TERM 3 | WEEK 9 | 18TH SEPTEMBER 2025
A MESSAGE FROM MR CHRIS DROWLEY
Dear Parents and Carers,
I cannot believe we are already at the end of Term 3! So much has happened and it has been wonderful watching our students continue to learn and grow in all areas of their schooling.
This week selected Years 5 - 6 students represented Northside at the Lawn Bowls District Sport Competition This was a fantastic experience for our students to build skills, teamwork and sportsmanship while competing against other schools in the district
On Monday, some of our Years 3 - 4 students took part in the Hooptime Finals Competition. After progressing through earlier rounds, these students showed great determination, teamwork and energy as they competed at a higher level We are proud of their effort and the way they represented the College.
On Tuesday, our students proudly celebrated Footy Colours Day by wearing their favourite footy team colours The day was filled with fun activities, including the coin line, handball competition and longest kick. A highlight was the Years 10 – 12 Students vs Teachers match, which brought plenty of excitement and cheering! Thank you to all families who contributed a gold coin donation to support the Fight Cancer Foundation, it was fantastic to see our community rally together for a great cause.

To finish off the term, our Prep - Year 2 students enjoyed their Athletics Carnival on the final day of Term 3. It was a wonderful celebration of participation, teamwork and fun with plenty of cheering and encouragement from peers, teachers and families. The day was a memorable way to wrap up the term and we are so proud of our youngest students for giving their personal best and earning points for their House Team.
hank our families for their ongoing support, on throughout Term 3. On behalf of our staff, we thank partnership This has helped create meaningful experiences for our students and strengthened the connections that make our College such a special place.
I pray the school holiday break will be one of peace and refreshment filled with time for connection and quality family time. May this break provide the opportunity to refresh, reflect and return ready for an exciting Term 4
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

God bless you,
