J: Hard to say, there were just so many. If I had to choose, probably ‘He’ by Jai Paul. A: Kelsey Lu - Why Knock For You. The Dixon remix is also fantastic, but it was all about what was in the original already for me.
Best Album 2019?
J: Damn, also a difficult question. It came out pretty recently but I think Floating Points album ‘Crush’ has made a big impression on me. A: I don’t think I’ve heard it yet - there’s still a couple weeks to make a call on that question.
Best Label 2019? J: Illian Tapes. A: Exit Strategy.
Your best set in 2019. Where did you do? J: Kater Blau, Berlin in November was a special one for us. A: The smaller room vibe at Kater was great, but I have to mention Lighthouse Festival in Croatia too.
Best set you’ve ever seen this 2019?
J: Eris Drew & Octo Octa at Lighthouse Festival Croatia 2019. The love these two have for one another and the music they play is really inspiring. A: Italo Johnson at Else in Berlin summer was a rave!
Something you wouldn’t want to repeat what happened to you in 2019?
J: Leaving my laptop on a train. Don’t worry, I got it back. A: 1st of May.
