A MESSAGE FROM MR CHRIS DROWLEY

Dear Parents and Carers,

This week I had the opportunity to attend the Christian Schools Australia Leadership Summit, which gathered Christian school leaders from around Australia. One of the major themes discussed was around how Christian Education provides opportunities for students to flourish. It was inspiring and encouraging to know that Northside is not alone and we are part of a network of schools across our nation with the same heart to see lives transformed through Christian education.

We also celebrated Book Week this week, with the theme Book an Adventure! bringing stories to life across our classrooms. Students engaged in a variety of fun and creative activities, including reading the Children's Book Council of Australia shortlisted books, special Library activities that were held during recess and lunch time, colouring competitions, and picture book competitions!

On Thursday, a group of selected students proudly represented our College at the Primary School District Athletics Competition. We congratulate all our athletes for their hard work, determination, and sportsmanship It was wonderful to see them striving for their personal best and encouraging one another throughout the day.

The week concluded with our much-loved Book Week Dress-Up Parade on Friday, where students came dressed as their favourite book characters. The creativity, colour, and joy on display was inspiring, and it was wonderful to see our community come together to celebrate a love of reading Thank you to families for supporting this special event

Let us remember the strength of walking together in unity:

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11

May this verse inspire us to continue supporting one another as a College community, celebrating both achievements and the joy of learning together

God bless you,
