himself a lot, but he feels like he’s got it down to a science now. “I kind of just jumped in and figured it out,” Erik Golinowski said. “It’s been very cool. I’ve learned an extreme amount of things.” Over the years, Golinowski is gradually and consistently upgrading the grounds. Recently, the business was approved to install heat in the main building, and patrons will notice a handful of new games in the arcade. The indoor minigolf course is unique to the site, offering people an air conditioned escape during hot and sunny, rainy or even winter weather, since the site is open year-round as of this January. The glow-in-the-dark course is “thriller”-themed, featuring animatronics and painting all airbrushed by hand by a local student at the time.

“It’s unbelievable in there, it’s really detailed,” Golinowski said. Investing in the indoor minigolf was a move toward being able to offer yearround entertainment, something Golinowski said his father also envisioned. The business is open weekends from around November to March, with some arcade games available as well. Golinowski said he’s con-

stantly thinking about ways to upgrade and offer more to customers. Right now, he’s looking into installing a synthetic ice skating rink and has tossed around escape room and laser tag ideas too.
