CAST MARY ANDERSON

Mary is a senior at Camas High School and is thrilled to be performing in her second year of Impulse. When Mary isn’t doing theatre, big sloppy welts appear all over her body and get REALLY itchy until she can’t be seen in public anymore and HAS to hide under her couch and eat little tiny peas that fall onto the floor. Thank goodness for the YP Company! Mary would like to thank her family, friends, castmates, and Dani Baldwin and Blake Wales for all their support.

SKY ARMSTRONG

Sky is a current junior at Franklin high school and a third year YP! You may have seen her in Impulse before, last year she was up in the booth and even on stage as the Impulse 16 stage manager! She is also a dancer at Dance at Franklin and has been a directing apprentice for some OCT main stage shows such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Dragons Love Tacos! Some of her favorite things are books, science, and her dog. She would like to thank Blake Wales and Dani Baldwin for this amazing experience and the cast of Impulse for endless laughter and love!

SIDRA COHEN-MALLON

Sidra is a junior at Sandy High School and a 2nd year YP. This is his first year in Impulse, and is so excited to make people chuckle. His debut role in the performance business was a monkey in the play Caps For Sale who stole hats off the head of an old man. He hopes to bring out that mischievous and fun spirit out in Impulse 17 and to stop having reoccurring dreams about the cheese bagels from Costco.

NIRMAY ANANTHA

Nirmay Anantha is a 17-yearold Portland native in his last year with OCT and the YP Company. In his time here he has worked on mainstage productions, YP’s Twelfth Night, and, of course, Impulse! He hopes to become a doctor someday and is painstakingly crawling on his hands and knees through senior year to his graduation. Look for the hair.

OLIVER CHALLY

Oliver is a third-year Young Professional and a senior at Catlin Gabel. He most recently served as the dramaturgy/ directing apprentice to the YP production of SPIDER and has previously worked on the YP productions of Twelfth Night as a lighting apprentice and Pestilence: Wow! As Raoul. Oliver has always enjoyed making things up, taking his first improv class at OCT many years ago, and now he is incredibly grateful to be a part of Impulse 17!

RUTH SIVIGLIA

Ruth is a junior at Oregon Episcopal School and a 2nd year YP. Most recently she’s performed in the YP production of Pestilence: Wow! and her school production of Into the Woods. Outside of acting she likes to play guitar, sew, seed chaos, chase her dog around the house and avoid emails from her college counselor. She’s so glad to be a part of Impulse 17 and would like to send many thanks to Blake, Erin, Nick and Dani and her amazing castmates!

CAST DYLAN MOJO

Dylan started his career on the giant Keller stage as the tiny little Bunny in OBT’s Nutcracker, followed by a Door in Alice in Wonderland (directed by the Kennedy Center’s Septime Weber), a Dog in Wrinkle in Time, and Bottom the Donkey in Midsummer Night’s Dream (at the Vancouver School of Arts & Academics). He is grateful to Blake and Dani for letting him be a human at OCT (…although his role in YP’s SPIDER did include briefly playing, well, a Spider). Other human roles include costarring in the upcoming feature film The Legend of Catclaws Mountain with Dee Wallace (E.T.) and James Duval (Donnie Darko), and Adam in the HBO series The Rehearsal. Fun fact: he’s never had soda or eaten at McDonalds.

ETHAN THOMPSON

Ethan is a fourth year YP and a senior at Sam Barlow High School. You might have seen him in YP’s The Mad Ones as Adam. Ethan is so excited to be a part of Impulse 17, and would like to thank Dani for her hard work in providing countless opportunities through the Young Professionals Company.

JOSIE OVERSTREET

Josie is so excited to make her Impulse debut! She is a first year YP, and a freshman at Central Catholic High School. Some of her favorite roles have been Dragon in Shrek The Musical (NWCT Catalyst), And Martha in The Secret Garden (CC Drama). When she’s not busy being an academic weapon, Josie enjoys practicing her Japanese skills and drinking Diet Coke. She’d like to thank her friends (EEJJ!) for supporting her delusions, and Blake, Dani, Erin, and Nick for making this an unforgettable experience!

LEAH WICK

Leah Wick, a second year YP, is ecstatic to be part of Impulse 17, making it her second YP show after performing as Kelly in The Mad Ones last year. When not improvising with her amazing Impulse friends, she enjoys painting, watching movies, record collecting, and video editing. She’d like to thank her directors, friends, and family for supporting her throughout this wonderful experience and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

CREATIVE TEAM BLAKE WALES

This is Blake’s sixth year directing Impulse and is a former Impulse member. He is an alumni of the Young Professionals Company and the current Education Director at OCT. He received his BFA Degree from Adelphi University and studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Improv is the backbone of Blake’s teaching which he has taken across the globe as a teaching artist, arts administrator and American Sign Language interpreter. Many thanks to Dani Baldwin and his family for their constant support.

GRETA VAN ECK

Greta is in her second year of high school and her second year as a Young Professional. She has had an amazing time working on Impulse and hopes you enjoy the show!

DANI BALDWIN

Dani is thrilled to watch a 17th season of Impulse! Dani is an award-winning director and actor who occasionally does costume and prop design. Outside of OCT, she has performed with Love Street Playhouse, PassinArt Theatre, Sojourn Theatre, and she’s a regular improv actor with Kaiser Permanente. Dani wants to thank the exceptional cast and crew, along with their wonderful directors Blake and Nick!

NICK CONDON

Nick Condon has been improvising, teaching, directing and coaching for over 25 years. A Minneapolis native, he studied and performed at The Brave New Workshop, the country’s longest running satirical comedy theatre, where he first discovered long form improv. In 2006 he moved to Talkeetna, Alaska where he served as Creative Director of Denali Drama and Iditaprov. While in Alaska he produced, directed, taught, and performed theatre and improv all over the state. He moved to Portland in June of 2016 and is thrilled to have found such a great home in the Portland improv community. It’s here where he created his solo show Solitaire, the one man one act play and The Nancy Boys Mysteries. When not in Portland, he can be seen performing, coaching and teaching customized improv workshops all over the world.

ERIN MACGILLIVRAY

Erin is a Portland area stage manager and costume designer. Her previous work with Oregon Children’s Theatre includes production stage management for WROL and Twelfth Night, and being the Production Coordinator for DNA. She has also stage managed for Original Practice Shakespeare and Milagro, as well as been a production assistant at Artists Repertory Theatre. As a former YP, Erin is thrilled to be able to mentor young stage managers!
