At this stage, a solution out of the three proposed needs to be chosen to lock in the program and functions to be developed for the project. The research center solution is slightly over done and literal, but it is not unusable. The campus idea, though, is too unrealistic for the required area of 5,000 sqm, and is too large to be designed to completion as a thesis project.
The chosen solution is the insertion of an exhbition and researchpavilionintothecityasapublicspacetoserve as an injection of organic morphology into the urban fabric, and will take programmatic elements from the first two case studies to develop its functions.
