TERM 3 | WEEK 7 | 05TH SEPTEMBER 2025

A MESSAGE FROM MR CHRIS DROWLEY

Dear Parents and Carers,

Our students have enjoyed learning with a range of activities and experiences this week!

We began by celebrating Australian Teacher Aide Appreciation Week. Our Learning Support Assistants play such a vital role in supporting both students and teachers each day. Their dedication, patience and care make a genuine difference in the life of our College, and we are so grateful for all that they do.

On Wednesday, our Year 3 students ventured to Scienceworks, where they immersed themselves in interactive exhibits and hands-on science activities. The excursion was a fantastic way to extend classroom learning, sparking curiosity and leaving students with plenty of wonder and stories to share.

On Friday we held a Father’s Day Stall, hosted by our Parents and Friends group Students loved the chance to select something special for their dads and carers, and it was heartwarming to see their thoughtfulness and joy. A big thank you to our Parents and Friends for the time and effort they put into making this event such a success. I would like to take this opportunity to honour the fathers in our community, and my prayer is that they have a great day on the weekend as they are celebrated within their families

Looking ahead, we are excited for our Northside Festival of Arts Event next Thursday 11th September 2025, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. This will be a fantastic evening for College families to celebrate creativity, connect with one another, and enjoy the incredible talents of our students. Please make sure your child is able to attend if they are performing Even if your child is not required to perform, we still encourage you and your family to join the festivities As this is a slightly later event, Prep–Year 2 students are welcome to arrive at school by Period 3 on Friday 12th September 2025.

As we reflect on the week and anticipate what’s to come, we are reminded of the many opportunities we have to learn, serve, and grow together as a community

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:11

God bless you,

PRIMARY SCHOOL CHAPEL
