Hey there fabulous people of Dallas – Fort Worth!
Ah, September! There’s a whiff of pumpkin spice in the air, leaves are flirting with the idea of changing colors, and, for some absurd reason, I still get a tiny pang of “I should be buying school supplies” even though it’s been a good minute since I’ve been in a classroom. Blame it on the Minnesotan roots; we take our fall vibes very seriously.
Speaking of Minnesota, it’s a lot cooler there (and I don’t just mean the temperature). As a Minnesotan turned Texan, I often find myself comparing the two. What I’ve come to realize is that whether it’s the brisk north or the warm heart of Texas, it’s all about the people and the passion they bring to the table. And that’s why this magazine exists. To celebrate the movers and shakers, the go-getters and over-achievers of the Dallas real estate scene. If Texas is the heart of America, y’all are its steady, vibrant pulse.
But, back to September – our little prelude to the grand finale of the year. Kids are hopping back to school, eager (or not so eager) to dive into a new academic year. And, as for us? It’s the perfect time to pull out those goals we scribbled down in January. Remember those? Dust them off and give them a good stare-down. With Q4 peeking around the corner, now’s the moment to regroup, refocus, and rally to end this year on a note so high… even the Dallas skyline will look up to it.
I always believe there’s something magical about the start of fall. Maybe it’s the promise of cooler days, or perhaps it’s due to the fact that the ESPE Awards are just around the corner (updates and information on that coming soon)! But if I’ve learned one thing from my journey from the Land of 10,000 Lakes to the Lone Star State, it’s that any season can be a season of new beginnings.
So, to the Real-producing agents and the incredible businesses that support them: Let’s own this season. Let’s hustle like we’ve never hustled before, let’s celebrate each other’s successes, and let’s set the stage for a spectacular finish to 2023.
Cheers to refocusing, reenergizing, and relishing in what lies ahead.

OPENING THE DOOR TO REAL ESTATE
Something interesting happened to Amber in the course of that line of work. She discovered that she kept coming in contact and working with people in the real estate industry. Her job was eliminated. But she took it as a sign and entered the business, working for a developer.
“It was God’s way of opening another door for me after four and a half years. I built relationships with sales representatives in new construction, and we would host sales events and was promoted to a director level,” she says.
“It pushed me out and in time, my boss told me, ‘You are supposed to be on the other side in sales.’ I took a leap of faith and got my license. My first year I sold one house. I did a lot of apartment locating as a part-time agent. I realized if I could really commit my time I could achieve a lot. So I quit my job and dove into real estate.”
MADE FOR THIS
Within the first week, Amber had six buyers who wanted to work with her.
Success has followed closely behind Amber’s efforts through time. In fact, in 2022, she recorded nearly $29 million in sales volume.
In the process, Amber feels blessed to be able to share the journey with two family members, including her mother, Leticia Dorsey; and her sister, Gabby Dorsey, who is on her team.
Away from work, Amber has a passion for getting away and enjoying new travel destinations, with favorite spots including Brazil and Honduras. She also has a strong focus on flipping houses.
Another favorite relaxing pastime for her is spending time at the spa, as well as spending time with her family.
As Amber looks to the future, she is grateful for the path that has led her to this point. As part of that, she has a drive to help others find their own way in the business, as well.
“If I was to give any advice to people who are getting started in real estate, I would remind them that sometimes we can tend to get in our own way,” she says. “I would encourage people to just get comfortable telling people about who you are. Once people see that, they will react to you positively.”
With her personable nature and friendly approach, Amber quickly builds bonds that develop into working relationships and friendships.
Day by day, Amber relishes having the chance to help others … in turn, clearing the way for their future success. As she says with a heartfelt smile, “At the end of the transaction, it’s very important to me that they know I’m here as their reliable friend … in a way that goes beyond just being a resource for them in real estate.”

ELLEN FAIR TERRELL & BRITT FAIR
FAIR TEXAS TITLE
ALL IN THE FAMILY
Fair Texas Title was founded in 2016, but its roots trace back a century further. The Fair family has a legacy in the DFW title business dating back to 1916, when Hexter Title was founded, and the company was eventually purchased by Britt Fair’s grandfather, Bill Fair. Britt’s grandfather and father, David Fair, went on to own and operate Hexter-Fair, which grew into the largest private title company in Texas.
Britt and his sister Ellen were born and raised in the title business. From overhearing their father on the phone with clients or partaking in conversation around the dinner table, the real
estate business was always part of their life. Yet, as is the case for many young people, Britt and Ellen set out to forge their own paths in life.
“Nothing can sound any more boring than a type of insurance that is so obscure that no one even knows what it is,” Britt jokes. “We all stumble into this business in one way or another. Nobody intends to get into the title business, but we found our way back.”
Britt eventually joined his father in business at Hexter-Fair, and after the company was sold, he founded his own firm, Fair Texas Title. Fair Texas Title
has quickly become Texas’ go-to brand for title services.
THREE GENERATIONS STRONG
Britt began his professional life with aspirations to become an investment banker, but after three months in that role, he discovered he didn’t enjoy the work. So he moved to consulting, which proved to be only a modest improvement. His travel schedule was heavy, and he began to doubt how much service he was truly providing in his role. That’s when he turned back toward title, the industry he had always known.

“It took me exploring those other avenues that seemed to be more exciting and coming to realize, maybe this title insurance idea isn’t so crazy after all,” Britt reflects.
Britt went on to work at Hexter-Fair for over a decade. He founded Fair Texas Title in 2016, and his sister, Ellen, joined the company two years later.
Ellen previously built a successful career in consulting and sales. She later went back to school to become a nurse and worked in that field for several years. In 2018, she decided to join her brother at Fair Texas Title. Today, she is the Branch
GROWING THE FAMILY
Britt’s passion for the business and family legacy formed the building blocks for Fair Texas Title, and the company has continued to innovate. Texas is a standardized title state, meaning the cost of policies from company to company is the same. So how does a title company differentiate itself?
Fair Texas Title’s response is to offer a best-in-class customer experience. They ensure every client has a stellar experience, from their interaction with sales reps to the receptionists’
warm greetings to the closing itself. Fair Texas Title is keenly focused on North Texas with a deep commitment to its local community.
One of Britt’s fondest memories of working at HexterFair was the relationship he developed with his dad. That familial bond extended to the broader company, too. Every employee and partner was treated like family.
When the company changed hands in 2012, that family culture began to dwindle. Although Britt stayed on board for four more years, he continued dreaming about a return to the family values that had made Hexter-Fair so successful. In 2016, he
left to pursue that passion for family culture.
“I was ready to get back to the feeling of the local family we had at Hexter-Fair,” Britt says. “Starting this company was all about the desire to have that family feel again. And today, the family aspect is a huge part of what we do. There’s literally Ellen and myself, but it extends beyond that. We have a work family of people who have been together a long time, and we have that same feel with our REALTOR® clients. They become part of the family as well. That’s the vibe we strive for every day — to make sure our teammates and clients feel like part of the family and know they are cared for.”

DAMON
DAMON cover story
WILLIAMSON
As one of the top-producing members of the industry in the region, you have achieved your place in the industry by doing the right thing consistently through time.
DRIVEN
That’s a power that Broker/Owner Damon Williamson of The Agency Dallas represents in his ongoing drive to help others reach higher.
“I have always loved real estate since I was in my early teens,” Damon says. “My dad built a house with a builder and I always loved going out to see the progress on that property. That started the whole idea that this is what I wanted to do.”
EARLY PASSION
As a Texas native, Damon still has that passion that was with him at an early age. After high school, Damon started leasing apartments for Lincoln Property Company. In fact, he leased so many, so quickly that the company changed the company’s entire commission structure because of what the amount on these paychecks they were giving to a 20-year-old.
Damon’s manager saw his sales talent and recommended that he go into new construction sales. Soon, he became the youngest person
hired at Centex Homes when he was just 21. Again, Damon excelled in his role … selling out many neighborhoods and receiving the highest awards for sales and service.
Around that same time, Damon married his high school sweetheart. Together, they began an investment property company, leading homes he had slowly acquired through time in the area.
After selling new construction for 10 years, Damon opened his options and started working with buyers in addition to representing builders.
“I had been working with buyers and I got used to working with people looking to purchase,” Damon says. “The only part that was more difficult was the listing side of things. I started off working with a lot of buyers. I knew how they expected to be treated. I hit the ground running.”
That’s an understatement. In fact, Damon earned Rookie of the Year honors with Keller Williams. He earned the highest Rookie of the Year honors possible within the Keller Williams organization— receiving these honors on an international basis … the coveted Career Launch award for ranking as
the number one rookie worldwide within the company. It’s the highest honor a person can receive for their first 12 months in the business.
One of the elements that set Damon apart was his unique approach. Instead of following a traditional model of farming his personal sphere or neighborhood, he capitalized on his wife’s experience in marketing and web design to farm the Dallas internet and online marketing.
In time, Damon founded his own group, the Damon Williamson Group (DWG) in 2010.
“My vision at the time was bringing together a forward-thinking team of professionals to use cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions to disrupt the industry,” Damon says.
About 10 years later, Damon was contacted by Mauricio Umansky, CEO and Founder of The Agency, who wanted to grow a presence in Dallas. By that time, with more than 20 years of real estate experience, Damon and his wife, Megan, became the Managing Partners and launched The Agency Dallas … a team of 30 agents. The Agency is a global, boutique real estate brokerage with more than 70 locations nationwide, including two in Texas. It has been
GOOD ENOUGH IS RARELY GOOD ENOUGH. THAT’S SOMETHING THAT YOU REPRESENT.
REACHING HIGHER
named the Top Luxury Brokerage by Inman and is one of the fastest-growing premier boutique brands in the world.
“My wife has been instrumental in the business from the start to the present day. She’s been in the business and handles the marketing aspects, which has helped me guide my way through the real estate success. I really appreciate the support, marketing expertise, and collaboration that she brings,” Damon says. “Our clients and agents benefits from the shared resources of our international team, including in- house, cutting-edge creative, public relations, and tech divisions.”
The office launched in January 2023 and Damon’s recruitment efforts have brought on four big regional names, as well as five other high-performing luxury agents. Damon has brought on several Dallas-area top producers recently who have collectively closed over $110 million in transactions during the last 12 months. His projections for his company for its first year should be around $200 million in sales volume.
SIGNS OF SUCCESS
Damon’s signs of success have continued to grow through time. In fact, in 2022, he recorded $52 million in sales volume. During the same time, his team accounted for $78 million in
sales volume, with an average sales price of $900,000.
Through the process, Damon takes pride in helping the Agents in the brokerage scale their business.
WONDERFUL LIFE
Away from work, Damon treasures time with his family. In their free time, Damon and Megan look forward to time spent with their three children. They love their Highland Park home and all of their children attend Highland Park Independent School District.
They also have a ranch outside of Dallas where they spend their free time running their other family business, Barefoot Blonde Ranch, where they raise grass-fed beef and soy-free, pasture-raised chicken, turkey and eggs.
As Damon looks to the future, he is proud of the culture and approach that he and his team have built at The Agency Dallas.
“We provide a hands-on experience with agents and helping them scale their business to another tier of production and assist them with marketing,” Damon says. “What we do is provide a truly collaborative environment. We want agents spending time chatting with other
agents and figuring out what works best. Everyone is very open and sharing best practices with each other. Everything we do is with an open-arms approach … here’s what we’re doing and how we’re doing it. If you like it, we can help to cater it to you.”
Achieving results in this business — like life — is not a given. It takes a special level of persistence and the willingness to look for new ways to keep moving forward.
“It’s fun walking through and seeing the diversity that real estate has to offer. I also have a very good relationship with clients I work with. It’s fun to deal with people you like,” Damon says
“Even though it is a great moment to celebrate, the closing can be a bit sad at the same time. Because you have built a relationship through time, and then after closing, you won’t have that same amount of contact. I like to build those relationships that go on well beyond the closing table.”
Congratulations to Damon Williamson for his dedicated leader ship and drive to help others reach their potential … in turn, reaching higher day by day.

Creating Calm in the Storm
Written by: Dave Danielson
Photos by: Jin Kim, URSPECIAL
When you’re faced with a storm in life, it means a lot when you have someone on your side who will bring a sense of calm to see you through. That’s the way Eric Narosov’s clients feel when they have the chance to work with him.
Eric is a REALTOR® with Allie Beth Allman & Associates. He has earned his Top Producer status at the firm by making relationships and results his top priorities.
When you talk with Eric, it’s easy to see his engaging personality and his unwavering commitment to his clients.
“The human interaction and dependency is what fuels me in this business. I like the pressure of people depending on me to get something done for them. I get a high out of being able to produce for other people in those situations,” Eric says.
“I value each person and take time to listen and learn what their goals and interests are in partnering to achieve them.”
LEADING WITH INTEGRITY
As Eric thinks about his work that he is passionate about and the people he is eager to serve, he leads with integrity and service.
“People have to like you and trust you,” he says. “In today’s competitive market, success comes through partnerships.”
ERIC NAROSOV

Eric is motivated by making a difference.
“I’m self-driven. You get motivated from people and the satisfaction of making people happy … helping them to get to a place in life that they have had their eye on,” Eric says. “Buying a home is a big deal and being their go-to guy is a great feeling.”
Today, Eric is a knowledgeable and leading resource when it comes to premier properties throughout Dallas and Fort Worth. As part of that, he specializes in luxury homes in Highland Park, University Park, and Preston Hollow.
Through that process, Eric looks forward to each opportunity to negotiate a purchase or win a competitive sale. At the same time, he builds strong bonds and looks forward to working with fellow
agents to put together the best outcome for each client.
Indeed, he is as persistent as he is personable.
“My clients know they’re in good hands,” he says.
He remembers on specific example when he worked with the Fischer family in buying and renovating two homes.
As the family wrote, “Moving from out of state was both expensive and a bit overwhelming. Eric was the calm in our storm, helping us navigate through the purchase process. His detailed knowledge of Dallas/Fort Worth was impressive and extremely valuable in our choosing where to invest in property and purchase our homes.”
REMARKABLE RESULTS
Eric’s trajectory in the business has been sky-high since the start. During his first full year, he recorded $10 million in sales volume. He followed that up by leaping beyond that mark during his second year when he amassed $30 million in volume. His third year represented another gigantic stride ahead with $70 million in sales volume.
Eric credits his work ethic and those around him for his early success in the business.
“I’ve been fortunate to have people around me who believe in me, and I’ve had a really strong network who are willing to trust me. It’s the people around you who make you successful. I’m a firm believer in that,” Eric emphasizes. “I also need to do my job to prove that there is a reason why they come back to me. The people I work with and the agents I work with are amazing. It’s a team game.”
As part of that, Eric has deep gratitude for his family.
“Plus, I’m very happy to be on a really good team,” he smiles. “I work at what I like to think of as the best brokerage in town.”
Away from work, Eric looks forward to times when he can get away and travel with close friends. Plus, he also likes to work out and spend time with his dogs.
Eric has a proven record of lofty achievements very early on in his career. With his genuine, honest, and thoughtful approach to life and business, Eric makes a vital impact for his clients and others around him each day — in turn, creating calm in the storm.

During Cody’s formative years, he learned a lot of important lessons for life. His parents were in the toy and bicycle business.
“I grew up with a strong work ethic. That was back when boutique retailers could survive,” Cody says. “In fact, my family had a chain of stores throughout Texas. Through that time, I grew up learning to value the customer.”
DESIGNS ON LIFE
Cody also set his sights on what he wanted to do in life. As he remembers, he always had a passion for drafting and house plans.
“Always loved architecture and design. This was in the days before CAD. At that time, everything was done with drafting tables and pens,” Cody says.
“I was going to be an architecture major at Texas Tech.”
So Cody finished out his collegiate career with a Marketing degree, with areas of emphasis in Advertising and English.
GAINING VALUABLE EXPERIENCE
After he graduated, Cody went into retail management for a time, and then explored the world of mortgage
“I never intended to be a REALTOR®. I was working for a mortgage company that was going out of business. We were being purchased and my friends encouraged me to get into real estate,” Cody remembers.
“I got a severance package and took to real estate very quickly. I’ve never looked back. It was that severance package from being laid off that gave me a cushion so I had some income while I was getting my feet wet.”
BEGINNING HIS REAL ESTATE CAREER
As Cody embarked on his new career in real estate, he worked a lot with bank-owned properties and also did foreclosure work. Eventually, he moved full-time into retail real estate and working with everyday buyers and sellers.
Through time, Cody’s work has been exemplary and abundant. In fact, through his career, he has closed on more than 2,500 transactions. Yet, he approaches his work with fresh eyes.
“I’m always learning, but I’ve seen a lot. Still, I enjoy learning something new every day. I love the business. My clients often become close friends,” Cody says.
advised them to do or because they think they will be able to make a lot of money,” Cody says.
“Money comes from doing what you do. If you love it, you can’t help but be good at it. With real estate, I never have felt like it was work.”
REWARDING LIFE
Away from work, Cody likes to stay active. He’s an avid tennis player (something he has done since competing in high school). He also has been involved in community and regional theater through time. In addition, he grew up playing the piano and saxophone. As a result, one of his favorite free-time pursuits is enjoying live music. Plus, he likes to stay active politically.
Cody grew up as the youngest of seven siblings in a blended family. As a result, he admits to having a competitive side.
“When you’re the youngest, you always have something to prove. I’m a very driven person, and yet it’s very important to achieve by being kind and ethical.”
Congratulations to Cody Farris … a man who makes an undeniable impact. He continues to lead the way for his clients. In the process, he is always on their side.
I’M A VERY DRIVEN PERSON, AND YET IT’S VERY IMPORTANT TO ACHIEVE BY BEING KIND & ETHICAL.
