Maui Jim got its start in 1980 as a small company selling sunglasses on the beach in Lahaina, Hawaii. Fitting Time Offerings
EVENT STAFFING
Maui Jim staffs your event based on the number of guests receiving sunglasses versus the amount of time we are fitting your guests. The best way to use this gifting experience is as an activity as well as a gift. The reactions and excitement generated when everyone is together choosing their sunglasses is unmatched. A welcome reception is a great moment for this gift because it helps set the tone for the full event. It’s an ice breaker, a networking activity, and a gift they will never forget!
The maximum amount of time we can provide staff for a group this size is listed in the below guidelines. However, when done with the intent of creating excitement and showing appreciation, you won’t need the full amount of time.
FITTING TIME GUIDELINE BY NUMBER OF GUESTS
50-99 people: 2-3 hour time window over one day
100-249 people: 2-6 hour time window over one day
250-499 people: 4-8 hour time window over one day
500-799 people: 5-10 hour time window over one to two days
800-999 people: 6-12 hour time window over one to two days
1,000-1,500 people: Discuss event logistics with your sales manager to determine the right amount of time for your group
TRACKING WHO HAS RECEIVED SUNGLASSES
We will ask you for a list of attendees. Our staff will indicate who has received sunglasses, and who has not. Our reps can then consolidate their lists and tell you who still needs to pick up sunglasses.
A GUIDE TO A SEAMLESS ONSITE EXPERIENCE
We are a team. We want your recipients fit with sunglasses as much as you do! Help us by reviewing the list throughout your onsite experience and gathering the recipients that still need to pick out their sunglasses.
POST EVENT SERVICES
What happens if a participant misses the fitting? Maui Jim offers digital redemption via a link through our digital experience or e-codes. Be prepared and determine the best options for your group with your Maui Jim Sales Manager before your guests miss the fitting.

It’s the perfect personal touch that your attendees will associate with you each time they put on their sunglasses. We can even personalize cases, pouches, and cleaning cloths.*
