THE NEED FOR CHANGE

Fall is upon us! 2024 is almost gone (hard to believe), and 2025 will be here before we know it. Fall is a season of considerable change. The temperatures drop (thank goodness), the grass and leaves change colors, and the aroma of pumpkin spiced lattes fills the cool, crisp air.
Over the years, one thing I have learned about success is that change is a necessity. I have also learned that life is much more enjoyable when you embrace that change. Welcome it with open arms!
Heraclitus, a Greek philosopher, once said, “The only constant in life is change.” We might as well get used to it.
The interesting thing about humans is that many people, arguably most people, are unhappy with one or many areas of their lives, but they don’t truly pursue change. Even though one may be unhealthy, in a bad relationship, hating their career…the discomfort, and specifically, the unknown that comes with change, is more uncomfortable than the circumstances they find themselves in. At least they are familiar with being unhealthy, in that bad relationship, or in that career that they despise. In a weird way, we find a false sense of peace with the familiar, and we tend to stay stuck there.
Unfortunately, for most, it takes an immense amount of pain to change. Since we need change to move forward in this life, that means, in many ways, that trials and tribulations are also a necessity of life. Someone recently said to me that there are only two energies in the universe…love and fear. The only reason God created fear was that it would push us to choose and chase after love. On the other side of chaos and pain is positive change and immense joy.
As we go through this seasonal change, and as the world continues to get crazier and crazier, and we go through our own personal struggles…I encourage you not to lose hope but to stay focused, keep moving forward, and have faith. Because on the other side of everything we are going through is a beauty that we have never known.

See you on the other side of change!

THE BEST IS YET TO COME
From the streets of Sugar Land to the communities of North Fort Worth, Ryan Ebersole’s journey has been one of passion, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. As the Associate Vice President and REALTOR® at Bray Real Estate Group, Ryan is living a life many dream of, but for him, it’s not just about the accolades or the success—it’s about the people he serves and the joy he finds in his work.
A Texan at Heart Ryan’s roots are firmly planted in Texas soil, though his journey took him across the state. Born in Sugar Land and spending his early years in The Woodlands, Ryan eventually settled in Round Rock, where he attended high school. “I’m a bit of a Texas mutt,” Ryan jokes, reflecting on his upbringing. After graduating from Round Rock High School, he made his way to Texas A&M University, earning a degree in business management—a decision that would later serve as the foundation for his career in real estate.
Post-graduation, Ryan’s career path wasn’t initially set on real estate. He dove into the world of online advertising and marketing with MultiView, where he honed his sales skills. But life had other plans. “An opportunity came up for me to build houses for M/I Homes in The Woodlands/Cypress area,” Ryan recalls. This experience gave him a deeper understanding of the industry from a different angle, but soon enough, the pull of real estate became too strong to ignore.
I ENJOY WALKING PEOPLE THROUGH THE BUYING AND SELLING PROCESSES AND MAKING
SURE THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY’RE GETTING THEMSELVES INTO WHILE HELPING THEM ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS OF HOMEOWNERSHIP.

Taking the Leap
In 2018, Ryan decided to dip his toes into real estate. He completed his classes and obtained his license, starting as a part-time agent while still managing a full-time job. It wasn’t long before his passion for real estate took over. “After a few closings, I made the leap into real estate full-time in May of 2019 and have never looked back!” Ryan says. This decision marked the beginning of a new chapter, one where his love for helping others would shine.
For Ryan, real estate isn’t just a job— it’s a calling. “I am passionate about educating people about real estate,” he explains. The world of real estate can be daunting, especially with the barrage of information (and misinformation) available online. Ryan’s mission is to cut through the noise and provide clarity for his clients. “I enjoy walking people through the buying and selling processes and making sure they know exactly what they’re getting themselves into while helping them achieve their goals of homeownership,” he says.
Building Trust and Relationships
The rewards of real estate are manifold, but for Ryan, the most fulfilling aspect is the people. “I have met so many amazing people through real estate, and I truly consider myself to be blessed,” he shares. Whether it’s guiding first-time homebuyers or helping seasoned investors, Ryan’s commitment to his clients is steadfast. His approach is rooted in honesty and integrity, qualities that have earned him the trust and respect of those he works with.

However, the journey hasn’t been without its challenges. In an era where everyone is an “expert” thanks to social media, Ryan has had to navigate the tricky waters of misinformation. “With the internet and all of the information that anyone could ever want in the palm of our hands, everyone is an expert on everything these days,” he notes. But Ryan sees this as an opportunity to build trust and relationships, helping clients see beyond the headlines and understand the true nature of the market.
A Vision for the Future
Real estate is more than just a career for Ryan; it’s a vehicle for achieving his dreams. “Taking the leap of faith into real estate has proven to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made,” he says. Ryan’s vision includes growing his investment portfolio and, one day, owning a ranch where he can retire. But until then, he’s focused on expanding the Fort Worth office of Bray Real Estate Group, which he had the privilege of starting from the ground up.
Success, for Ryan, is about making a positive impact on the lives of others. “My favorite definition of success is being able to do what you want, when you want, with the people you want to do it with,” he reflects. It’s a philosophy that guides his every move, both in business and in life.
Balancing Act
One of Ryan’s biggest goals this
year has been finding balance— especially with the arrival of his second son, Kyler, who joins big brother Kason in keeping Ryan and his wife, Kaitlyn, on their toes. “I wanted to intentionally be more present and focused on the home front,” Ryan shares. It’s a challenge, but one that he meets head-on, knowing that family is what matters most.
Outside of work, Ryan is an avid outdoorsman. “No better way to recharge and relax than being in the woods enjoying God’s beautiful creation!” he exclaims. Whether it’s bow hunting or cheering on his beloved Texas A&M Aggies during football season, Ryan finds solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life.
Words of Wisdom
Ryan’s journey has taught him many lessons, but one piece of advice stands out—words from his mother: “Enjoy the really busy times AND the slower times. God knows what you need and will provide it when you need it.” It’s a mantra that Ryan carries with him, reminding him to trust in the process and embrace the journey.
As Ryan looks to the future, both for himself and for the ever-growing Dallas-Fort Worth area, he believes the “best is yet to come!” And as he continues to build his legacy, there’s no doubt that Ryan Ebersole will be remembered as a man of integrity, dedication, and heart—one who truly loves what he does and the people he serves.
TAKING THE LEAP OF FAITH INTO REAL ESTATE HAS PROVEN TO BE ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS I’VE EVER MADE.

BLACK TIE
MASTERING THE ART OF THE MOVE MOVING
Written by: Katherine H. Fondren
by: John Walsh, Premier Property Media
In the high-stakes world of relocation, where stress can run high and expectations even higher, Tyler Coleman, branch manager of Black Tie Moving, stands out for his commitment to professionalism and service to his clients. For Tyler, moving isn’t just a job—it’s a deeply personal mission shaped by his own life experiences and a passion for exceptional customer care.
A Journey Rooted in Experience
Tyler’s story begins in the heart of Texas. Born in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, he spent his childhood crisscrossing the state as his father, a high school football coach, moved from one town to the next. “Growing up, we moved every two to three years,” Tyler recalls. “I know
firsthand how stressful it can be, and that’s why I’m so passionate about making sure our clients’ moves run as smoothly as possible.”
This personal understanding of the upheaval that moving can bring led Tyler to Black Tie Moving, a company that he joined at the ground level. Starting as a mover, Tyler quickly demonstrated a knack for leadership and customer service, climbing the ranks to become a driver, crew lead, and eventually transitioning into operations and branch management.
Building a Culture of Excellence
Black Tie Moving is not your average moving company. Under Tyler’s leadership, the DFW branch has become synonymous with world-class
professionalism. “We take great pride in removing as much stress from our clients as possible during their transition,” Tyler says. This commitment to excellence isn’t just a slogan; it’s the foundation upon which the company operates.
One of the key differentiators for Black Tie Moving is its approach to staffing. “All of our employees are background checked and drug tested,” Tyler explains. “We also pay our employees more than 99% of moving companies to attract top talent. We like to know who we’re sending into our clients’ homes.” In an industry where many companies rely on contractors or day laborers, Tyler’s emphasis on hiring and retaining top-tier employees ensures
I KNOW FIRSTHAND HOW STRESSFUL IT CAN BE, AND THAT’S WHY I’M SO PASSIONATE ABOUT MAKING SURE
OUR CLIENTS’ MOVES
RUN AS SMOOTHLY AS POSSIBLE.
that every client receives the highest level of service.
HANDS-ON LEADERSHIP
Tyler’s leadership style is as hands-on as it gets. He is involved in every aspect of the moving process, from the initial estimate to the final box being unpacked. “I will personally estimate and book their move, handpick the guys who perform the move, and even give the clients my direct cell phone number so they can always
reach me with any questions or concerns,” he says. This level of personal attention sets Black Tie Moving apart in a crowded market.
THE ROAD TO SUCCESS
Tyler’s journey with Black Tie Moving has taken him far beyond DFW. After three years with the company, he was given the opportunity to open a new office in Nashville. It was there that he met his wife, and after another successful stint in
Austin, Tyler returned to DFW in the summer of 2022 to run the company’s largest branch. “If you would have told me 12 years ago I would be in the moving industry as a profession, I would’ve laughed at you,” Tyler admits. “But I found a rapidly growing company with room for growth in a great environment providing superior customer service.”
This attitude—paired with a relentless drive to succeed—has been the

cornerstone of Tyler’s career. “Every prob lem has a solution,” he says. “Some people will sulk or get wound up about a problem; I strive to find the solution.” It’s this can-do attitude that has propelled him to the top of his field and earned Black Tie Moving a stellar reputation in the industry.
BALANCING WORK AND LIFE
Despite the demands of his role, Tyler places a high value on work-life balance. With two young sons, three years old and seven months, and a marriage that flourished during his time in Nashville, family is a top priority. “Success for me is having a great work/life balance,” Tyler reflects. “Having a happy and healthy family and just becoming 1% better every day.”
Tyler and his family enjoy exploring what DFW has to offer, as well as traveling to places like Nashville, Florida, and Puerto Rico, where his wife’s family lives. When he’s not working, Tyler can often be found hunting, fishing, or spending time with his loved ones.
LOOKING AHEAD
As Tyler looks to the future, his goals are as ambitious as ever. “Growing my book of business by 100% year over year,” he shares. “I’ve already beaten that goal this year, but I am continually servicing my clients and business relationships at the highest level to further that.”
In a field where the only constant is change, Tyler Coleman has found a way to thrive by focusing on the details, building strong relationships, and always striving for excel lence. His journey from a reluctant mover to a branch manager leading one of the largest offices at Black Tie Moving is a testament to what can be achieved with hard work, dedi cation, and a passion for serving others.
For Tyler, the secret to success is simple: “If you take care of the little things, the big things will take care of themselves.” And in the world of moving, where every little thing matters, that’s advice worth following.

JENSENRENÉ
BUILDING A LEGACY
cover story
Written
Katherine H. Fondren

René Jensen’s journey into real estate is anything but conventional. René’s early life, birth to five years of age, was shaped by the simplicity and challenges of farm life. “My parents sold a horse to pay for my hospital bill when I was born,” she recalls with a mix of nostalgia and pride. Her mother was a hairstylist, and her father trained cutting horses, instilling in her a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.
But life took a turn when her parents divorced, and she moved just before starting kindergarten to Grand Prairie, TX. Despite the upheaval, René’s roots in Texas remained strong. “I’m a born and raised Texas girl,” she proudly declares. Her journey from a young girl on a farm to the owner of Lonestar Luxury Realty is nothing short of remarkable.
Before diving into real estate, René’s life was a tapestry of diverse experiences. She was a cosmetologist, a stay-at-home mom, worked for a children’s dentist and orthodontist, was a personal trainer and bootcamp instructor and was even a fitness competitor. “I didn’t jump into real estate with both feet until 2018,” she explains. The timing was deliberate—waiting until her children were older so she could fully commit to her new career. And when she did, she went all in, proving to herself and others that success in real estate is about passion, hard work, and a genuine love for helping others.
René’s passion for real estate is palpable. “This is the first full year since starting my own brokerage,” she shares. Her dedication to guiding her agents through the ever-changing landscape of real estate is clear. However, what truly sets René apart is her kindness and her strong commitment to her clients.
“I’ve always said that I would be a luxury REALTOR® and sell beautiful homes, but what I enjoy most is making the client happy and making the transaction as seamless as possible for them,” she says with a smile.
For René, success isn’t just about numbers or accolades—though she has plenty of those, including being recognized as a top producer by 360 West Magazine and Fort Worth Magazine. It’s about balance, happiness, and reaching your goals. “Being happy and meeting your goals without compromising time with family and friends—that’s success,” she says. This philosophy has guided her through the ups and downs of her career. “It was a hard year starting and running a business all by myself,” shares René, reflecting on a

tough year. But she emerged stronger, more focused, and with a renewed commitment to her health and happiness.
René’s love for her family is a cornerstone of her life. Married to her husband Eric for 29 years, she beams with pride when talking about their two children—Hannah, an accountant, and Jackson, a commercial pilot. Family is everything to René, and she cherishes the time spent attending Cowboys, Rangers, Stars, and Mavs games with her husband, boating in the summer, or simply walking her 3 dogs in her neighborhood. “I love to give back to my community,” she adds, a sentiment that speaks to her generous spirit.
As the owner of Lonestar Luxury Realty, René is not just building a business— she’s building a legacy. She hopes to show others that opening a brokerage is not just feasible but rewarding. “I want to be a great example for my agents at my brokerage, to be a highly successful brokerage owner, and to help all of my clients successfully,” she says. But beyond the professional goals, René is focused on enjoying life to the fullest. “Have fun and enjoy life!” she exclaims, emphasizing the importance of savoring every moment.
René’s advice to aspiring real estate professionals is simple yet profound: “Be authentic, stay consistent, and enjoy the ride.” It’s advice she lives by, navigating the competitive world of real estate with grace and a genuine love for people. “I feel what makes me different is that I have a genuine love for people and helping others,” she explains, a quality that has undoubtedly contributed to her success.
Looking ahead, René has big dreams, both professionally and personally. She envisions living on a small piece of land in a neighboring town, staying healthy both physically and mentally, and spending as much time as possible with family and friends. She’s a planner at heart, crafting vision boards every year to keep her goals in sight. “I now do a vision

board as a background picture on my phone instead of on a poster board,” she shares, a modern twist on an ageold practice.
René Jensen’s story is one of resilience, kindness, and the pursuit of happiness. She’s a living example that with hard work, a generous heart, and a commitment to enjoying life, anything is possible. Whether she’s closing deals, mentoring agents, or spending time with loved ones, René’s philosophy is clear: Kindness goes a long way, and every day is an opportunity to live life to the fullest.

FLORES power team
LIVING THEIR DREAMS
Real estate is not just a job for Margie and Ludwin Flores; it’s a story of a passion for life and the pursuit of dreams. The husband-and-wife duo, based in the North Fort Worth area, didn’t start in real estate. Their journey began in New York City—Margie, from Queens and Ludwin, a Brooklyn native. It was in the fast-paced IT world where they first crossed paths, and as Margie puts it, “The heavens parted, a light was shining in the fluorescent-lit office, and angelic voices sang.” From that first meeting, their love story began, and so did a lifelong partnership in work and life.
Their early days together were filled with exciting career opportunities in the IT world, but their true calling came after Margie, homeschooling with their growing family, spent afternoons watching HGTV. Inspired by the idea of flipping houses, she proposed it to Ludwin, a man known for wanting all the facts before diving into something new. But Margie, ever the planner, came prepared. “I did my research. We were debt-free at the time and had done the Dave Ramsey thing,” she explains. Armed with a bold plan, Margie secured funds using credit cards and personal loans. Ludwin, who had never held a hammer in his life, quit his IT job, and they embarked on the adventure of flipping houses.
Their first project, a home in Fort Worth’s Wedgewood neighborhood, was a whirlwind. “We bought the house sight unseen for $120,000,” Ludwin recalls, laughing. Despite having a remodel budget of $30,000, things didn’t go as smoothly as the HGTV shows had promised. They ran into unexpected challenges, including paying off loans and navigating closing cost fees. “We ended up with a long string of bad REALTORS®” Margie says. It was then that Ludwin decided to become a licensed REALTOR®.
But the lessons learned from their first flip didn’t deter the couple. Instead, they persisted. But the first two years were tough, with Ludwin selling only a handful of homes. Financial pressures
mounted, leading the Flores family to a difficult decision— bankruptcy. “Those were hard years,” Margie admits. They sought advice from financial advisors and church leaders, but their debt was insurmountable.
Even so, they were determined to turn their lives around. Selling their home, they moved in with their parents, a humbling experience but one that allowed them to rebuild. And rebuild they did. “During that time, things began to pick up in Ludwin’s real estate career. He sold 25 homes, and it was then he asked me to pray about partnering up with him and becoming a REALTOR®, too,” says Margie. Reluctant at first, she eventually felt called to the profession, earning her license in February 2020—right before the world changed due to the pandemic.
Margie didn’t let the challenge of starting a new career in uncertain times hold her back. In fact, she thrived. Leveraging social media and virtual tools, she connected with clients through Facebook Live and Zoom consultations. “We had our best year,” she beams. That year, the duo sold 50 homes, adapting to the “new normal” and demonstrating their resiliency.
Today, the Flores family is thriving. Their four children, currently ages 9 to 12, who have been part of the journey from day one, have witnessed their parents’ hard work and
OUR JOY IS SHARING OUR SUCCESS WITH THEM BECAUSE IT’S THEIR SUCCESS, TOO!” THEY SAY WITH PRIDE.

perseverance. From helping deliver Thanksgiving pies to clients to passing out flyers for open houses, the kids are very much a part of the family business. “Our joy is sharing our success with them because it’s their success, too!” they say with pride.
Their success hasn’t just been measured in homes sold, but in the quality of life they’ve been able to create for their family. After their bankruptcy, they were able to buy their first home again, followed by another with a pool, and even took their kids to Disney World. “We love our kids! They’ve been with us through the highs and lows,

and it’s such a joy to give back to them after everything we’ve been through.”
Faith has played a critical role in the Flores family’s journey. Margie and Ludwin often reflect on the lessons they’ve learned. “I am so grateful for God’s mercy in leading us out of the mess we got into,” Margie says, emphasizing the importance of trusting in God’s plan even when things seem impossible. Their experiences have allowed them to connect with their clients on a deeper level, especially those facing financial struggles. “We now have firsthand experience on how to buy a home after bankruptcy, how to repair credit, and how to have self-control so you can save for a home,” Ludwin shares.

The couple’s love for their clients is evident. “It’s such an honor to be on this side and love on our people,” Margie says with a warm smile. They view their role as more than just selling homes—they are cheerleaders, helping families achieve their homeownership dreams. “Seeing the fruit of our work in being able to spoil our kids and give back to clients has been the most rewarding part of this business,” she adds.
As they look to the future, Margie and Ludwin are excited about continuing to build their real estate team, grow their business, and keep living out their dreams. For them, success isn’t just about financial gain; it’s about balance. “We have a healthy family, thriving kids, date nights, and everything we need,” they say. They may not have set out to be real estate moguls, but through faith, hard work, and love for each other and their clients, Margie and Ludwin Flores can confidently say, “We made it!”

CAPOVILLA FRANK
Creating Strong Relationships
Frank Capovilla, a luxury real estate advisor with Coldwell Banker, has spent nearly two decades helping clients navigate the complex world of real estate.
Originally from the bustling Silicon Valley in Northern California, Frank’s journey to becoming a top real estate professional is rooted in values passed down by his parents—hard work, perseverance, and a steadfast commitment to family.

As the youngest of three boys in a family of Italian descent, Frank’s upbringing in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment instilled in him a drive to adapt and succeed. He fondly recalls the lessons of resilience and commitment from his parents, saying, “My parents’ work ethic and immigrant background helped me understand the significance of always striving to provide for family.” Those early lessons form the foundation of his real estate philosophy today, one centered on service, diligence, and treating every client like family.
From Silicon Valley to Texas Real Estate
After earning a degree in business economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara, Frank’s career began in corporate America. He held executive sales and marketing roles at several Fortune 5000 companies, including Xerox and Gartner. But it wasn’t long before his entrepreneurial spirit drew him into the world of real estate.
Frank began his real estate journey in 2007, during one of the toughest times
in the housing market. “I started my real estate career during the housing crisis,” Frank recalls, “by capitalizing on the drop in home prices and acquiring several rental properties.” This strategic move allowed him to build a solid investment portfolio in California and sharpen his skills in both residential and commercial real estate.
In 2021, Frank relocated to Southlake, Texas, where he founded Capovilla Realty Group, focusing on luxury properties. The move to North Fort Worth has proven to be one of his most rewarding decisions, as it has allowed him to not only grow his business but also deepen his connection to his new community.
Family First: A Life Philosophy
At the heart of Frank’s career is his devotion to family, a value that guides both his personal and professional life. “Life is too short not to cherish and prioritize the relationships that matter most,” Frank says. His
marriage of over 26 years to his wife, Amy, and his pride in raising two successful daughters are his greatest accomplishments. Amanda, a senior at TCU, and Hailey, a recent graduate of SMU, both share their father’s drive and work ethic.
For Frank, success isn’t just measured by closing deals—it’s defined by the legacy he leaves for his family. “Success to me is raising two bright and successful daughters who know what truly matters,” Frank shares with a smile. This strong sense of family values translates seamlessly into his real estate practice. He treats each transaction as if it were for a close family member, offering personalized service that goes beyond the standard client-agent relationship.
A Trusted Advisor in a Competitive Market
Frank’s deep knowledge of market dynamics, coupled with his sharp business acumen, sets him apart in the competitive North Texas real
