ROAD TO THE GREAT OUTDOORS LEADERSHIP
• This course will help you build on the skills learnt on the previous course. You will become more of a leader and be able to delegate to others, you will be able to also build on respect, help with general practical outdoor work and lead teams, which will improve communication, self-esteem and give you the confidence to progress further in the pathway you wish to pursue.
ROAD TO COLLEGE
• Being independent and building skills.

• Introduction to college life.

• Trips and visits.
• E-communications.
• Preparing to start a full time course.
ROAD TO THE GREAT OUTDOORS
• This course will teach you how to respect others, help with general practical outdoor work, improve communication, self-esteem and give you the confidence to progress.
ROAD TO CHILDCARE
This course will develop understanding of early years childcare and help prepare you for future studies in Childcare. Looking at themes in early child development, key elements of EYFS for children 0-5 years.
Includes Cooking sessions: how to prepare food for / with young children that encourages healthy habits.
Includes crafting sessions: how to encourage child development through creative play.
Includes employability sessions: career guidance, CV and application writing, interview preparation.
SUPPORTED INTERNSHIPS
• A pathway into paid employment.
• Gain skills in the workplace 5 days a week, learning for future employment with a mentor and work buddy.
• Have a job coach to support you in the workplace.
• Learn vital interview skills and build a CV.
LIFEWORKS
• For students 18 years + with an EHCP.
• Gain a range of work experience from different placements and trips in the community.




• Hone your life skills in preparation for independent living.
• Business challenges and craft projects.
• Photography and setting up an exhibition.
ROAD TO EMPLOYMENT
• Developing employability skills: IT, customer service and administrative.
• Explore key business themes: marketing, advertising, selling in an enterprise project.
• Includes employability sessions: career guidance, CV and application writing, interview preparation.
• Includes managing money sessions: payroll, banking, budgeting, finance and safety.
Please note these courses are designed to meet the needs of our students and will be adapted to meet their abilities and interests.
