The best place for a photograph? Among the lights in the shadows, or the shadows in the lights.
¿El lugar que quieres visitar para hacer fotos? Siempre aquel que tenga las menos pisadas del hombre “moderno” posibles.
Somewhere that you want to visit to take photos? I will always choose anywhere that has been as little trodden by ‘modern’ man as possible.
¿A quién te gustaría fotografiar? Michael Jackson pero no en concierto, sino en su intimidad, en su casa… creo que hubiese sido super divertido.
Who would you like to photograph? Michael Jackson, but not in concert, rather when he was alone at home; I think that he would have been great fun
¿Tu mejor foto fue con? Tengo maravillosos momentos de estos 15 años fotografiando en Ibiza. Me lo pase super bien fotografiando a Idris Elba en Pikes, o captar a todos los miembros de Rudimental saltando a los dos minutos de haber empezado el concierto, o los 11 años de openings/closings de Space que fotografié, o cuando Lady Gaga actuó en Eden y yo no tenía ni idea quien era para semejante “sarao” que se montó... (risas) esto hablando de mi trabajo en Ibiza en la parte comercial.
Your best photo was with? I have marvellous moments from these 15 years taking photographs in Ibiza. I had a great time photographing Idris Elba in Pikes or snapping all the members of Rudimental jumping just two minutes after having started a concert, or the 11 years of opening and closing parties in Space or when Lady Gaga performed at Eden and I had no idea who it was, what an uproar that caused... (laughs). I am talking about my work in Ibiza, the commercial aspect.
En mi fotografía personal también tengo millones de momentos más, pero la verdad, ni en un caso ni en el otro, no creo haber hecho aún mi mejor foto.
In my personal photography, I have millions more moments but the truth is that it is neither one thing nor the other; I do not believe that I have taken my best photo yet.
