With lighted fields striped for two soccer/lacrosse fields, this venue can also accommodate a wide variety of sports and other recreational activities.

Amenities include restroom and a concessions building adjacent to the fields.

Gordon Faber Recreation Complex (4400 NE 229th Ave., Hillsboro; 503-615-6536; hillsboro-oregon.gov/departments/parks-recreation/ our-facilities/gordon-faber-recreation-complex) The Gordon Faber Recreation Complex, adjacent to Highway 26, is a 90-acre multipurpose complex featuring stadium seating for 7,000 spectators. This venue boasts 170,000 square feet of lighted all-weather artificial turf, Ron Tonkin Field (home of Minor League Baseball’s Hillsboro Hops) and six lighted

natural-grass ball fields. Amenities include a seating for 1,500 spectators. Hanson Stadium Hanson Stadium is a recently renovated multisport facility with stadium seating for 1,100 spectators. The stadium features an all-weather lighted turf field and a nine-lane all-weather track with long-jump pits along the straightaway.

Amenities include press boxes with wireless Internet, wheelchair access via elevators and directional lighting on the field.

Chuck Bafaro Stadium Chuck Bafaro Stadium is a recently renovated baseball facility with stadium seating for 500 spectators. Amenities include press boxes with wireless Internet, wheelchair access via elevators, concession stands, enclosed bullpens, enclosed batting cages and equipment storage rooms.

Liberty High School (21945 NW Wagon Way, Hillsboro; 503-8441277; hsd.k12.or.us/liberty) Liberty High School in Hillsboro opened in 2003 and is home to several multi-purpose athletic facilities. The school features indoor bleacher seating for up to 3,000 spectators and outdoor covered stadium seating for 3,400 spectators. Amenities include covered dugouts, scoreboards, an enclosed press box and two concession facilities.

Indoor venues include a gym with one fullsize court used for basketball, volleyball and badminton, and a second gym with a shorter court for additional practice space and games, room for wrestling, and dance. Outdoor venues include three lighted turf fields, two unlighted grass fields, an all-weather eight-lane lighted track situated around the main turf field and four baseball fields (two lighted and regulation size).

Scoggins Valley Park/Henry Hagg Lake (50250 SW Scoggins Valley Rd., Gaston; 503359-5732; co.washington.or.us/Support_Services/ Facilities/Parks/Hagglake/) Perfect for triathlons, endurance races, boating, watersports and trout/ bass fishing, Scoggins Valley Park/Henry Hagg Lake is a 1,200-acre reservoir in the foothills of the Coast Range. Surrounding the lake are 15 miles of running, hiking and bicycling trails, 10.5 miles of which are paved.

Horning’s Fishing & Picnic Hideout (21277 NW Brunswick Canyon Rd., North Plains; 503-647-2920; horningshideout.com) Horning’s Fishing & Picnic Hideout is nestled in a picturesque wooded canyon. This unique venue is ideal for endurance races, such as mud runs, and features walking, running, biking and hiking trails, as well as stocked lakes. Horning’s Hideout also features three championship 18-hole disc golf courses, which include a permanent night course equipped with solar lights on tee pads and targets, making it perfect for professional disc golf tournaments.
