GIRL SCOUTS HONORED

First selectman Mike Freda kicked off the March selectmen’s meeting by honoring North Haven Girl Scouts with a proclamation honoring the organization’s 105th anniversary. “The Girl Scouts started in 1912 and for more than 100 years Girl Scouting has helped build millions of girls and women of courage, confidence, and character who act to make the world a better place,” Freda said.
