Ou seja, sempre que abrimos uma revista de skate portuguesa, ou assistimos a um programa de "desportos radicais" (assim lhe chamam), aparecem sempre os mesmos e as pseudó lendas do skate (como os amigos que são, donos de revistas ou outro media lhes chamam). Isso não é informação, mas sim controlo de informação, visto que em Portugal há imensos skaters e clubes\associações em varias partes do País que não tem reconhecimento (ou não convém por assim dizer). Olá Vitor obrigado por aceitares o nosso convite podes fazer uma pequena apresentação, donde és quantos anos tens, a quantos anos praticas skate e qual a tua modalidade? Eu é que agradeço o convite! Bem tenho 8 anos e comecei a praticar skate á 3 anos e meio. Brinquei pela primeira vez quando tinha dois anos e pouco pra conhecer, mas acabei andando de bicicleta com 2 anos e aos 3 ganhei um quadriciclo Suzuki, antes de completar 4 anos ganhei uma yamaha cross, íamos nas pistas de motocross aprender a andar. Assisti ao Xgames com 4 anos e meu pai me levou a Mega rampa com quase 5 anos, foi ai que escolhi em definitivamente que minha paixão pelo skate tinha batido forte em meu coração. Bem voltando a origem... fomos ao shopping Aricanduva e lá tinha uma pista chamada Plasma, assisti por alguns minutos e meu pai me perguntou se realmente gostaria de comprar um skate, a resposta foi positiva mais do que rápido !! A partir daí comecei a conhecer as pistas indoor pois na rua em plena São Paulo é muito perigoso, após algumas semanas um amigo do meu pai indicou uma pista na qual havia aulas para iniciantes. Meu pai me levou e o dono Celso Galani, falou para o meu pai que não dava aulas a crianças tão jovens. Pois não se concentravam e eram dispersos, como eu já andava de moto a voz do meu pai era meu alarme para qualquer momento ou área de perigo. Assim desde a primeira aula fui com toda a atenção e em poucos meses, ele me liberou de aulas, com os próprios amigos de sessão aprendia várias !!kkkkk. As competições foram muito importantes... primeiro por diversão, depois me dei conta que lá rolava altas manobras e logo aprendia algumas novas. Sempre em vertical e mini ramp. Em que ano começaste a skatar? Especifico!? mais ou menos meio de 2010. Qual foi o teu 1º skate? Meu primeiro skate foi um da URGH, comprado na Central surf, loja da pista Plasma.
Spot Favorito? Minha pista favorita.... acho que é o bowl do Pedro Barros a mais cabreira que já andei !! Trick favorito? O trick do momento é o Miller flip. Para ti com quem fazias uma session killer? Lincoln Ueda é o atleta, a quem me espelho !!
Quem foram as tuas influências no sk8? Bem minha primeira influência foi meu pai que andava a 25 anos atrás e depois com as estórias de pros e lendas, passei a admirar muitos outros atletas e lendas do skate. O principal skater pra mim é o Lincoln Ueda, além de ser da época do meu pai, o estolo e aéreos são insanos, já vi ao vivo no lançamento dos trucks Crail no half do Roni Gomes. Que tipo de musica curtes? Curto Rock'n roll nas sessions como todo mundo eu acho !!kkkk Iron maden é um dos principais!!
Tenho que te dizer, tens muita sorte em ter ai halfpipes que tens para skatar por ai na Braza, a Urgh Tent Vert House entre muitas outras, aqui em Portugal infelizmente não temos a mesma sorte, os poucos halfs que há em Portugal estão a apodrecer e as autarquias não nos ajudam muito nesse aspecto. Quando começas-te a andar no vert, sentiste-te intimidado ou foi tudo natural como te sentisses um peixe dentro de água? Bem meu berço é a Pista Red Beach onde comecei e treino até hoje um mini ramp e um bank's muito técnico que levei muito tempo a desfrutar de todas as suas curvas. Hoje faço parte do team Urgh e muito orgulhoso de ser o mais jovem atleta a ingressar na team, aos 7 anos. Que tem uma das mais belas pistas de São Paulo com um Half pipe coberto e uma mini ramp muito legal, minha segunda casa!!! No vertical também foi com naturalidade ... meu pai andava no bowl da Polato onde o Ueda andava, era muito cabreiro, acho por isso não teve muito stress. Dropei o half quando completei 7 anos, já competi o circuito brasileiro de Half pipe, fechei o ano em 6 lugar e fui campeão brasileiro de bank's também ano passado. Lembro-me de ver em vídeos que eras mais novo, bem pequeno ah! ah! Os teus pais quando começas-te, tinham medo que tu pudesses-te lesionar, ficaram muito na defensiva ou apoiaram bastante na tua escolha? Meus pais souberam lidar com muita naturalidade, acho que por começar a andar de bike aos 2 anos moto, aos 3 anos o skate seria mais seguro, e com os equipamentos, fica mais tranquilo que cair de moto por exemplo !! kkkkk.
Tu como a malta da tua idade\amigos como veem o “Grito da Rua” agora na vossa geração? O programa Grito da Rua é da época do meu pai ,onde juntavam os amigos e depois faziam uma sessão irada pra desenvolver as novas que viam na TV e hoje vejo com meu pai tudo o que rola e alguns amigos e conhecidos no programa. AHH eu fui no primeiro programa do Grito da Rua !!! sou fã desde o inicio !! Qual o teu objectivo enquanto skater, o que gostavas de conseguir com o skate? Meu sonho é me tornar profissional e meu desafio hoje é dropar a mega rampa. Os Pennywise formaram-se em 1988 em Hermosa Beach, Califórnia pelo cantor Jim Lindberg, pelo guitarrista Fletcher Dragge, pelo baterista Byron McMackin e pelo baixista Jason Thirsk (essa é a formação original). Todos os integrantes tinham tocado em outras bandas da região, e andaram na mesma escola. Hermosa Beach já tinha sido origem de outras bandas pioneiras de hardcore punk no final da década de 1970, como Black Flag, Circle Jerks e Descendents. Em 1989 lançaram pela Theologian Records dois EP, A Word from the Wise e Wildcard, influenciados por bandas como Minor Threat e Black Flag. Posteriormente a editora relançou os EP em um disco solo, "Wildcard/A Word from the Wise". Tendo ouvido a banda na rádio local da universidade, um DJ local indicou A Word from the Wise a Brett Gurewitz da Epitaph Records (e também guitarrista dos Bad Religion) e apesar de críticas não favoráveis ao EP, o grupo assinou contrato com a editora em 1990. Lançaram seu primeiro álbum no ano seguinte, Pennywise, que rapidamente espalhou-se pela comunidade punk americana.
As suas letras passavam uma mensagem positiva, ajudando a promover os ideais da Geração X. Lindberg deixou a banda logo após a gravação por questões pessoais: iria casar-se e o clima dos concertos punk não era o mais propício para a formação de uma família. Thirsk assumiu o vocal e o seu professor de baixo reuniu-se ao grupo, o baixista Randy Bradbury. Em 1992, o vocalista do The Vandals Dave Quackenbush assumiu o vocal da banda por um breve período. Bradbury deixou o grupo e Thirsk retornou ao baixo. Unknown Road foi lançado em 1993, e vendeu cerca de duzentas mil cópias, uma boa marca uma editora independente. A projeção da Epitaph os ajuda de forma considerável, conseguindo divulgar a sua música internacionalmente. Em torno de 1995, bandas punk como The Offspring e Rancid estavam na média e os Pennywise recusavam convites para integrar editoras maiores. Produzido por Brett Gurewitz, About Time foi lançado em 1995, outro hit da cena independente assim como Unknown Road. About Time além de ser considerado a "obra-prima" da banda, é destacado também por ser o último álbum com o baixista e principal letrista Jason Thirsk, que cometeria suicídio algum tempo depois.
Em meados de 1996 a banda começa a gravar o quarto álbum, e Thirsk deixa o grupo na tentativa de tratar problemas com alcoolismo. Apesar de bem sucedido, ele teve recaídas e se matou com um tiro no peito em 29 de julho de 1996. Seguido da morte de Thirsk, Bradbury volta à banda como membro permanente e participa dos próximos dois álbuns, Full Circle (1997) e Straight Ahead (1999). Este foi seguido de um álbum ao vivo, Live at the Key Club (2000), um concerto gravado no Key Club em Hollywood. Depois são lançados Land of the Free? (2001), influenciado pelos protestos de gru-pos antiglobalização e eleições na America, e From the Ashes (2003). Este foi marcado pelo falecimento inesperado do pai de Fletcher, que afetou o guitarrista e a rotina do grupo. Home Movies foi relançado em DVD em 2004, até então o único álbum de vídeo da banda. Lançado originalmente em 1995, estava fora de circulação desde 1997. O oitavo álbum da banda foi lançado em meados de 2005, The Fuse. A tour australiana foi cancelada, gerando rumores sobre o término do grupo, que Lindberg negou. No mesmo ano, foram lançadas versões dos quatro primeiros álbuns remasterizadas digitalmente. A banda retornou ao estúdio em 2007 para trabalhar no nono álbum, Reason to Believe, lançado em março de 2008. Em agosto de 2009, Jim Lindberg anuncia sua saída dos vocais dos Pennywise, depois de 19 anos como Frontman da banda. Para seu lugar eles anunciaram Zoli Teglas, vocal da banda de Hardcore/Punk Rock de Orange Country, California, Ignite.
Em Abril 2012, após um período de quatro anos, é lançando o álbum All or Nothing, o primeiro com a atual formação de grupo. No dia 29 de outubro de 2012, três anos após a sua saída, a banda anunciou a volta de Jim Lindberg aos vocais. Lindberg havia deixado os Pennywise em meados de 2009, após mais de 20 anos à frente do grupo, com a intenção de se dedicar a outros projetos. Neste meio tempo, o posto de vocalista foi preenchido por Zoli Téglás. No começo de 2012, no entanto, Téglás magoou-se num concerto na Alemanha, teve de ser operado e forçou a banda a cancelar diversas datas. Além disso, segundo o guitarrista Fletcher Dragge, Zoli Téglás já não estava mais querendo continuar nos Pennywise, tendo inclusive ligado para Lindberg, pedindo para que ele reassumisse o cargo.
O casal brasileiro skater: André Peixe e Carolyna Diaz criaram a RESUE SK8. Inspirados nos anéis criados por Guilherme Okamoto, decidiram trabalhar para o reaproveitamento de shapes partidos. Anéis, pulseiras, alargadores, brincos, colher de pau, etc.... todas peças feitas da madeira do shape reaproveitado. Uma grande ideia para reaproveitamento de Shapes inutilizados.

Hello Victor Thank you for accepting our invitation can give a short presentation, where are you from how old are you , how many years you practice skateboarding and what's your modality ? I do appreciate the invitation! Well I am 8 years old and started to skate will 3 ½ years. I ride for the first time when I was two years old and little to know, I begin riding a bike with 2 years to 3 and won a Suzuki ATV, before completing four years won a yamaha cross, going on ski learn to ride motocross. I watched the Xgames at 4 years old and my father took me to Mega ramp with almost 5 years, there was definitely that I the passion for skateboarding had beaten strong in my heart . Well back to origin ... went shopping Aricanduva and there was a store called Plasma, watched for a few minutes and my dad asked me if I would really like to buy a skateboard, the response was more positive than fast! From there I began to learn about the indoor rinks because the street in broad Sao Paulo is very dangerous after a few weeks a friend of my father pointed to a skatepark on which there were lessons for beginners. My father took me and the owner Celso Galani, told my father that taught the children that young. I gotta tell you , you're lucky to have al halfpipes you have to skate in Brazil in the Vert Urgh Tent House among many others, here in Portugal we have unfortunately not so lucky, the few halfs there are rotting in Portugal and local authorities do not help us much in that aspect. When you begin to ride in ver , you felt intimidated and was all natural 'd feel like a fish in water ? Well my cradle is Runway Red Beach where I started training in a mini ramp, and a bank 's very technical that it took me a long time to enjoy all his curves. Today I am part of the team Urgh and very proud of being the youngest skater to join the team at 7 years old. Which has one of the most beautiful slopes of S達o Paulo with a half pipe and covered a very cool mini ramp, my second home! Pennywise formed in 1988 in Hermosa Beach , California by singer Jim Lindberg , guitarist Fletcher Dragge, drummer Byron McMackin and bassist Jason Thirsk (this is the original formation ). All the members had played in other bands in the area, and went to the same school. Hermosa Beach had been source other pioneering hardcore punk bands of the late 1970s such as Black Flag , Circle Jerks and Descendents. In 1989 the Theologian Records released two EPs , A Word from the Wise and Wildcard , influenced by bands like Minor Threat and Black Flag . Subsequently the publisher reissued the EP on a solo album , " Wildcard / A Word from the Wise ". Having heard the band on the local university radio , a local DJ indicated A Word from the Wise Brett Gurewitz of Epitaph Records (and also guitarist for Bad Religion ) and despite criticism not favorable to EP, the group signed to the label in 1990. Released their first album the following year , Pennywise , which quickly spread throughout the American punk community.
Their letters passed a positive message , helping to promote the ideals of Generation X. Lindberg left the band shortly after recording for personal reasons : he would marry and the climate of concerts punk was not the most conducive to the formation of a family. Thirsk took over the vocals and his bass teacher met the group, bassist Randy Bradbury. In 1992, vocalist Dave Quackenbush of The Vandals took the vocal of the band for a brief period. Bradbury left the band and Thirsk returned to bass. Unknown Road was released in 1993 and sold about two hundred thousand copies , a good brand an independent publisher. The projection of the Epitaph helps considerably, achieving promote their music internationally.
