Best Coaching Question The of

ALL TIME

Personal Growth has been very important to me, particularly in the last 11 years. In college, I dealt with an enormous amount of anxiety and depression, and after a period of time, I couldn’t take it anymore. I remember a very specific day when I was 22 years old when I was at my breaking point. I prayed to a God (that at the time I wasn’t sure existed), and I made a commitment from that day on that I would never allow myself to feel that way anymore. I didn’t care how long it took, how hard it was, how much it would cost…I would find a way.

I started that journey with books, free online resources, daily meditations, and anything I could get my hands on that might help me get out of my trapped mind and emotions. As I got out of college, I continued that path and kept building on it. I recently did some reflecting and number crunching and realized that I have invested a large sum of money on personal development in that last seven years. Coaching, programs, seminars, trainings… You name it, I have probably done it. I don’t say that as some sort of brag, but I have just always felt deep in my soul that there is no better way to invest my money than into my own growth so I can be the best for myself, for others, and for God.

I wish I could teleport back to my 22-year-old self, so I could feel the massive change that has occurred within me in the last decade. So much growth has happened in that time. I have been blessed with so many amazing mentors and coaches, and I am so grateful for their influence on the trajectory of my life.

This last month, in two separate coaching calls from two different coaches, I got asked the same question relating to two different areas of my life. Both times, it led to an enormous breakthrough. I believe the quality of our life is determined by the quality of the questions we ask ourselves. I have been asked a lot of questions in the last 11 years… This question is by far the best question I have ever been asked: “What is not being said right now?” Simple, but profound if truly reflected upon. Now, I want you to ask yourself this question regarding one or all areas of your life. You may need to ask yourself this question several times to peel back the onion to get to what truly isn’t being said or addressed in your life that needs to be.

When you discover what needs to be said or addressed…I challenge you to take massive and immediate action on it. It’s time to move forward.

ERIC

WILKINS

REVOLUTIONIZING REAL ESTATE THROUGH MARKETING MASTERY

IN THE FORT WORTH REAL ESTATE MARKET, ERIC WILKINS EMERGES AS A VISIONARY FORCE, BLENDING CREATIVITY, MARKETING PROWESS, AND UNWAVERING DEDICATION TO HIS CRAFT. AS THE CO-OWNER OF VYBE REALTY AND THE FOUNDER OF VYBE MARKETING AND MEDIA, ERIC DEMONSTRATES TIME AND TIME AGAIN THAT CREATIVITY IS THE DIFFERENCE MAKER IN THE BUSINESS OF REAL ESTATE.

Born in Lumberton, North Carolina, and raised in Dallas, Texas, Eric’s entrepreneurial spirit was ignited from an early age. With a degree in Kinesiology from Tarleton State University, his foray into the real estate business began in Granbury, Texas, where he currently calls home. Yet before wearing the hat of REALTOR®, Eric’s journey traversed through the realms of marketing and creativity. “Before I was a REALTOR®, I owned a marketing agency called VYBE Marketing and Media, which I still run today,” Eric shares. It’s this fusion of marketing expertise and creative vision that sets Eric apart in an industry ripe for innovation. In addition, Eric was a Creative and Worship Pastor for StoneWater Church in Granbury for 14 years, demonstrating his dedication to his community and his faith.

Passionate about selling homes, Eric believes that exceptional marketing is the cornerstone of real estate success. “I believe it is the one true thing that sets okay agents apart from great agents,” Eric emphasizes. It’s this drive for innovation and creativity that propels Eric to continually push the boundaries of traditional real estate practices. “Marketing is my differentiator. I am a marketing machine. I never stop. I know what works, I know what doesn’t from both a technical aspect with social platforms and a psychological standpoint of how people receive information,” he continues.

For Eric, the most rewarding aspect of his business lies in putting marketing to work for you and your clients. “The most rewarding part has been to prove that

marketing works,” Eric asserts. Whether through his real estate ventures or his marketing agency, Eric’s commitment to excellence and results-driven strategies has earned him recognition and success, already selling over $50 million in the short span of his 2.5 year career.

Yet, Eric’s journey hasn’t been without its challenges. “My biggest challenge as a REALTOR® is honestly continually coming up with new ideas for homes,” Eric admits. It’s this relentless pursuit of creativity and innovation that fuels Eric’s quest for excellence, even in the face of adversity.

Real estate isn’t just a career for Eric— it’s a vehicle for achieving his dreams and goals. “I have dreams to create passive wealth via real estate investing,” Eric shares. From owning AirBnbs to commercial office spaces, Eric’s vision extends far beyond the confines of traditional real estate ventures.

As a REALTOR®, Eric’s favorite part of his role lies in helping people navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives. “I love helping people think through the selling and purchasing of their greatest asset,” Eric affirms. “Success is giving it my all for each and every listing,” Eric declares. It’s this

ethos of integrity and dedication that permeates every aspect of Eric’s professional endeavors.

With a string of accolades and accomplishments to his name, Eric’s journey is a testament to the transformative power of passion, perseverance, and unwavering dedication. From selling the highest-priced home under two acres in Hood County to being recognized as a top agent, Eric’s impact reverberates far beyond the confines of the real estate industry.

FUN FACT:

ERIC PLAYED RUGBY AT A HIGH LEVEL ON THE USA U-19 DEVELOPMENTAL TEAM.

At the heart of Eric’s success lies his unwavering commitment to his family. “I have an amazing and beautiful wife, Autumn, and four amazing boys and one little princess,” Eric shares. It’s his love for his family and his desire to create generational wealth that drives him to excel in every endeavor. In his free time, he loves all things sports and enjoys playing the guitar and drums for his church. Full of life and love for people, Eric wishes to be remembered above all as being a true follower of the Lord.

Looking to the future, Eric’s goals are ambitious yet attainable. “I want to sell $40,000,000 in Real Estate this year,” Eric declares. With an unwavering focus on marketing mastery and innovation, Eric’s journey is poised to continue shaping the landscape of real estate for years to come.

& NEIGHBORHOOD LOANS

A PERSONALIZED APPROACH TO LENDING

In the mortgage lending industry, where numbers and figures often dominate the conversation, Tanner Graham, branch manager of Neighborhood Loans, stands out with his unique approach—a blend of personal connection, creativity, and a relentless commitment to finding solutions even in the toughest situations. His journey from the mountains of West Virginia to the plains of Texas reveals the driving forces behind his success and his unwavering dedication to helping families achieve the American dream of homeownership.

Tanner’s journey to the Lone Star State began with a leap of faith, leaving behind a stable job to explore the opportunities in the mortgage industry. “After hearing about the opportunities in the industry and in the DFW market, I decided I would take a chance on this, and I’m very glad I did,” Tanner recounts, reflecting on his decision influenced by Ryan Schmid’s, his college roommate, success in the field.

At Neighborhood Loans, Tanner’s motto, “Fund it,” echoes throughout his every interaction, emphasizing not just closing deals but ensuring each client receives tailored, personalized service. “My goal is not to be the highest producing loan officer, it is to be the best loan officer,” he emphasizes, underlining his commitment to building strong relationships with clients and referral partners alike.

“I value the relationships I have with real estate agents and clients, and I will do the hard deals,” Tanner emphasizes, a sentiment echoed in his daily approach to business. From high-networth clients to those in need of credit repair and budgeting assistance, Tanner’s expertise spans a diverse range of niche programs and properties, from renovation loans to non-standard construction types and large acreage.

But Tanner’s success isn’t just about numbers and deals; it’s rooted in a deep-seated passion for helping families and a keen attention to detail. “The satisfaction of helping clients, especially those that have been turned down by competitors, really makes the job fulfilling,” Tanner shares, highlighting his unwavering dedication to providing solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Behind every successful loan officer is a dedicated team, and Tanner’s team at Neighborhood Loans is no exception. With a lineup of skilled processors and producing loan officers, Tanner ensures that every client receives the highest level of service and attention to detail. “Behind every good LO, there are even better processors, and we have the best in the business,” Tanner proudly declares, showcasing his team’s expertise and dedication. “Jackie

Valentino is our process manager, Briana Rangel and Lisa Nolen are our processors. Ryan’s brother, Will Schmid, has temporarily taken a step back from sales to handle the process manager role while Jackie is on maternity leave with her and Ryan’s first child! We have seven producing loan officers and are actively looking for new additions.”

Outside of the office, Tanner finds relaxation in the simple joys of life—spending time with his beloved pitbull named Brewster, and indulging in his hobbies of golf, concerts, live sports, and woodworking. “Success is having financial freedom from an occupation that also gives you a sense of purpose,” Tanner reflects, emphasizing the importance of work-life balance in his pursuit of success.

Looking ahead, Tanner’s goals remain rooted in personal and professional growth, striving

to be a better version of himself each day. As he navigates the ever-evolving landscape of mortgage lending, Tanner remains steadfast in his commitment to excellence and innovation, guided by his favorite quote: “All I can ask for is one opportunity, and I guarantee you won’t regret it.”

For real estate agents seeking a trusted partner in the mortgage industry, Tanner Graham and Neighborhood Loans offer not just expertise and reliability but a personalized approach that puts clients first—a testament to Tanner’s belief that success lies not just in closing deals but in making a difference in the lives of those he serves, one personalized solution at a time.

cover story

JORDAN DAVIS , REALTOR® and owner of The Davis Team at Keller Williams Lonestar DFW, embodies a unique blend of passion for both her clients and her team members. Her journey from humble beginnings to becoming a prominent figure in real estate is not just a tale of professional success but a journey of self-discovery and unwavering dedication to uplifting others.

Born and raised in Bethany, Oklahoma, Jordan’s upbringing was marked by grit and determination. “My parents were divorced, so finances were exceptionally tight,” she reflects, reminiscing about her formative years. Despite the challenges, Jordan excelled in academics and extracurricular activities, honing skills that would later prove invaluable in her career. From captaining the volleyball team to participating in Mock Trial, Jordan learned the importance of leadership and effective communication—a foundation she would build upon in her journey into real estate.

Before venturing into the world of property transactions, Jordan’s professional path led her through the

fields of procurement in the oil and gas industry, followed by a stint in an online education company. It was during these roles that she cultivated a knack for reading and negotiating legal contracts—a skill set that would seamlessly transition into the heart of real estate transactions. Reflecting on her past experiences, Jordan acknowledges, “Understanding the complexities of contracts prepared me for real estate and the diverse challenges it presents.”

Passion fuels Jordan’s endeavors, both in her individual pursuits and as a team leader. Her current focus is on nurturing her team members, aiming to facilitate their growth and success. “I am really focused on helping 7-8 team members close between 30-36

transactions,” she shares. “As a borrowed answer from how Ben Kinney describes Wealth, success for me is doing what I want with who I want, when I want - whether that’s helping a picky friend find her dream home, selling a challenging property that expired with other agents, coaching a team member on unlocking a new level in their business, or training a room full of people on how to find their mission and vision for their preferred future, I’m having fun along the journey and that is success in my book!”

Beyond her role as a REALTOR® and team leader, Jordan is deeply passionate about personal development. Through teaching a course titled “My Freed Life,” she empowers individuals to uncover their true potential and overcome internal obstacles. Drawing inspiration from her own journey of self-discovery, Jordan guides participants in reshaping their relationship with their aspirations and values. “Teaching this course affords me the opportunity to travel the U.S. and connect with incredible, self-aware individuals,” she explains.

The essence of Jordan’s success lies not only in her professional achievements but in the profound impact she has on others. “The most rewarding part of my business is helping homeowners build wealth through real estate,” she expresses. Jordan’s commitment to her clients extends beyond mere transactions; it embodies a genuine desire to empower them to achieve their financial goals and leave a lasting legacy.

Similarly, Jordan finds fulfillment in witnessing her team members achieve milestones and experience personal growth. From helping a single mother realize her dream of homeownership to enabling an agent to take their first vacation free from work, Jordan cherishes these moments of triumph. “It’s exciting what real estate sales can provide as a lifestyle,” she remarks, emphasizing the transformative power of her profession.

Despite her achievements, Jordan has encountered her fair share of challenges along the way. Yet, she remains steadfast in her commitment to perseverance and resilience. “Leadership can be one of the loneliest jobs you’ll ever do,” she acknowledges. Through vulnerability and a relentless pursuit of growth, Jordan navigates obstacles with grace and resilience, emerging stronger with each trial.

Outside the realm of real estate, Jordan finds solace and inspiration in her hobbies. Whether bonding with her team over a game of pickle ball or indulging in her passion for painting, she finds joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Painting, in particular, serves as a medium for self-reflection and introspection—a moment of stillness amidst the chaos of daily life. “It’s usually the painting that has revealed more of this girl,” she muses, reflecting on the transformative power of creativity.

For Jordan, keeping family close is a very important part of every day. “I live in a multi-generational home on two acres in Burleson,” she explains. “My husband, Matt, and two sons, Aiden (12) and Carson (9.5), live alongside my dad and step-mom, Mark and Debbie. We have two dogs: Dexter, a Maltipoo, and Max, a goldendoodle. We also have a feral cat named Disney, who comes to the window at feeding times and thunderstorms.”

FUN FACT:

Jordan is a certified Enneagram Trainer who travels and teaches others on the subject.

As Jordan Davis continues to carve her path in the real estate industry, her journey remains a testament to the transformative power of serving others and embracing personal growth. From her humble beginnings in Oklahoma to her current role as a leader and mentor, Jordan exemplifies the true essence of success—a journey marked by love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to making a difference in the lives of others.

“Jordan is an amazing leader to her team and her family. She strives to grow the people around her to consistently exceed their goals and live their best life. Jordan pours into the industry and truly wants to share her successes and her failures to help agents be successful. I admire her hustle and grit, she just keeps pushing to achieve more. She dreams big, so the goal is bigger.”

REALTOR® on the rise

Ronnie

Russell

STAYING HUMBLE

Ronnie Russell is not your typical real estate agent, and he will be the first to tell you that talking about himself isn’t exactly his favorite pastime. But in unraveling the story of his life and career, a portrait emerges of a people person through and through, deeply connected to his roots, friends, and the clients he serves with passion and dedication.

Growing up in Mesquite, Texas, Ronnie was part of a tight-knit family. “We were close,” he says, recalling summers spent at his grandparents’ cabin in Canton or on road trips to SeaWorld and Fiesta Texas. These formative experiences shaped his sense of community and the importance of familial bonds. After graduating from West Mesquite High School, he embarked on a journey that would take him through various phases of self-discovery and career exploration.

Ronnie’s first attempt at real estate began in the spring of 2004. Despite studying diligently, he faced setbacks. “I tried three times and just couldn’t pass the exam,” he remembers. Pivoting, he found success in the multi-family industry, rising from leasing apartments to becoming a regional manager overseeing three properties in nine years. Yet, the call to real estate never truly faded.

In September 2018, Ronnie decided to give real estate another shot. This time, he passed the exam, launching a career that has since flourished. With The Exclusive, a team brokerage, Ronnie has become a celebrated REALTOR® in the Fort Worth area, amassing a career volume just shy of $39 million in just five years. Last year alone, he closed $6 million in sales, despite $2.5 million of that volume being delayed until January 2024.

Ronnie’s passion for real estate extends beyond mere transactions. “My favorite part of being a REALTOR® is always seeing the joy in my clients after we’ve achieved their goal,” he shares. Whether it’s helping a family buy their first home or guiding an investor to their first property, Ronnie thrives on the excitement and satisfaction of his clients. It’s this genuine connection that sets him apart from others in the industry. “Ninety-five percent of my business is based on referrals,” he explains. “I keep all my clients close during and well after we’ve completed the transaction.”

Photos by: Katharine Gann, DayDream Photography

NEVER IN MY DREAMS as a kid did I think I’D BE MAKING THIS TYPE OF INCOME.

This commitment to his clients is mirrored in his personal life. Ronnie’s family has expanded significantly from his childhood days in a two-bedroom house. Now, with 16 siblings including halves, steps, and in-laws, his extended family gatherings are large and lively. “I love it!” he exclaims. Keeping up with everyone is a challenge, but social media helps him stay connected. He also maintains a close-knit group of friends he has known for over 25 years.

“Outside of relatives, I have a group of friends that are treated and act like family.”

Ronnie’s journey in real estate has also been a path to financial freedom. “Learning about real estate more and more has taught me how to leverage my knowledge of the market to achieve financial goals,” he says. He wasn’t raised to dream big due to financial constraints growing up, but overcoming this mental block has been a significant achievement. “Never in my dreams as a kid did I think I’d be making this type of income, owning multiple properties, and working with something I really love and enjoy.”

His goal for this year is ambitious: “I’m really swinging for the fence this year and trying to double my highest sales volume. I’m trying to do $20M in total sales!” This drive is accompanied by a deep love for the Dallas-Fort Worth area, a region he has called home all his life. “Seeing how large and fast Frisco is growing, I really think our acronym will change to DFFW within the next few years,” he predicts with excitement.

Outside of his bustling career, Ronnie finds joy in simple pleasures. “I like to go on bike rides to clear my head, love a good concert or music festival, and of course, a great patio hang with friends,” he says. This balance of professional ambition and personal fulfillment defines his approach to life and work. Eleven years ago, Ronnie began living with his best friend, who taught him some new things about himself, and found. “With my partner of now 11 years, we changed his Plano house to a home and then eventually built a semi-custom home in the growing city of Celina, TX, where we currently are enjoying life together.”

For those looking to follow in his footsteps, Ronnie’s advice is straightforward: “Don’t focus on the recognition, focus on the clients and the recognition will eventually come.” His success is a testament to this philosophy. With a blend of genuine care for his clients, a supportive family network, and an unwavering commitment to his goals, Ronnie Russell is not just selling houses—he’s building lasting relationships and a legacy of integrity and dedication.

As Ronnie continues to forge his path, one thing is clear: his energetic, outgoing, and positive nature will leave an indelible mark on everyone he encounters, both in life and in business. “I’ve always said, there’s no need to keep or remember the negativity. Deal with it and let it go,” he reflects. It’s this outlook that ensures Ronnie Russell will be remembered not just for his professional achievements, but for the warmth and authenticity he brings to every aspect of his life.

“With a work ethic that’s nothing short of stellar, Ronnie goes above and beyond, demonstrating time and again that success in real estate is fueled by much more than just transactions—it’s about creating meaningful connections and ensuring client satisfaction.”

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS

Cindy Young, a REALTOR® at Coldwell Banker Apex, has not had a conventional journey to real estate. When she first got into the business, she had no idea where it would lead. But today, Cindy can say real estate has literally changed her life, and she wakes up each day feeling blessed that she has helped so many people.

Cindy’s roots run deep in Fort Worth. “I grew up here and attended Castleberry High School,” she shares, reminiscing about her formative years. Following high school, Cindy embarked on a career in cosmetology, honing her skills as a hair stylist on the west side of the city. However, her journey took a new direction in 2016 when she transitioned into real estate.

“If you work with me, you get all of me,” Cindy affirms, underscoring her dedication to her clients. Real estate

isn’t just a profession for Cindy; it’s a calling—a platform to extend genuine care and support to those navigating the complexities of buying or selling homes. “There is so much more to real estate than just showing people houses,” she emphasizes, highlighting her commitment to education and advocacy.

The most rewarding aspect of Cindy’s career? “Helping someone buy a home that never thought it would be possible,” she reveals, her voice imbued with a sense of

fulfillment. Negotiating on behalf of her clients and witnessing their dreams come to fruition fuels her passion for real estate. In addition, helping other REALTORS® in the business that need help or ask for advice is something she loves being a part of. “I love pouring into other people. I also love the flexibility of being able to work from anywhere even when I am on vacation,” she smiles.

Yet, the path hasn’t been without its challenges. “Possibly the last few years in real estate have been the most challenging as the market changes. I spend a lot of time making sure my clients truly understand when its time to buy or sell, educating them on the market and understanding that sometimes your why outweighs an interest rate and how waiting can be worse,” she shares. Cindy acknowledges that educating clients amidst market changes is a crucial in the evolving dynamics of the real estate landscape of today. Navigating market fluctuations and imparting invaluable insights to her clients demands adaptability and foresight—an aspect of her role she embraces wholeheartedly.

For Cindy, success transcends financial milestones. “Success is living a life that is worth having,” she muses, emphasizing the importance of family, integrity, and personal fulfillment. Balancing work and family can be challenging at times, but Cindy finds true meaning in the connections she cultivates with her clients.

Cindy has garnered many accolades throughout her career, including Rookie of the Year in her first year and consistent recognition as a top producer. However, her greatest source of pride lies in her family—a husband and six children (5 boys and 1 girl)— who are actively involved in their community.

Outside of real estate, Cindy finds joy in spending time with her family, supporting her husband’s endeavors with drag racing and his YouTube channel. He is also an influencer for Dodge. “My family is my priority,” she asserts, embodying the essence of balance and fulfillment. “We travel with the races and put on events. The boys are a big help and are very involved with all that it takes getting the cars ready to race. I wouldn’t have it any other way!”

To aspiring real estate professionals, Cindy offers sage advice: “Always put your clients’ needs before your own,” she advises, emphasizing the importance of integrity, availability, and continuous learning. “I want to build a friendship with my clients instead of a business relationship.” For Cindy, authenticity and genuine care form the bedrock of her business.

As Cindy Young continues to live by a narrative of authenticity and passion in the realm of real estate, one thing remains abundantly clear—her unwavering commitment to her clients and her genuine desire to make a difference, one transaction at a time.
