoon and evening, starting with delicious wine and food pairing in the spacious Eastside Clubhouse, which featured Bay Area fine restaurants and wineries. We were happily surprised with a guest appearance by Stomper, the As Elephant Mascot, who enjoyed meeting the fans and having his picture taken with them at the Oakland Zoo booth. The Coliseum had been spruced up a bit since last season, and there were new food vendors to visit (lower prices on some things even!), and Food Trucks were added into the mix. It was fun to see all the new improvements. The evening was also about honoring not just one, but two Kings from the Baseball Hall of Fame: • The first tribute was to posthu mously honor San Leandro’s own broadcasting legend, Bill King, who was just voted into the Hall of Fame. He began announcing for Bay Area teams in the early 1960s, finishing his long career at the A’s games, where he used to exclaim “Holy Toledo!” when A’s players would hit a homer. • The second celebration was to honor one of Oakland’s own, the renowned Steal King, Rickey Henderson, by naming the baseball field after him. Rickey stole 1,406 bases in his career. He entered the stadium flanked by fireworks from the outfield gate and progressed to the podium where they revealed the Rickey Henderson Field sign to him. The icing on the cake was the Oakland A’s taking their first season game with a 4-2 win over the LA Angels. I am so looking forward to the rest of the season – Go As!!!

Hey, ya es abril otra vez y esto significa que es tiempo de BÉISBOL! ¡Todos listos! Los Atléticos de Oakland (¡Vamos A’s!) abrieron la temporada con una gran inauguración en el Coliseo de Oakland el lunes 3 de abril con miles de fans e invitados. Un buen amigo y yo nos reunimos antes del evento principal, era una tarde muy bonita. Comenzamos con un vino muy rico y una comida deliciosa en el espacioso lado este del Clubhouse,el cual cuenta con finos restaurantes y vinos. Nos llevamos una grata sorpresa cuando nos visitó un invitado especial, Stomper la mascota elefante, quien disfrutó saludando a los fans tomándose fotos con ellos en la cabina del zoológico de Oakland. El Coliseo fue reestructurado después de la temporada pasada y ahora había nuevos vendedores de alimentos (¡algunos con precios reducidos!), también nuevos camiones de comida fueron añadidos. Fue divertido ver todos los cambios y mejoras. También aprovechamos la velada para honrar no solo a uno, sino a dos “King” del Salón de la Fama del Béisbol: • El primero fue un homenaje póstumo a la leyenda de radio de San Leandro, Bill King, quien acababa de ser seleccionado para formar parte del Salón de la Fama. This season our San Francisco Giants are working harder to get back in shape and prove they can do better than an “even year” to win another Championship. Together with the “usual suspects” of likable players like Buster Posey, Hunter Pence, Brandon Belt and Brandon Crawford, the Giants are aiming high to get another ring. Our Otis McAllister Oakland office has an annual office tradition of going to several games in San Francisco every season to help support the team in “Orange and Black.” Let’s go Giants!

The Warriors Championship Los Guerreros

The Golden State Warriors, also known as the “Dubs”, lived up to their name once again; a true warrior is resilient and does not understand giving up. Defeat from last season only stoked the fire to build more confidence and the desire to win. This season the Warriors proved they had what it took to win big, without any excuses. The Warriors did it again and won another Championship! By adding a new face to the roster, the “Splash Brothers” Stephen Curry and Clay Thompson were joined together with former Oklahoma Thunder Kevin Durant to form a stronger, more focused “super” team! The Warriors now sport another ring and giving Durant his first. A lot of familiar faces like Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston continued to dominate “in the paint” and contribute by sinking baskets. Showing our spirit and love for the Warriors, our Otis-McAllister Oakland office proudly sported their gear to help support the team. Let’s go Dubs! Great job!

Everyone in our Oakland Headquarters gathered in early April to throw Anneka McClane a wonderful baby shower, complete with cake and competition! The cake part is selfexplanatory, but you are probably asking yourself what about the competition? Well, in typical Otis McAllister corporate culture style, a competition was put together to see just how well each of us knows each other in a baby shower theme way. Jessica Koppel, Domestic Sales Manager, asked everyone to consider bringing in a baby picture (or a very young photo of themselves) to which a contest would be held to see who could earn the highest score for the most number of accurate matches. It sounds like an easy task, but there were many people who studied the photographs intensely for over ten minutes and still couldn’t figure out half of the matching possibilities.

Such training is time intensive and tricky to pull off if you do not have the right people to guide you along the paths necessary to acquire new knowledge. Luckily, Otis McAllister has AcademyX (www.academyx.com) to help. Since 2011, Otis McAllister has helped its employees attend 1,812 hours of on-the-job training for programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and SQL. With topics assisting in day-to-day organization, graphics design, and data analysis, this training has had a tremendous impact in keeping our employees’ skills up-to-date and leveraging our existing tools to accomplish tasks we never thought possible. And taking advantage of California’s generous ETP (California Employment Training Panel) (https://etp.ca.gov/) grant program means that of those 1,812 hours, 912 of them were 100% free.

Helping us navigate the training process is Anita Wu, the Branch Manager for AcademyX’s San Francisco location. Anita has been with AcademyX for three years and handles such duties as scheduling for San Jose and San Francisco offices, helping students choose the courses that would most benefit them, and maintaining the ETP grant program of which Otis McAllister is just one of many participants. Anita says that when looking for educators she “look(s) for people who have the ability to clearly explain concepts in more than one way and feel comfortable answering questions. Expertise is important, but an instructor that is able to convey information in a clear way is much more important. And since everyone learns a little differently, being able to explain concepts in multiple ways can help you get your point across more effectively to more students.” Anita has become a member of our extended family (and if you look through our Spring, 2017 issue’s photos you may even see her dressed as Cookie Monster), and AcademyX is a valued partner to Otis McAllister. We look forward to many more years of working alongside them to keep our employees as proficient and skilled as possible.

La experiencia es importante, pero un instructor que es capaz de transmitir información de una manera clara es mucho más importante. Y ya que todo el mundo aprende un poco diferente, ser capaz de explicar los conceptos de múltiples maneras puede ayudar a transmitir las ideas de una manera más eficaz a más estudiantes “. Gene Russell

joined Otis McAllister on April 17th and comes from a background of working with outstanding national brands. He has spent his career working in food and beverages with great brands such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi-Cola, Frito-Lay, Cape Cod, Bertolli, and La Tortilla Factory. Gene has led sales organizations across the US, and Canada and enjoys building great teams. Those teams have been successful outlining and executing strategies to increase distribution in retail outlets. Gene says the key to success in being a #1 consumer product company is accomplished by working as One Team, with One Goal, Winning Together. It was during the interview process that Gene says he could see and feel the excitement within the culture at Otis McAllister. “It is a winning environment and I could not wait to become a member of the team!” In 2008, Gene was certified as a Master of Managed Change. “The ability to help others embrace an everchanging market internally and externally is an important element of persuading decision-making with retailers,” states Gene. Among Gene’s past responsibilities was establishing and developing National Sales teams at La Tortilla Factory and Deoleo, Inc. in which Change Management was in the forefront of those transitions. Gene’s interests include College BB and Football (UNC Tar Heels), NHL (Tampa Bay Lightning), MLB, Golf, and Boating. Gene and his wife Rhonda live right off Tampa Bay and enjoy relaxing and watching incredible sunsets over the water right off the patio! In their spare time they enjoy entertaining the kids and grandkids in the warm Florida sunshine.

Giselle Stern was born and raised in New York.

After a brief stint in Chicago, she moved with her husband to Mexico, where she lived for ten years. She taught English in private schools in Mexico City and also worked for an experiential study-abroad program based in Cuernavaca, Morelos. During that time, Giselle and her husband Roberto started up a bit of a cat craze and at one point had five cats as pets. Giselle arrived to California in 2011 and experienced life on West Coast for the very first time. Her and Roberto presently live in East Oakland. In addition to previous Executive Assistant positions, Giselle also worked for many years in the non-profit sector, in the area of fundraising and development. Prior to arriving to Otis McAllister, Giselle was the Development Director for an organization that provided free and low-cost legal services to immigrants. Giselle loves reading, writing, soccer, pretzels, watching TV and laughter.

Jack Iles (middle)

as a permanent member of our Otis McAllister family. A year ago, we introduced Jack as our Summer intern, but now, upon graduating from Saint Mary’s College of California Summa Cum Laude he will be joining us full time! Jack will be focusing his work on The Good Cider project, but is eager to lend himself to whatever other projects may need an extra hand. While not working, Jack enjoys being outdoors and reading. Hiking, fly fi shing, bi ke ri ding, barbequing, and the like – anything to get a little summer sun. Eventually Jack aspires to make a brief return to the contemplative life and get a joint MBA and J.D. degree, but for the time being he’s excited to start this next chapter of his life here at Otis McAllister.

Queremos darle la bienvenida formalmente a Jack Iles como miembro permanente de nuestra familia Otis McAllister. We’d like to welcome Pricing/Financial Analyst Matt Zanger (left) to the Otis family. Matt lives in the East Bay, and has worked in a variety of industries, leading projects in solar, technology, and beverage. He has a Bachelor’s in Finance from the California State University, Chico. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling up and down the coast, watching baseball games, reading his Kindle, and riding his bike.

We are very happy to introduce Paola Perez (right), Project Manager and Innovation in our La Sirena canned seafood division. When you first meet Paola, you notice two things; her Spanish accent and her enthusiasm. Paola would be the first to correct you about her accent, she is in fact from the Basque region of Spain. Having left her home country in 2008 for volunteer work in Togo (Africa) and subsequently a program at the University of California at Berkeley she has been able to keep her curiosity for travel and new experiences alive and well. Paola's closest friends (she says she's known them all since she was "two days old") would be the first to tell you that they were surprised that she was the first of their group to be married. Like all great romances Paola's started off...at a bar. She met her now hubby in a Marina Bar in San Francisco. Visa requirements and maybe the shark-like necessity to keep moving found her landing a job in Chicago in 2010. That job eventually gave way to her following her passions to open her own business; a Spanish Restaurant and an Online Wine Store. In 2014, she married in a medieval castle in Bilbao; while on her honeymoon, the pair came to the decision to raise a family back in the Bay Area. Paola is now the proud mother of twins, Alice & Matthew. Paola is thrilled to be working across multiple markets and cultures. Since she was a child she has set out to visit a new country every year. She has an inherent desire to meet and understand all that cross her path. She has maintained her bohemian beliefs (wore dreadlocks as a teen) with her sensibility toward business throughout her career and although her jokes are never as good as she thinks they are, you can’t help but find yourself laughing along with her.

Las mejores amigas de Paola (o como ella las define, amigas que conoce desde que tiene dos días de vida) fueron las primeras en mostrar su asombro al ver a Paola siendo la primera de la “cuadrilla” en casarse. Como todo gran romance, éste empezó en …un bar. Ella conoció a su marido en un bar en Marina, san Francisco. Debido a los requisitos de la Visa y quizás sus insaciables ganas de seguir moviéndose, aterrizó en Chicago en el 2010. El trabajo la ayudó a descubrir que aquel era el momento adecuado para seguir su pasión y abrir su propio negocio, un restaurante de comida española y una tienda online de vino español. En el 2014 se casó en un castillo medieval en Bilbao; y durante la luna de miel la pareja tomó la decisión de formar una familia en la Costa Oeste. Paola es ahora madre orgullosa de gemelos, Alice & Matthew. Paola está encantada de trabajar para una empresa con múltiples mercados y culturas. Desde que era una niña se ha marcado un objetivo: conocer un nuevo país cada año. Ella cuenta con un deseo inexplicable de conocer y entender las diferentes culturas. Paola ha mantenido sus creencias bohemias (incluso tuvo rastas de joven) con sensatez a través de sus negocios y carrera profesional. Por último, debe mencionarse que sus bromas nunca son tan buenas como ella cree, aunque no podrás hacerla cambiar de opinión, así que ¡ríete con ella!

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” -Dr. Seuss On March 26th, we celebrated Nick Tamma’s retirement at the Duty Free Show of the Americas in Orlando, Florida. While hosting a party for over 70 industry people including key travel retail customers and vendors, we took time to thank Nick for all his contributions to the business. He was presented with a Viking head set from our Scandinavian dinner guests, along with many toasts. Otis also gave a gift to Nick for golfing in Carmel, as well as many more thanks and toasts. We thank Nick for all his work, contributions and fun at Otis over the years. But not to worry, Nick will continue on consulting with us and maintains an office in our Fort Lauderdale office. El 26 de marzo celebramos la jubilación de Nick Tamma en el Duty Free Show de las Américas en Orlando, Florida. A la vez que acogíamos a más de 70 invitados de la industria incluyendo clientes claves, sacamos unos momentos para agradecerle a Nick por toda su contribución al negocio.
