Indéniablement « the place to be » sur les pistes de Courchevel. Carte alléchante (on fond pour ses plateaux de fruits de mer), cave à vins hors norme et ambiance survoltée avec DJ sets à 2100 m d’altitude … un incontournable ! Undeniably “the place to be” on the slopes of Courchevel: a mouth-watering menu (try the seafood platter!), an exceptional wine selection and an electric atmosphere, with DJs playing their sets 2,100 m above sea level… don’t miss out!

J’ai un coach régulier qui skie avec moi tous les ans. Je skie seulement avec un coach, parce que c’est assez dangereux et il connaît toutes les pistes. Lorsque nous skiions en février dernier il faisait vraiment froid, -25°C, donc j’étais quasiment seule sur les pentes et c’était vraiment très beau. Mais dans les combinaisons de ski Odri vous ne gèlerez jamais même par -25°C. À Courchevel, beaucoup de mes amis ont leur propre chalet où je vais souvent pour une soirée après avoir skié. Pour être honnête, après un jour de ski je n’ai plus de force pour aller danser et m’amuser donc je préfère rendre visite à mes amis.

Pour moi Courchevel c’est des vacances sportives : ski en priorité et pas de divertissement.

LE TREMPLIN

As for the coach, I have a regular coach who rides with me every year.

I ride only with a coach, because it is quite dangerous and he knows all the tracks. When we were riding last February it was very cold, about 25° below zero. I was practically alone on the slopes because of the cold, but it was very beautiful. But in Odri ski suits you won't freeze even in 25° below zero. In Courchevel, many of my friends have their own chalets where I usually go for a party after a ride. To be honest, after a skiing day I have no strength to go dancing and having fun so I prefer visiting my friends. For me, Courchevel is a sport holiday: ski in the first place and not an entertainment.

À la carte, des spécialités locales mais également une cuisine d’inspiration asiatique. Le plus ? Les créations du maître sushi, avouez qu’en montagne, ce n’est pas commun ! On the end of La Croisette in Courchevel, the restaurant’s ambiance is the main attraction; be it out on the terrace or in the restaurant’s cosy atmosphere. As for the menu, a number of local specialties figure alongside cuisine of Asian inspiration. Finally, enjoy a (literally) rare experience in the mountains: sushi, served by a Master-Chef!

Il y en a de toutes sortes à Courchevel.

Cela peut être en journée au Cap Horn ou au Nammos, en soirée dans un chalet ou dans l’un de mes restaurants favoris comme Le Cendrée ou Nama au Mélézin.

QUELLE EST VOTRE EXPÉRIENCE LA PLUS MAGIQUE À COURCHEVEL ?

Quand je pense à Courchevel, c’est toujours l’excellence du service disponible partout et tout le temps sur la montagne qui me vient en tête. Que ce soit la préparation le matin à l’hôtel pour aller skier, ou pendant la journée sur les pistes avec mon moniteur, ou le transport de et

vers Courchevel 1850.

Je trouve que Courchevel est la meilleure station en termes de services, ski et divertissement après-ski.

QUELS SONT VOS « MUST HAVE » POUR SKIER AVEC STYLE ?

J’aime aussi être à la pointe de la mode sur les pistes. Mon équipement de ski et ma tenue varient selon le moment du jour.

Mon must have, ma paire de ski sur mesure Bogner et mes bottes de ski surmesure.

Pour la combinaison je privilégie Prada, Fendi et Moncler.

WHAT IS YOUR GO-TO VENUE IN COURCHEVEL? For me, the perfect evening starts with cocktails with friends in the hall of my hotel, followed by late dinner at La Mangeoire. I enjoy spending the entire night there.

WHERE DOES ONE HEAD FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS? Courchevel boasts a variety of options. In the daytime, try Le Cap Horn or Nammos.

Evening events call for a chalet or one of my favourite restaurants, including La Cendrée or Le Nama at Le Mélézin Hotel.

WHAT IS THE MOST MAGICAL ASPECT OF COURCHEVEL? When I think of Courchevel, I picture high-quality service, readily available at all times right across the mountain; be it in the mornings when gearing up for a day of skiing, throughout the day on the slopes with an instructor and even on the road to and from Courchevel 1850.

I consider Courchevel to be the best skiing resort in terms of service, skiing and après-ski entertainment.

WHAT ARE YOUR “MUST-HAVES” TO SKI IN STYLE? I like to be at the height of fashion, even on the slopes. My skiing equipment and clothes vary depending on the time of day. My true must-haves are my pair of custom-made Bogner skis and custom-made ski boots. As for my outfit, I’ll generally opt for Prada, Fendi and Moncler.

Pour l’hiver sur les pistes, la griffe au F mythique décline des créations ultra confortables et, question style, juste ce qu’il faut de pop et décalé pour démontrer que la première chose à faire avec la mode, c’est de s’amuser.

This slope is an ode to freedom. It starts off at 2,700 metres of altitude… Enjoy the view over Mont Blanc on one side and over the 3 Vallées on the other. With its steep slopes, small paths, mogul fields and other types of snowy terrain, La Combe de la Saulire is a condensed version of the entire 3 Vallées.

The run starts off steep, before widening out onto the flat and offering various possible itineraries. On the side of the slopes, deep untouched snow is sure to draw any skier towards it. All of these observations point to a particular choice of skis: the Atomic Vantage 86 TI or the Bomber Pro Terrain. These two pairs of all-mountain skis offer great performance and will prove great allies for adapting to any condition.

S’il est une adresse à privilégier à la nuit tombée, c’est bien le GreenGo, ce club légendaire des grandes heures de la station suisse. Inauguré dans les géniales années 70 en plein cœur du Gstaad Palace, le premier night-club du village huppé a fait danser toute une génération de happy few dont l’iconique Lady Diana. Un grand habitué, Peter Sellers, a immortalisé la photogénie du lieu dans « Le Retour de la Panthère rose » en 1975. Aujourd’hui, le DJ résident « Jim Leblanc » vous fait vivre des nuits endiablées sous des lumières orangées purement disco.

If there is one place to go at night, it is definitely Le GreenGo: the club is a legendary part of the resort’s nightlife. The famous village saw its first ever nightclub open at the heart of the Gstaad Palace during the 70s’ Disco Era. Here, the “happy few” generation came to let loose, including a certain Lady Diana. One of the club’s regular clients, Peter Sellers immortalised the location in “The return of the Pink Panther” in 1975. Today, resident DJ “Jim Leblanc” will have you dancing through the night amid the orange-flared, distinctly Disco decor.

pectaculaire, grandiose, immaculé. Le domaine skiable Glacier 3000, situé entre 1350 et 3000 mètres d’altitude, vaut le coup d’œil. Son panorama unique à 360 degrés offre le Mont Blanc ou le Matterhorn à admirer, une fois perché au sommet. On y grimpe en téléphérique depuis le col du Pillon, un voyage - déjà - époustouflant jusqu’au fameux restaurant gastronomique Botta, du nom de l’architecte suisse de cet étonnant bâtiment sur 3 étages digne d’un James Bond. by Tissot, une passerelle vertigineuse de 107 mètres flottant au cœur des cimes, la seule au monde reliant deux sommets. Une aventure inoubliable qui ne s’arrête pas là puisque le domaine offre 28 kilomètres de pistes à couper le souffle, ouvertes d’octobre à mai, des promenades en traineaux à chiens et des tours en hélicoptère.

The spectacular, grandiose, immaculate slopes of Glacier 3000 are situated between 1,350 and 3,000 metres above sea level and are definitely worth the climb. From the top, the unique 360-degree panorama includes Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn. Take a cable car up from Col du Pillon and enjoy a magnificent ascent to Botta gastronomy restaurant, which looks like it came straight out of a James Bond movie. This astonishing 3-story building was named after the Swiss architect who designed it. If it’s adrenaline you’re looking for, head to the Peak Walk by Tissot: a vertiginous 107 metre-long gangway, floating between the mountaintops. It is the only pathway in the world to join two summits directly together. The adventure continues on the glacier’s 28 kilometres of ski slopes. Its nine slopes are open from October to May. Dogsledding and helicopter tours are also available.
